She’s off limits. He has none.
There’s a girl.Beautiful. Popular. Fake. And my obsession. My fall.Probably my damnation.Did that stop me? Do I care? No and no.There’s a line between right and wrong. Moral and immoral. And then there’s her.I cross every limit with blood-coated fingers. She says she hates me.I say I hate her too as I trap her, own her.Make her all mine.Ruthless Empire is part of Royal … trap her, own her.
Make her all mine.
Ruthless Empire is part of Royal Elite Series but could be read on its own. For better understanding of the world, you might want to read the previous books first. This is a mature new adult and contains situations that some readers might find offensive.

Cole was so dark and twisty!
The following ratings are out of 5:
Romance:
Heat/Steam:
Story/Plot:
World building:
Character development:
The setting: Royal Elite School
The Hero: Cole – He and two friends were kidnapped when they were eight and it changed him. He is one of the four horsemen at Royal Elite and is called Famine because he is silent and deadly on the field.
The heroine: Silver –Neighbor to Cole and the horsemen, also used to be friends with Kim. She was cruel to both Kim and Elsa in the first few books in this series and is known as the Queen B of Royal elite.
Every time I read a book from Rina Kent it seems to be better than the last. I just love her dark romances. Man, I thought Aiden (Devious King) was dark and twisty but Cole blows him out of the water. Cole is not only dark, he might be a psychopath. But he has an iron control and a photographic memory. I don’t know why someone so dark and dangerous is so hot, but Cole is all that and a bag of chips!
Though I really liked Cole in previous books, I found out that we really didn’t know him at all. Nobody does since he keeps everything to himself. He is a bit of a Silver Stalker also, he knows everything she does and most of the reasons why.
I thought I would hate Silver in this book since she was such a mean girl in the earlier books in the series, but that is all explained in this book and deep down she is just too scared to let anybody close to her for herself and for them (she cut ties with Kim because she knew her Mother would give Kim a complex if they stayed friends). However, she does some good things for people she treats badly, and is much deeper than you would think. So Silver was redeemed early in the book for me.
Lastly, this book is definitely sizzling hot. There are a lot of intimate scenes between Cole and Silver and they are off the charts erotic. Though later in the book when the two of them were together the steamy parts were sort of glossed over. So for the fans who don’t like too many steamy scenes, this should be fine with them. For me, I like all the steamy scenes, so I wasn’t too happy when the love scenes were mentioned but not detailed.
The book contains items that go back to the first book, including some awesome scenes between Elsa and Silver and shows them from Silver’s point of view which I thought was exceptional.
I voluntarily read & reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts & opinions are my own.
The fourth horsemen at the Royal Elite, Cole, has a creepy vibe. Because of his silent and deadly nature he is called Famine. Outside he is a good boy, a nerd and mamma’s boy but below that facade is a calculated and subtle man.
Silver is torn between her divorced, over-achiever parents. She loves them and they love her, to keep them happy and make them happy Silver changed herself to fit and play their favoured role. As a consequence she lost all her close friends and is surrounded by fake people.
“You’re fake, but not with me. Never with me.”
“Shut the fuck up, Cole.”
“Uh-oh, Miss Prim and Proper is cursing.”
“I hate you. I hate you so much.”
Cole and Silver share a bond since they were kids. They hate-like each other. Silver tries to fight her feelings for Cole. In his presense it feels like she turns on her ‘brat’ mode which makes her feel foolish. While Cole is mocking at Silver’s fakeness and also seducing her, their relationship turn complicated when their parents marry.
“Here’s the thing, Butterfly, I can’t stop.”
“Why not?”
“Because you’re my chaos, and I can’t survive without chaos.”
“I’m chaos?”
“The worst of all. The most beautiful of all. And you know what? You might as well be the deadliest.”
My breathing chops off. “Are you ever going to let me go?”
“Are you?”
Their relationship was complicated but not so complicated and difficult as taboo stories are. After their HEA it took time to come open about their relatonship to the world.
