I’m a planner. I like to know what’s coming next. I plan my days, my holidays, my love life.Which is why, when my fiancé, Paul, unplanned our holiday—and our entire future—just before Christmas, it felt like everything was slipping out of my control. But I didn’t panic. Instead? I planned.I figured a trip home to Oregon to see my family for the holidays would help me forget my failed engagement. … my family for the holidays would help me forget my failed engagement. Or at provide distraction in the form of Mom’s sugar cookies.
The only thing is—you can’t plan the weather. And as soon as I checked in for my flight, my plans were screwed again, and instead of going home for Christmas, it looked like I’d be spending Christmas eve snowed in and all alone at the airport.
When a tall, rugged Irishman offers to distract me, first with chocolate, and then with a drink, and then with… other things… I realize that maybe it’s okay to leave things a little unplanned now and then.
Let it Snow is a standalone holiday novella that was first published as A Holiday Delay. It has been rewritten and re-edited.

Dixie and Brogan are stranded at the airport during a snow storm, unable to make it out to see their respective families for Christmas. They manage to have coffee and a dinner date, buy presents for each other, swap gifts in front of a Christmas tree, and have a steamy interlude in a broom closet. I love this holiday romance, seeing these two with their incredible chemistry, heading for a happy-for-now, with the promise of more.

Nice little short story. Everyone’s nightmare, not being able to make it home for Christmas and stuck in an airport with complete strangers. Well when life sends you lemons…or in this case a mouth watering hunk let’s just say “merry Christmas to me!” Enjoy this little gem.

Let it Snow is like a great quickie! Sweet, fun, sexy, and leaves you very satisfied. I’m normally not a novella fan because they seem rushed or incomplete, but Delancey Stewart did a great job with Dixie and Brogan.
~ I was given this book and made no commitments to leave my opinions, favorable or otherwise~
Never have the idea of being stranded at the airport felt more tempting. I’m loving this novella about the two strangers finding themselves stuck on Christmas Eve with nowhere to go and a growing attraction.
It’s funny and addictive and I would love to read more about them. As much as I hate blizzards I now kind of want to be in the middle of one as long as the company is this attractive and attentive to all my needs.
You will never be led astray by this author. A perfect holiday read.
Brogan and Dixie meet while stranded at the airport. She is going home and is upset because she might not see her grandma before she passes away. The connection between the two is instant and neither wants their time together to end.
In a short amount of time, they learn as much about each other as they can and act in their attraction. When the weather clears, they have a decision to make. Admit they want to continue to get to know each other or walk away.
A wonderful Christmas novella. I received ah ARC in exchange for an honest, voluntary review.

This story makes me want to hang out in an airport! Reeling from the end of a recent relationship, over-planner Dixie decides to take a spur of the moment trip home for the holidays. A snowstorm hits and she’s stuck in her regional Maryland airport until flights are back in the air. Luckily, she has hunky Irishman Brogan there to keep her company. Can two strangers find love over the course of a snowy day – and night?
I enjoyed this story, It was a quick read and is perfect for when you just want to relax and turn off the world for a little while. It’s not a heavy story, it’s fun, a bit whimsical, and takes a potentially miserable situation and turns it into something enjoyable. This is going on my holiday re-read for next year when I need to relax and unwind!
*I received an early copy of this book and am posting my honest opinion.*
Two sad stories.
On Christmas. Can two down and outters find a measure of joy when drowning their shared sorrows?
A very quick read. Dixie and Brogan are gonna find out.

Great Christmas romance with Dixie who has just had her engagement broken off by her fiancee and decides to go home for the holidays but get snowed in at the airport where she meets sexy irishman Brogan. Loved their chemistry and their characters in this well written short romance.

Dixie and Brogan meet when they are stranded together at the airport. Their relationship takes place during that time with the potential of more at the end. This was not a clean romance.
Always awkward when a loved one dumps you right before a holiday. Arrangements have been made. You might be looking forward to seeing folks you’ve thought of as family- this whole group of family and connections suddenly gone to you.
In this case, she decides to go home to her folks for some holiday cheering up after the now ex changes their plans. Except fate has a snow storm and travel delays planned.
Maybe a hot Irishman is just the distraction she really needs.

Dixie plans everything, her days, her holidays, her love life yes everything. When her fiance decided to unplan their holidays and their future what was she to do? She planned, a trip back home, nothing can go wrong by going home right? Well you can’t plan what the weather will do, and when you’re stuck at the airport due to a blizzard your plans change. Now she’ll spend Christmas eve at the airport all alone, that is until Brogan, a handsome Irish man, decides to distract her from her screwed up plans. A great novella of two strangers being stuck in the same place during a blizzard with no where to go, being attracted to each other, and having definite chemistry. A short read that’s perfect for the holiday season.

Very interesting & entertaining storyline. She’s definitely not looking for love but he definitely has his eyes on this gift. Being dumped and stranded she is a bit grumpy. Their circumstances and the magic of Christmas snow help them both open up to new possibilities. I really like how he boldly yet sweetly make his interest in her obvious. Enjoyed this, made me smile. Good, simple and tender
3,5
This romance is well written, cute, simple, short, tender, with very good characters, Dixie and Brogan who meet because they got stuck in an airport whose flights were canceled because of the snow. They are very attracted, but this situation which seems temporary does not correspond to their temperament and they do not know how to act.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book
