She’s off limits. He has none.
There’s a girl.Beautiful. Popular. Fake. And my obsession. My fall.Probably my damnation.Did that stop me? Do I care? No and no.There’s a line between right and wrong. Moral and immoral. And then there’s her.I cross every limit with blood-coated fingers. She says she hates me.I say I hate her too as I trap her, own her.Make her all mine.Ruthless Empire is part of Royal … trap her, own her.
Make her all mine.
Ruthless Empire is part of Royal Elite Series but could be read on its own. For better understanding of the world, you might want to read the previous books first. This is a mature new adult and contains situations that some readers might find offensive.

Cole Nash can silently slaughter our hearts and I cant believe this is the last book in this series..I loved how silver and Cole bring out the deepest feelings in each other.Silver’s character was beautiful inside and out.Their chemistry was pure fire and it was more stronger than any other character.Cant wait for the final epilogue!
Wow! This book… there’s a lot to unpack. I couldn’t wait to read this book!! This book is dark, edgy, suspenseful, guttural with gritty real issues. This book is emotionally tumultuous, powerful, moving, indelible, heart-wrenching, but deliciously addicting. This book is flawlessly and poignantly written—Cole Nash and Silver Queens’ bittersweet love story from the Royal Elite series, which is the sixth book in the series. Their story touched me in so many deep-seated ways that I was completely sucked into the vortex of the rich/powerful, and I feel like I just got off a crazy wild roller coaster ride from hell! There were several surprises that were one hell of a way to blow your mind—I was flabbergasted with the unexpected revelations that happened, but it is jaw-dropping good! Not all of its surprises are pleasant ones, but there is a certain satisfaction in experiencing a thread that is so obstinately unexpected. RUTHLESS EMPIRE was so intriguing with its twists and turns—some you see coming, some you don’t. With all the things going on with Cole and Silver, I was holding my breathe because it was a tangled mess of lies and secrets. It was amazing and my blood was pumping like crazy reading this story. I felt everything Cole and Silver were going through down in my soul. I was captivated from start to finish! Cole is tall, handsome, very swoon worthy, sexy as hell, but chaos in its truest form. Cole is also a person that is mysterious, cold at times, nerdy, and uses mind games. Silver is the beautiful prim and proper girl who would never do anything to embarrass her parents, but she was also cruel to her best friend Kim and is referred to as fake and Queen B by those in school. Silver is a person who you hated because of her attitude, but after reading this story, my opinion changed. Cole and Silver has a love/hate relationship until something changed. They push and pull through the entire book making you question everything. Cole and Silver’s attraction and chemistry is so intense, alluring and mesmerizing, binding them to one another perfectly. Cole and Silver’s journey is full of deception, hurt, trust, lies, and secrets. They will fascinate you and frustrate you at the same time. Lines will be crossed, secrets will be revealed. Will Cole and Silver be able to get past all the abhorrent circumstances that caused a lot of pain? Rina Kent delivered a powerful, addictive, intriguing, emotional, and all-consuming story that left me obsessed and yearning for more. I highly RECOMMEND this book!
4 OUT OF 5 “CHAOS” STARS
I was waiting for Cole and Silver’s book since the first book in the series and I HAVE to say. It lived upto all expectations and HOW So brilliantly executed. The best book in the series.
Silver was rightfully known as the “bitch” by everyone throughout the whole series, but I always knew there was more to her. She’s such a amazing character. Bold. Strong and Unique. Cole’s obsession with her happens since they were kids, totally acceptable considering how amazing Silver is She’s his butterfly. Anyone would love her.
anddd Cole OMG Cole… my heart. my everything He’s my number one book boyfriend. Raw. Different. Messed up. The man is something else, Cole is the driving force of this book, each line in his POV is beautiful to read. Together him and Silver were more than perfect.
The only reason I gave this book a 4 star, not 5 is because of the plot twist at the end. It was unexpected which is good, I know- but it was kinda TOO MUCH considering how the book was going. It ruined some of the previous scenes. But regardless, still a great book. Great writing by Rina!
READ NOW: Ruthless Empire (Royal Elite Book 6) BY: Rina Kent
Holy crap. Rina Kent is one of the few people that can have me coming up with theories but question them the entire time I read. Silver and Cole’s story was one hell of a ride. The push and pull between and the heat oh man. No body breaks down those antiheroes like Ms Kent
Who doesn’t love a good blindside? Cole and Silver’s relationship throughout this whole series has been the definition of “it’s complicated”. Getting to see where it all started and watching it play out from each of their point of view gave me a greater understanding of who they really are. It was dark and twisted and had me second guessing myself up until the very end. I’m sad to see this incredible series come to an end, but these characters I’ve grown to love will stay with me forever.