What I like about this book is the story about Guv and the doll. It’s a dark, creepy, twisted story which totally matches Cole. The villain was perfectly hidden. Cole and Silver’s story was better than Knight and Kim, but the stories are losing it’s touch. Rina Kent can build an awesome climax of a story but unreason lameness doesn’t let the story reach it’s peak. If you’ve been continuing this series Cole and Silver’s story will be hard to miss.
4.5 stars
Ruthless Empire is the 6th and final book of the Royal Elite series. Rina did a great job with my man’s story. Cole is Chaos, he thrives by it, lives and breathes by this.
I’ve been waiting patiently for his book since I met him with Levi’s book. His mystery and smart brain had me at first meet, and FINALLY! He’s here and I loved this series, some books more than others but Cole is right up there with the KING boys.
Cole Nash is everything we suspected and more!
Silver Queens it’s not what we were led to believe, a facade if you will, a true and utter DOLL.
Rina brought her A-game with Cole and Silver, she gives us the angst, taboo romance, steamy sex scenes, gritty twists, and turns. It’s not at all predictable it will leave you in total and utter shock.
This book has all the key points I love to read, so buckle up Sparky you’re in for a ride with these two stubborn characters!!!
Ruthless Empire is the sixth book of the ‘Royal Elite’ series by the best selling author Rina Kent. Told in dual perspectives , this book was literally RINA KENT at her damn best!!
I had been waiting for this book for like ever!!! And every second of that wait for Cole Nash was worth it! He is chaos in the purest form. None of you are prepared for the storm these two bring with them. When I first knew that Silver would be Cole’s match , I wasn’t that excited because we all know she is Queen B. But I was so damn shocked in this book. Silver is not who we know. There is so much more to her!!
Cole and Silver have known each other since their childhood. They both had a mutual dislike for each other. That is until they found peace with each other on their worst day together. Weaknesses were shared and a bond was formed. A bond that lasted forever.
Silver is the queen bitch. She has an image to maintain and damn that girl takes her role seriously. My heart hurt so much for her. She was so lonely. Sometimes it was like Cole was the only person who knew her. She had so many regrets. There were unforgivable things she did , things that had a reason. All I hoped throughout the whole book was that she would confess her damn secrets!! That girl is so secretive!
Cole Nash is a mystery. He is the outward gentleman you will meet, but the silent villain who won’t hesitate to rip you into pieces if you came in his way. There was so much more to cole and he is the damn best character Rina has ever created. I loved being in his mind. The way he saw things was different from anything I have ever seen! None of you are ready for the chaos Cole Nash is going to bring at you!! ohh and I also know who the ‘dog’ was in his car !! lol 🙂
Both Cole and Silver had a very complicated story. Both wanted each other and hated each other. Things got even more complicated when their parents got married. But Cole was not going to let anyone come in his way. Silver was his and that meant nothing would ever keep them apart.
There were a lot of other things that I loved about this book! Like the added humour of Ronan had me laughing so hard! He is the most funniest character I have ever met and I just wanted to grab him out of the book and hug. Teal might end up killing me for that though.
This book was everything you would expect and so much more! It won’t matter how much long I make this review , you won’t understand the awesomeness of this book until you read it yourself!!! This is one of those books that is not to be missed and I loved every second of it! Cole Nash is literally one of my top anti heroes now. Recommended to all the dark Romance lovers out there!
My gosh, I feel like I’ve been begging for this book. This couple was endgame for me, and was ultimately gonna determine how I felt about the entire crew. Not that I want to judge them all based on the one, but I’ve had some disappointing conclusions for series dropped in my lap and I prayed that this wasn’t going to be one.
And then I cheered, because it absolutely was not.
The Queen Bee and our aloof Famine make up this last RES couple, and the pairing would probably be strange, but it really worked here. They brought out some intriguing qualities in each other, and provided a kind of support that they definitely couldn’t get anywhere else.
The twists were almost unfathomable, and honestly, Kent gets to take the crown for keeping me on my toes. I walk a tightrope reading her books, and luckily, she hasn’t dropped me on my head, not even once.
