She’s off limits. He has none.
There’s a girl.Beautiful. Popular. Fake. And my obsession. My fall.Probably my damnation.Did that stop me? Do I care? No and no.There’s a line between right and wrong. Moral and immoral. And then there’s her.I cross every limit with blood-coated fingers. She says she hates me.I say I hate her too as I trap her, own her.Make her all mine.Ruthless Empire is part of Royal … trap her, own her.
Make her all mine.
Ruthless Empire is part of Royal Elite Series but could be read on its own. For better understanding of the world, you might want to read the previous books first. This is a mature new adult and contains situations that some readers might find offensive.

Ever since I read Black Knight and then Vicious Prince I’ve been looking forward to another Royal Elite book! Once I started Ruthless Empire I ended up finishing it in one sitting.
Silver and Cole’s journey isn’t easy. I liked how I got into their minds and the moments throughout that pulled me in a bit more. I enjoyed the fact that I felt many different things throughout this story. I just really struggled to connect to these two characters.
*I volunteered to read and review a copy of this book from Red Hatter Book Tours / the author*

Ruthless Empire is the sixth book in the Royal Elite series by the amazing Rina Kent. To be honest, i have not read this series in the conventional way. I started with Black Knight then, Vicious Prince then, Cruel King and now Ruthless. Crazy i know .
Don’t worry, i’ll definitely read Aiden’s book.
I had been waiting for this book anxiously. I was supposed to receive an ARC and when i did’t i cried my eyes out!!! But the pain was worth it.
So, it all started in a park. The moment Cole saw Silver crying in that park when they were kids, he knew that she was it for him. His Chaos. They made a pact, they promised to give each other all their firsts.
Silver was groomed by her mother to be a lady. She had to hide her emotions and act a certain way to please her. She even had to push away her best friend Kim. She became an illusion, she looked so pretty on the outside but on the inside, it was something else.
The one person she couldn’t fool and the one person who saw right through her was Cole.
Cole is the epitome image of a gentleman. He will smile in your face but won’t hesitate to destroy you if you crossed his way. I’m always intrigued by the quite and dark characters, they are the ones who’ll surprise me the most. And Cole did not disappoint at all. I loved the way he was obsessed by Silver, how he took the time to see her and understand her. To be honest he really made me swoon.
They both wanted and hated each other, and with their parents getting married things got more complicated. He challenged her at every turn. He hated her in public and worshiped her in private. She tried to fight her feelings for him but in was in vain, she always fell back in his arms.

I really enjoyed their story, and that twist!!!? I did not see that coming!!
I loved seeing all of them at the end, it was a tear jerking moment
The only thing that disappointed me was not having a reunion scene for Silver and Kim, i was expecting an emotional moment and lots of tears but that didn’t happen .
This series is an AMAZING series, i fell in love with each and everyone of them and it kinda suck to say goodbye.
I strongly recommend this series.

Ruthless Empire is the last full book in the Royal Elite Series, and quite possibly my favorite. Cole was absolutely EVERYTHING. I craved every single dark and filthy thing about him. I am a huge fan of dub con and Cole satisfied that craving completely. Silver was also a completely refreshing female lead. Not often do you read a book where the FMC has sociopathic tendencies and her lack of emotions and empathy make her a standout character for me. Usually the male lead is the one with these characteristics in dark romance novels so I really feel like it set Ruthless Empire apart. Rina Kent will forever be a favorite of mine, everything I have read of hers has been a knockout. She is so consistent in the fact that she can pull me in and make me CRAVE more every single time. I cannot wait to read the epilogue but I am so sad to see this series end! Amazing, amazing work!
Just when you think you know…. Rina Kent proves that no, you don’t know anything at all. LOL I felt like she was saying, stop guessing just read, this is not going to predictable, and BAM hits you out of left field with twists and turns and completely ruins everything you were thinking. I really enjoyed how this story unfolded, that we got to go back and see things from the beginning and then move forward and gave us different perspectives on certain situations. I will say I was not ready for this story to end, even with all the emotions, ups and downs, sad, mad, happy, excited, shocked, the list goes on. Rina Kent really knows how to spin a story, and I think this may have been my favorite of the series, I give this 5 stars.
Another great book by Rina Kent. I loved the characters, but it seemed a little rushed like the last book. Although, I really did enjoy seeing a new side to Silver, I still mildly dislike her.
I think there were a few small details we never get clarification on but it was definitely a good read.