This is the sixth book in the Royal Elite series, and the story of Cole, and Silver. As with all the books in this series, I loved this book, and I loved getting to read Cole, and Silvers journey. This was an amazing read, full of twists, and turns, lies, secrets, and deceit. This was well written, the characters have explosive chemistry, and their story kept me captivated. This was emotional, gritty, raw, dramatic, steamy, intense, dark, depraved, twisted, suspenseful, and mysterious. I highly recommend this series, and Cole, and Silvers story is a must read!
Book 6 in the Royal Elite books. Cole and Silver’s story. Silver has not been kind as we have seen through previous books. This is her redemption, but it isn’t going to be an easy road, especially if Cole has anything to do with it.
Cole is an enigma as we have seen in previous books. He’s silent and at times unfeeling. He is dark and complex and seems utterly obsessed with Silver, although he is never going to tell her that and instead play games with her.
This book is full of push and pull between the two main characters and I have to say that although there were times that Silver looked to be redeeming herself, she also made her life a lot harder than it needed to be. Hiding behind a cracking facade, she keeps you on your toes as a reader as although you feel empathy for her, there are times where she is just not a nice person!
This book has a lot going on in it, not only do we have a lot of backstory going on. We also have the duel story of Silver and Cole and how they see and react to things, which can often be cruel, twisted and without thought to the consequences.
This book is certainly going to keep you turning the page to figure out how the King and Queen are going to play with each other as well as other players on the board.
ARC received for a fair, honest and sometimes long review
More of my reviews can be found on my blog: http://thehotmesslibrary.blogspot.com
This is the last book in the series. This is Cole and Silver’s story. All I can say is wow watch out for the quiet ones. I think each couple’s story gets darker and darker. Cole and Silver’s story is the darkest and most twisted story of all. Their story captured my attention through out the whole series and now I get all the pieces and so much more from the glimpses of these two in the other books. Just when I think I figured things out I’m thrown for a loop. This book is full of angst, steamy and hot scenes between these two, twists, family drama and a crazy stalker. I’m a bit sad this is the last book, but look forward to the epilogue.
I received an ARC and volunteered to leave a review.
Originally 4.5 but Listed as 4 Stars, but the Audiobook made this Book Even More Enjoyable!

That Second Epilogue IS E.V.E.R.Y.T.H.I.N.G!!!
The Audio Made This Book Darker & Cemented Silver & Coles Relationship Even More! and it was Simply Perfect.
I Actually have to say that I’m glad that I read the Book first & Heard the Audio Second because then I could sit back and listen and visualize the story even more, already knowing what’s going to happen, but you find yourself catching pieces you might’ve unknowingly missed the first time like you do when you watch a movie over and over.
I Can’t Praise This Audio Enough. Such a Memorable Audio!

I Definitely Suggests reading this Series in order, but you can read this one as a Standalone.
I will continuously reread this book over and over again, there were surprises around every single corner!
I Really Didn’t Want This Book to End!!
But it did feel a tad bit rushed near the last half, cause I was a tad confused here and there. I personally would’ve preferred their book to be a duet rather than a single book.
I Highly Anticipate the Upcoming Epilogue Novella & I Desperately NEED Jonathan King’s Books Now!!
I Seriously hope that the Other Dad’s Get Books as well!
Wow, Wow, Wow! Always watch out for the quiet ones! Ruthless Empire is fantastic!
Cunning, full of stealth, and super strategic both Cole Nash and Silver Queens are powerhouses in the mental games they have played over the years. Both Cole and Silver may be masters at manipulating others, but when it comes to the game of the heart it takes more than quiet execution, it requires total domination and neither are ready to lose.
Whether you are familiar with their characters or not you will absolutely love the Royal Elite world told through their eyes. I couldn’t stop turning the pages to find out how the war was going to be won, but honestly they were fighting more than a war they were battling to own the other’s soul.
Both Cole and Silver are excellent players in the games they play. While Cole happens to be just a bit better, the pure stubbornness of Silver makes it so she never gives up which makes her a formidable opponent, something that Cole really admires in her. There are subtle differences between them such as, Cole is truly after her heart from the very beginning, he may not do it in the heart and flowers kind of way, but frankly Silver isn’t exactly a hearts and flowers kind of girl. That doesn’t stop her from believing she wants to be showered with devotion, but deep down she actually likes Cole’s depravity, something she would never admit to him because it’s like admitting defeat. This in turn continues his games which continues her denial which continues their vicious circle. Yeah, their dynamic is sort of screwed up, but it is also intoxicating and makes Ruthless Empire a ramped up, page-turning read. It made my heart race until the very last page and I loved every juicy minute of it.