Phe-no-me-nal!!!!! This is one of my favorite series ever but I always get anxious when the new book comes out. Not because I’m worried that it might not meet my expectations but because Rina always finds a way to give us more than before. More angst, more drama, more suspense, more steaminess, just more of everything we love in her books and that’s exactly what we got. I was intrigued by Cole in her previous books. He seemed so mysterious, alluring, intelligent, but also sweet at times. We didn’t know too much about Cole, but he seemed like he had a troubled past or darker “soul”. In this book we find out about his darker side and it was everything I hoped it would be. Cole you little hot thing you! He is definitely my favorite out of the four even though I told myself not to pick favorites.
Silver on the other hand, I needed a minute to start liking. In the previous books, she was cold, calculating, plain mean especially to Elsa and that’s my girl. So I went into this book honestly not liking Silver all that much but holding hope that she would change. It’s not so much that she changed but more that we got to see the reasons behind her actions Even so, I still couldn’t understand some of her decisions but I love how Cole always saw through her cool exterior and explained why she did what she did. That was my favorite part. She grew on me because Cole never gave up on her.
Now their relationship!! Boy do these two love to annoy each other. It was a constant push and pull from beginning to end. But even when they were fighting you felt this chemistry between them that couldn’t be broken. Their history from when they were kids really touched me. It explained why Cole felt such a strong connection to her. I loved the mystery within the story and some major twists that blew my mind in the end. To say I didn’t see that coming would be an understatement. It was just brilliant. I can’t wait to read Jonathan’s story next.

Ruthless Empire had me engrossed from the beginning. There are so many layers to Cole and Silver’s story, it will keep you truly captivated throughout the whole book.
“ , . ’ .”
Writing a book about a previous villain, can be a major step to accomplish but Rina Kent has done it with ease; Silver is now one of my favourite characters.
Silver comes so far in this book, I absolutely loved getting into her head, somehow she was so relatable and real. And yes, she was a major Queen B but there is so much to her we didn’t get to see or know before. I just found myself understanding every decision/thought she made.
Cole, has probably taken the number one place as my favourite horsemen. He is silent mysterious type, very cunning and also kinky af. Normally I love the wild type of hero but Cole just holds a special place.
Cole is always 10 steps ahead of everyone else and most likely knows their moves before they do, or so he likes to think. In saying that even though we know him as one of the more calculated characters, I think he will definitely surprise you.

Cole and Silver’s relationship is so intense, the connect between them is very emotional and undeniable. I loved their way of teasing and how much they actually needed each other, even when they didn’t want that to be the case.
Let’s not forget those lusty scenes, they were hot!
Can I just say, that plot twist! Omg I was not expecting that at all, it has truly blown my mind; in the best way. But just WOW.

If you are after a book with:
⇥ Angst
⇥ Passion
⇥ Intensity
⇥ Dark romance
⇥ A killer plot twist
⇥ and the best kind of Chaos
Ruthless Empire is the definition of these, so I definitely suggest adding this one to your kindles.

I love this book!
I’ve been waiting for Cole and Silver’s story ever since the first book of the series as I knew the two of them would be fire together! Boy, was I right. I knew Cole was kinky, and I love him for it. I actually think he is my favourite alpha male from this series. No, I don’t think; I know.
I loved how this story was told from a dual POV and also that the story started when the two of them were younger and slowly made its way through the events of previous books up until the present day.
This really did end the series well and I’m looking forward to reading more about Cole and Silver alongside the other couples in the Epilogue that releases later this year!
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Let me just state these facts:
Ruthless Empire is the BEST RES book. It will forever be my favorite book from Rina Kent. It is the best book that was released in 2020!!! NOTHING beats this book‼
I already knew this but Cole is the love of my life ‼ I love his story so so much It included EVERYTHING you can think of, Romance, Suspense, Drama, etc. At times I was going crazy, then I was falling in love, I even got scared, but let me tell you if there is one book I’ll always remember it’ll be RUTHLESS EMPIRE ‼
I can’t wait for everyone to read his book now Everything that I secretly hoped and wished would happen in his book came through I’ll never forget this book and know this fact, I’ll never get tired of rereading this book .