This was a great next book in the series. I loved that quite a big portion of this book was taking us back to how Cole and Silver met. I always love flashbacks, as they give so much to a character and why they are the way they are. Both characters were so intriguing and had great growth within the book.
And the end? I did not see that twist coming from a mile away! Awesome! I can highly recommend it.
This was my favorite of the series. And that says alot because I LOVE THEM SO MUCH. EVERY
SINGLE
BOOK
EVERY
SINGLE
CHARACTER
But theres something about Cole and Silver that made my heart skip alittle more. Reading them chapters from when they were kids and the firsts just made me smile so big.. Ugh I LOVED IT.
I didn’t think I would love Silver as much as I did. But she definitely won me over right from the beginning. I got to finally see why she was the way she was. And I was heartbroken for her. She just wanted to be herself but she couldnt.
Cole. Oh my word. COLE. He stole my breath. He was my favorite man of them ALL. He was so possessive, dominating, calculating, SWEET, ATTENTIVE, CARING. HE WAS EVERYTHING.
I was living for the push and pull. The enemies to lovers AND stepbrother and sister trope mixed together gave me ALL the feelings and ALL the life. Their chemistry was FIRE. I never wanted this to end. And then finding out who the Doll Master was.. Wow. This book was executed with such perfection I dont think anything could have made this better. My absolute favorite of the series. My favorite couple. I LOVED THE ENDING!!!!!
This whole series was worth so much more than 5 stars. Unbelievable.
I am speechless!!
I can’t believe this is the last book but oh my what a book it was!!! I loved being able to get answers to questions that I’ve had along the way and feel that this book has given me closure on the series despite wanting it to go on forever!! These characters are intense and have so much depth. I love being able to see a different side to characters and see them grow and show you as side that you aren’t expecting and you certainly get that.
The plot, characters, emotion, intensity and action throughout this series has been amazing and this book is a fantastic finale!!
A MUST READ SERIES!!
( I wish I could give more stars!!)
With each new book in this series it really does get better as does the storyline. I am absolutely freaking in love with these characters in this one so dang much. Just couldnt put down or get enough of them at all. Had been so excited to get this one and it did nit disappoint. Really enjoyed every minute of this.
I know an extended epilogue is coming along with a duet for Daddy King, but Cole & Siver are our goodbye!
Get ready for all the dark gritty angst, strong emotions, and fiery steam that only Rina can provide
I love how an author can make me change my mind and end up changing how I feel about a character. Not going to lie Silver was my least favorite character ever since Steele Princess. But Cole and Silver’s story was everything. These two were meant for each other. So many emotions within their story. With their complicated relationship they were able to open up and come together and reveal their true feelings for each other. Another great story by Rina Kent!
I’m so sad that this is the last book of the Royal Elite Series. I have loved all things RES and fell for all these characters. This was Cole and Silver’s story and it was a great way to end the series. I have always liked Cole and was so excited for his story. Silver was not a favorite character of mine but I was hoping her story would show me another side of her and I wasn’t disappointed. In Rina Kent form there were some unexpected things that happened. But I’m a seasoned reader of hers so I kinda had it figured out. This book did open up Silver to me and I was able to relate to her more. She’s up in my top 3 female characters of Rina’s now. I loved this book!
Very riveting! Great plot with a fantastic plot twist at the end that left me reeling. I was dying to read Cole’s story since he was a brooding presence in the other books, always reading a book, but knowing everything that was going on around.
Silver is a victim of her parent’s divorce. Torn between loyalty to her father and mother, she’s the perfectly proper lady to please her mother, and a doting daughter who takes care of her father. Her mother is a self-centered, manipulating selfish person who wanted to raise her daughter to be her own image, and relies on Silver a lot. I felt for this poor rich girl because her parents’ divorce ripped her life apart, then she had to grow a barrier around her for protection so her friends wouldn’t see how she felt inside. She couldn’t let them see her cry and hurting. So, she decided to change into an ice queen, very bitchy and off-putting, surrounded by two ditzy friends with no substance. From afar, she watched the friends she used to love, protected them even if she shunned them in public.
Cole had an abusive childhood, product of a father who beat him and his mother. He was kidnapped as a child and it marked him; from this moment is when he started to appreciate living and controlling chaos. He incited chaos and observed from outside.
“Chaos is the only thing that makes me stop and stare. It’s a pause button to my brain.”