Cole battles with some of his own personal demons, but I’d say not as much as Silver does. She is hit from a lot of different angles by being the daughter of a man who potentially could be the next Prime Minister and on top of it her mother isn’t exactly the most emotionally stable person in her life. The pressure to always be perfect sits heavy on her shoulders every single day. Then when her father marries Cole’s mother, the hidden feelings Silver is harboring for him are even more forbidden now that he’s her stepbrother. Living in the spotlight has its drawbacks and Silver feels torn all the time. Rina gave a really good sense of the scrutiny and guilt that Silver put on herself by being a public figure and living in the social media spotlight. If you did read the previous books and perhaps didn’t like Silver I think you will have a different view of her after reading this book.
Another thing I loved about Ruthless Empire is how their entire story wove in and out of the previous books timelines. It hinted at past plots – giving us enough of a reference to other characters to keep the current plot moving forward, but also giving us a reference to the past that us greedy readers crave, especially when it’s a direct story reference and now told from another character’s POV. I personally eat that kind of stuff up any chance I get, so thank you when it happens.
Ruthless Empire is about redemption, love, dark desires, but also contains mystery, murder, and politics. This book is jammed packed with so much, but it also is kept my heart racing until the very end.
I love this couple together, and while it’s hard to pick a favorite, they are one of my favorite couples together. They understand and complete one another from a very early age and I really liked that about them.
While this may be the last novel about the four kingsmen in this series, there are certainly more interconnected books and novellas coming from Rina Kent. I’m looking forward to hearing more updates about these possessive guys and their family in the future.
I have NO WORDS! I devoured every word and dropped everything to finish it. Even knowing from the beginning that Cole and Silver were going to be a thing, I never could have guessed the twists and turns this book was going to take. I’m not going to spoil one second of it. Everyone needs to read every single word of this masterpiece. I honestly can’t decide at this point which of Rina’s filthy men I like best. Ronan still might hold my top spot as the filthiest, but that’s because he hides it so well. We all knew Cole was barely hiding his beast behind all that control… Silver is his match in every way. This is a one click read you don’t want to miss!
I absolutely loved this book. Cole and Silver’s book was amazing and I couldn’t put it down once I started reading it. This book is dark, twisted and in my opinion the best one in this series. Cole and Silver both have to deal with family drama, secrets, lies, and some betrayal. The relationship that these two have is a push and pull relationship where Silver keeps pushing Cole away and Cole pulling Silver closer to being his. This book is full of twists and turns that will you keep you on the edge of your seat while reading this and of course the other characters from the other Royal Elite Series books make there appearance in this book and the banter between all of them is great. I can’t wait to see what Rina writes next.
I have been counting down the days for this book as I have been most intrigued by Cole and also because this author is a master at creating dark romances that are both original and gripping. Ruthless Empire is a story that will take you on a wild journey with compelling characters and intricate plot complete with suspense, heartbreak, steam, angst, hope, and love.
In keeping things relatively vague, I wasn’t sure I would like Silver as she as she was portrayed as the Queen B / ice queen in the previous books. However, this girl won me over. Sure, she has her flaws and makes some erroneous choices, but she is also heroine that has so much more to her. As for Cole, he has been the most mysterious of all the Horsemen in this series. He is exceptionally intelligent, calculating, and enjoys mind games. This complex hero seeks the calm in the chaos and is by far one of this author’s most interesting characters to date. Getting inside his head was fascinating. Both Silver and Cole have many layers to them and they just work as a couple. There were moments where I was thinking they need to run away from each other and other times where I thought they were exactly what each other needed.
One of the hallmarks of this author’s works is weaving in those dark undertones and an aura of mystery and suspense. This isn’t just a love story, but rather a story that has a compelling plot line that was perfectly executed. There was an unexpected twist and the build up to that revelation was spot on.
Ruthless Empire is book 6 in this author’s Royal Elite series. It can, in theory, be read as a standalone, but for the ultimate experience and enjoyment, I recommend reading the entire series.
Overall Rating: 4.5 stars
ARC provided in exchange for an honest review
I read this book two times! At first, it was like, not much for me, because SilverCole crumbs from previous book, got me building this different expectation on them than what we got with Ruthless Empire. But then after two reads, it was good!
Lemme tell you sum. I was in that very dark dark mood when I read this, so I suspect something dark even between SilverCole. I was expecting Cole to be Aiden 2.0 and much scarier because that is how he was portrayed throughout previous books. And then, it surprises me that SilverCole aren’t that dark and they’re pretty much have mutual interest towards each other and so much more to their character.