I didn’t want this book to end. Just like I don’t want to say goodbye to Royal Elite, I didn’t want to close the book on Cole and his chaos. I will say that this tied up the whole series beautifully with the darkness I’ve come to expect from this author. But I adored this and this whole series and it’s one I’ll most certainly come back to. 4.5*
Thanks to Wildfire Marketing and the author for the advance copy. My review is unbiased.
So didn’t expect the ending of Cole and Silvers story, that ending came outta left field and smacked me in the head.
Another 5 star read from Rina Kent.
Cole and Silver have been the most secretive of the bunch and that’s saying a lot considering the couple’s in this series.
Rina has the ability to make you fall for a book boyfriend and think he is the best and then the next book comes out and you fall harder for the new one.
I love how all the stories are intertwined, the past stories make appearances in this book so you have a timeline the group and how things were happening around the same time.
Awesome end to the series, I just hope there is a book showing all the couple past the epilogues we have already gotten.
FIVE BUTTERFLY STARS for Silver and Cole !!!
I can’t believe this is the last in the “Royal Elite” series !!!
I liked every book in this series and I was especially looking forward to “Vicious Prince”, Ronan’s book.
But, I have to admit that as much as I loved Ronan, Cole is the one who stole my heart.
This book is all you could wish for from the last book in any series.
Not only did the book answer all the questions that kept spinning in my head since I read the first book in this series, but it showed the main characters in a new light and it also showed that the characters are never what they seem at first, but we need to see their side of the story so we can to understand them.
Rina proved once again that she is a master at creating complicated and very interesting characters and a plot whose ending only a few individuals would have predicted.
This book simply left me speechless…
“Ruthless Empire” is the sixth book in the “Royal Elite” series.
It’s a dark bully high school romance with forbidden love and enemies to lovers tropes.
Silver is a female character who completely surprised me in this book.
Not only did I discover some completely different and hidden side of her, but I also got answers for her behavior that I was familiar with from previous books.
And because of all that, she became one of my favorite female characters from the book world.
Cole is one perfectly imperfect male character.
There were moments in the book when he just got on my nerves because of his bad behavior towards Silver.
But in the end, when he finally admitted to himself his feelings for Silver, he broke my heart in a good way.
Hmm… I think I have a new book boyfriend.
Silver and Cole’s relationship has been complicated from the start thanks to the life situations they have found themselves in.
Although they spent a lot of time teasing each other and competing over who was better, in the end, it all contributed to an explosive relationship that neither of them had hoped for.
If you’ve read the previous books in the “Royal Elite” series and also love Rina’s writing style, then this is absolutely book for you!!!
Highly recommended!!!
P.S. Can’t wait for Jonathan’s book !!!
Ok I have waited as long as I could before I read this book. I wanted to savor everything about it so I waited until I had the time to shut everyone and everything out. Why you ask well let me tell you, it is because I knew just knew that Rina was going to play with every one of my my emotions. I knew she was going to take me on an emotional roller coaster ride, AND I just knew she was going to rip me to shreds only to piece me back together piece by piece. I have waited for Cole and Silver’s story knowing every single one of these reasons, and I loved every single second of it.
Cole is a mysterious as he is a huge alpha-hole. I mean he puts Aiden to shame on being that, and we all know how possessive he is…… He plans everything meticulously to ensure he gets what he wants. He sits back and observes everything before he makes his move. As you have read in the previous books he is the quiet one, and we all know the quiet ones are the ones you need to look out for. Now Miss Silver there are so many layers to her. We get to see each layer pulled back, and we get to see the real her. This young woman is stronger than anyone thinks and carries the weight of the world on her shoulders. These two young people have a long and winding road ahead of them, but Cole does not let that stop him from catching his Butterfly.
4.5 stars!!