They have a love/hate relation that started when they were six years old and continues to present day. For Cole, Silver was his favorite chaos, but instead of being devoted, he was her bully, possessive and passionate, kinky as heck. Silver lives a fake life, seems to be a mean queen bee, but in reality, she cares about everyone, and does what she can to help.
“Silver has an outside image and an inside one. They never overlap and she’s becoming an expert at juggling her two lives. One is Daddy’s little girl, her mother’s perfect daughter, and the top student, piano player, and classical music lover. The other is everything else. Like listening to rock music and eating Snickers bars in secret. The punches, too. That’s why I did everything to bring them out.”
This book was truly riveting because it was so convoluted, the characters were multi-layered and you don’t see a way out for them to have an HEA. My only drawback was the juvenile dialogues between Cole and Silver. I counted at least fifteen times that Silver answered “I hate you” to Cole, not very imaginative. Also, Cole’s way of calling her attention was to pull on her ponytail. This juvenile interaction was typical between them, and it got tiring.
I loved Cole’s devotion to his mother, sacrificing his comfort for her happiness. Likewise, Silver lived to please her parents, to respect and protect their public personas, given her father was a PM candidate and her mother a prominent politician. She cared for them sometimes to the detriment of her happiness.
You could tell how they were important to each other, their feelings, their obstacles, Cole’s possessiveness and Silver’s jealousness. There were strong feelings between them but also some hostility. The book seemed to stay stagnant, with their back and forth, until about 80%, then the action accelerated and everything seemed to happen in the last 20%. It was a great read, but it could have been better, and Silver could have had better dialogues than “I hate you” answers.
Ruthless Empire 4.5
Oh god i didn’t see this coming and it was so unlike anything i read by this author.
Cole a psychopath with a prince charming smile and his obsession
Silver a sweetheart with a queen b exterior
but what happens when all the circumstances are against them.
let me start by saying this book was so different from all of Rina’s books the plot twist was so unexpected and it was very much a thriller as it was a continuation to this series, we learn of everything that went on between Silver and Cole and their history and what makes them.. Silver was a surprise for me because i ended up loving her the most out of all the heroines of this series and Cole did win my heart by the end, the book was a slow burn and full of twists and turns but definitely one of the top ones in the series even if i won’t be able to sleep from the nightmares, also i wasn’t satisfied with the epilogue cause i wanted more from the other characters and good closure so i was glad to see there will be a epilogue novella that made me satisfied with the book definitely a good last book.
Favorite Quotes
”I don’t mind self-destructing if it’s with you.”
“Silver’s not only chaos, she’s also a goddess. The type everyone can watch from afar, but I’m the only one who gets to worship at her altar.”
“Chaos is the only thing that makes me stop and stare. It’s a pause button to my brain.”
“you’re my chaos, and I can’t survive without chaos.”
Ummmm yeh ok right now all I can say is holy s***!!
I’ve loved every single one of the RES series books and was super sad that this was the last book for all the guys.
But oh my goodness Rina certainly ended this series with a bang!! The glimpses we got of Silver and Cole throughout the other books does nothing to prepare you for their story.
Looks are certainly very deceiving in this story and you find that out with both Silver and Cole’s character.
I’ve always found Cole intriguing throughout the series so I couldn’t wait to finally get to know his character. The mind games he loves to play with people and the way he likes to push Silver’s buttons certainly make you wanting to know what he’s going to do next.
Silver I will admit in previous books I didn’t like at all, but now I have got to say that she’s one of my favourite heroines out of the series. The internal struggles that she goes through, yet the strength she always shows just made me love her more and more as the story went on.
The plot twist in the book has pretty much left me speechless. My mind was constantly trying to work things out and just when I thought I figured things out… BAM! Rina throws in one heck of a twist that I didn’t see coming at all!!
This will have you on the edge of your seat, turning the pages as quick as you can to find out how the book is going to end. This was without a doubt a bloody fantastic ending to an addictive, all-consuming series!
5 Stars
Phew!! This was one rollercoaster, everything I believed and expected it to be—it simply wasn’t. I was so sure about some things but THAT PLOT TWIST, bruh!! IT—WHAT WAS THAT??? I’m still in shock. The writing was spectacular and Rina weaved a good plot.