It was the situation around them that make it dark. The fact that they are step-siblings and having to hide so it was sort of forbidden romance. But I’m glad Silver didn’t annoy me as much as Elsa did. She was quick to fall for Cole and acknowledge it.
You know how Royal Elite always has this dark twist in the plot, right? And for Ruthless Empire, I’m so glad I didn’t see it coming. I really didn’t expect that person is behind all of the creepy chapters. It was a good plot twist.
Oh, lastly… with Aiden, there’s not much softness in him but Cole? Expect him to give you butterflies with the way he cares. uwu
Cole Nash! He was the one who intrigued me the most, he was the one I found most unreadable out of them all, he was the one who sparked something in me, he was the one I fell for.
Him and Silver were amazing together. She was labeled as an ice queen in previous books, but in Ruthless Empire we meet the real Silver. She’s gorgeous, inside and outside. And she couldn’t be more perfect for Cole. Silver cares, but she’d never show it. Cole pretends to care, but doesn’t give a damn. She never submits to him, she always challenges him. And it’s exactly what he needs.
Cole, the silent type, and also the deadliest. Cool demeanor, but always plotting on the inside. Seems without a care, but he’s always ten steps ahead of all. Reading, but also watching every step of every human being.
And there’s this mystery that blew my mind. I wasn’t expecting it at all. Masterful!
Whatever this author writes, becomes my favourite book of all times. She writes like a true poet warrior, she has this almost poetic way with words, she lulls you in with the first sentence of the first chapter. Her writing is tragicaly beautiful, her stories are always angsty and intense, she’s an emotional terrorist, and every single time she delivers a brilliant dark masterpiece!
All the stars in my world!
She was the girl in the park who was devastated by the news her parents bestowed upon her.
He was the boy who over her spilled tears gave her the promise to be each other’s firsts in everything.
They may of been young, they might of been innocent but promises are everything and if she should break them he will rain down merry hell upon her!
Wowsers what a way to end this series!
The previous books have each followed a different horsemen. He is the last to step into the spotlight.
Sit back, relax and enjoy the ride folks just watch out for the sharp curves and bumps along the way.
This book has a splash of everything. From angst, and drama, to darkness and light. There are so many emotions swirling around the pages.
Cole is a fantastic character. You see him but you dont know him, and that makes him all the more interesting.
Silver has pushed everyone away in order to creates the Queens persona. I really felt for her even though outwardly she is as cold as ice.
There is a truth that hangs in the air between their lies, and it’s truly spectacular.
Their moments of peace and hours of chaos are delectable. I was riveted.
The royal elite books have brought me so much pleasure and enjoyment.
I’ve loved each of the horsemen and their captivating souls.
I can’t wait to read both the closing novella later this year and get up close and personal with Aidens father Jonathan King. Exciting things are coming from Rina Kent!!
I don’t even know where to begin with this book, was waiting for it since Vicious Prince and now that its here i don’t know what to do with myself now that its finished. This series has to be one of my favorite ever series. So much so that i got it all on paperback and because two of the series wasn’t available in australia i had to have it shipped to nz and then to me so shipping cost me a lung but damm i needed all these babies.
This book is part 6 of The Royal Elite series, it can be read as a stand alone but i highly recommend you read the rest of the series.
Cole has always been a mystery and you know something dark lurks in his mind. Like a lot of people that have followed this series Silver was not someone that we wanted with our boy Cole, as simple as i can put it she was a bitch lol but once you start reading this book she starts to warm to you and you see why she is the way she is you start to feel for her and you get what she is about . You also find out why Cole is the way he is. Both as tormented as each other. I loved being finally able to see into Coles secretive and tormented mind. Both have been each others Chaos for a long while and things got way more complicated when her father and his mother marry and suddenly they are step siblings. But no matter how much they fight and tear each other to shreds with their words the sexual tension and attraction is on fire and cannot be denied even for them the more they try to deny it the worse it becomes. This book had it all the mystery the secrets the passion the debauchery the forbidden the hotness god dam it was hot as hell in this book, the heartbreak the jealousy and so much more. Once again Rina draws you into the Royal Elite world and takes you on one hell of a rollercoaster ride of emotions.
Loved seeing Xander and Ronan and Aiden again especially Ronan brings laughter where ever he goes, trust Ronan to make me spit my coffee out with laughter when something comes out of his mouth. I loved every second of this book and am very sad to see it end .This is the final of the series apart from the upcoming Epilogue. Then we start the Reign of Kind duet woohoo bring on Jonathon Kings story. Once i started this book i couldn’t put it down till the last page loved every second of it. Can’t wait for the paperback to be in my hands.