This is book 6 of “Royal Elite” series and I don’t recommend reading as a stand alone but you could. I believe this is the final book as well. We finally find out what is behind Cole and Silver!!!
Omg I knew Cole was just what I wanted. He is a dick but he cares. Even though he pretends he doesn’t. Same as Silver. I hated her in other books but this book showed me a side and made me love her.
Cole hinted at a darker side in other books. You get a glimpse but he never really follows through. That was a little disappointing. But young love changes everything. I really enjoyed their story because they were both so different then I thought throughout the other two books. And to see things playing out at the same time frame as other books was really cool. Now I wanna go back and re-read them all!!
This was not my favorite of the books but I do believe this is my favorite couple. Silver still annoys me but in a different way now. Now it’s because she is so damn naive. But I love her for loving others. Rina nails it in character development. I still love all my Elite boys!!
Let me tell you the twist at the end rocked my world. I def did NOT see that coming at all!! This is a great read!! Series usually run dry after a few books but 6 books and this series is still just as good as book one.
**I received this book as an ARC and in return gave my honest review**
This book is fantastic! It was totally worth the wait! It had everything all wrapped up into one book. Mystery, suspense, and a hot romance. I voluntarily read an arc of this book.
I love the way Rina brings her characters to life. Cole and Silver’s story blew me away. What does it say about me that I’m reading about a character who is an obvious psychopath but one that I loved reading about. Seriously even I’m questioning my own morals and sanity
Silver was the girl that I disliked intensley from the previous books but Rina was clever and through flashbacks gave us all her truths. Cole keeps so much bottled inside that you will never be able to dive deep enough into his mind to get to the heart of what makes him tick. I liked seeing scenes from previous books from Silver’s POV you may not believe me but you will be cheering her on by the end of the book. These kids are cruel and intense but they make addictive reading.
Rina has yet again delivered a dark intense sexy story with a revelation that stopped me in my tracks. This is a series I never want to end.
What have I just read! These books and Rina’s writing just gets better and better.
Cole and Silver’s story was everything and more, dark, twisted and full of angst and intrigue, keeping me reading in a way I can’t explain. The writing is fantastic and I’m trying very hard to not give anything away. I loved the writing style that somehow intensified the suspense and intrigue to keep me guessing.
I have to say, Silver wasn’t a character I took to in previous books, but you see need in a whole new light here.
As with All the books, it can be read as a standalone however the previous books will enhance your understanding.
This book is a beautiful work of art and I consumed it in one sitting. The entire Royal Elite series has been perfection. Throughout the series, I hated Silver. I loved Cole but utterly despised Silver. I was convinced there was no way Rina Kent could change my mind. However, Rina weaved her story-telling magic and made me adore her. This story is dark, beautiful, painful and steamy with a twist of suspense. Cole is cruel, stoic, consumed, obsessed and oh such an alpha. This book is a one click, five star, must read masterpiece. Rina Kent has delivered her best work to date and I would give it a hundred stars!
My review-
1) What worked for me:
-this final book in the RES world was EPIC and it tied up the series beautifully
-the steamy scenes were kinkier than the previous and oh so delicious
-the villian of this story is jaw droppingly surprising
2) What did not work for me:
-the explicit scene that featured childhood sexual abuse was difficult to read
4.5 WOW Stars….
I don’t know how the Author does it, but she delivers the perfect story that leaves you mind blown – Every. Single. Time. After each book in the Royal Elite series I’ve asked, “How can she actually come up with something to top that?” and you know what, she does and its explosive! These books have me so engrossed that I have a hard time putting them down. They are so twisted, yet they have that element that makes you fall for these “Boys”.
I have been on the edge waiting for Cole’s story, he is the guy that sits back and watches everybody else, we never really got too much from him in previous books, just enough to be intrigued, to draw you in. Then here he is, the person you didn’t expect, a story you would have never guessed and an ending that surprises you.
There is so much to say, but I can’t give anything away – I am soooo glad I took the chance on this series and its dark and twistiness…