I think having read all the previous books…I can safely say Aiden x Elsa & Silver Cole are my top couples, there’s just something about how possessive the guys are for their girls. In Ruthless Empire’s case the sexual chemistry was on it was soooo intense, phew! *fans self*
Super sad to let this group of friends go but farewell RoyalEliteSchool

Ruthless Empire Book 6: Royal Elite Series by Rina Kent
Rina has done it again!!! She’s completely blown me away! Cole was everything I hoped he’d be and so much more! He’s dark, calculative, silent and deadly. He’s very similar to Aiden in so many ways but completely different at the same time. I feel like when he’s quiet, everyone should be worried. He’s so beautiful and ugly in every way, he’s possessive and jealous.
This book is finally the eye opener we needed into Silver Queens mind, why she is the way she is! I know there are a lot of Silver supporters out there and I’m finally on your side. She’s a complete bully and an absolute bitch but she has her reasons and my heart goes out to her. We always seem to forgive the alphahole heroes, so why not forgive Silver for her bitchiness.
Rina raised the heat with this book and opened doors to some freaky shit. I’m in love with this duo, Cole and Silver are a perfect match and their personalities compliment each other. Then Rina threw us in the deepen-end with yet another crazy twist, I was literally not expecting that, my jaw literally hit the floor.
I cannot wait for Jonathan’s book.
Where to start? Cole Nash is everything I hoped he would be an more! Rina Kent saved the best for last in my opinion.
I don’t even have words for how much I loved this book. The twist and turns and WTF moments were just perfect. Ruthless Empire is everything I hoped for and more. I have no words. The twist in this book left me completely speechless.
Cole Nash is dark, dangerous, sexy AF, and ruthless. Silver Queens is more than the Queen B, shallow girl she pretends to be. Their demons are there just below the surface, waiting to come out.My heart honestly hurt for both of them. They have a connection that just can’t be matched or denied. Cole’s claim and need for her is there from such an early age. While Silver tried to deny it, Cole was demanding it.
Rina Kent just blew me away with Ruthless Empire. I still can’t even explain how much I loved Cole and Silver. Kent saved the best for last with these two. When I can form full sentences that make sense and don’t give spoilers I’ll fix my review.
Rina has completely and utterly blown my mind with this book. This is the final book in this series, and I am so sad to see them go, but I legit died for this story. I could not put this down, I blew through it in one sitting, burning through page after page on the edge of my seat waiting to see what was going to happen next. I could not have prepared myself for the ride that is Ruthless Empire.
I don’t want to give anything away because this book needs to be gone into blind, it just does. Otherwise you’ll miss out on all the surprises that Rina has crafted making this book incredibly intense and precariously depraved. But I will say this Cole and Silver are addictively dangerous and absolute perfection.
Silver is so much more than I thought she would be. In all the books prior all you get to see is the façade that she puts on, so it was refreshing to see the girl behind the mask. I felt for her and everything that she has gone through. There’s a lot of pressure put on her and it has to be exhausting being perfect all the time.
Cole is dark and depraved and I loved every second of his immoral behavior. I knew that he was intense, but I had no idea just how intense he actually is. But considering the circumstances of his childhood I’m not really all that surprised. I loved the conflicting layers of this man and how he tries to balance them, while also keeping his own mask in place so that others can’t read him.
I cannot sing the praises of this book enough. The twists and turns are enough to keep you guessing until the very last moment. And what a freaking ending I did not see it coming at all, it was a flawless end to an incredible series. Rina has without a doubt created magic with this series, if you like your books intensely corrupt with characters that have an iffy moral compass than this book is for you.
I am speechless. Obsessed. Addicted. Endlessly in love. And not ready to say goodbye.
Ruthless Empire is one of the best books I have ever read. I did not know how Rina Kent does this, but with every story, she manages to surprise me even more with her twisted plots and complex, unpredictable heroes. Oh boy, the way she led Cole and Silver’s story. I still remember how I looked at the wall thinking “I did not see this coming”.
Cole and Silver are so much more than I imagined. I had a certain idea about them based on previous books but the reality was completely different, way complicated, emotional even scary. Filled with secrets, loneliness, and insecurities. Silver and Cole’s story is highly addictive, thrilling, dark, and steamy. Both of them give as much as they take. And they need each other to be chaos we, readers, love.
„…you’re the reason I Iook forward to new days.”
I was waiting for the Ruthless Empire with flushed cheeks and a dose of fear. Because, when you crave something, sometimes your expectations are too high. But not this time. The author satisfied me with the ending of the Royal Elite series. There was no dull moment in this story. And I am going to read it again very soon. Bravo!
