Mac Travis went to the Florida Keys to disappear, but his new commercial diving job turns out to be more than he planned. An artifact discovered while working on a bridge pier quickly draws the attention of a real estate tycoon, a Jersey mobster and twin Indian Chiefs all trying to open a casino in the pristine Keys. When his psycho ex-girlfriend tracks him down things get even more interesting.
… interesting.

EDITORIAL REVIEWS
“A riveting tale of intrigue and terrorism, Key West characters in their full glory! Fast paced and continually changing direction Mr Becker has me hooked on his skillful and adventurous tales from the Conch Republic!” – Amazon Review
“Read this book in one day. The scenes move, and I mean fast. Anything goes in the Florida Keys, and this story captures the essence. Good descriptions, unique characters and a plot that could be taken from the news headlines. I’m a fan of Florida fiction and Steven Becker is now on my “to-read” list” – Ed Robinson – Author of Leap Of Faith/Quit Your Job And Live On A Boat

Strange story, not very coherent
I have read every book in this series. Love the characters and there’s always a great twist to the stories. Would highly recommend.
I liked the descriptions and attention to detail of the process of rebuilding the bridge and using the heavy equipment. These are men that work with their hands and their heads. Very impressive characters.
Worth reading and was entertaining.
simply a good read
Enjoyable read, page turner.
Very good read
The ending left a lit.
I’m just having trouble getting into it. If I could read a chapter or two that might do it , but unfortunately, there is always another book that grabs me and sucks me into its pages.
I liked the book because it was easy to read and had a story line that dealt with historical fiction. I would read more of this series as they become available.
Woods relic is an early Mac Travis tale that has mobsters, casino wanna be’ s and a crazy mistake girl friend. One thing about Steven Becker’s writing is his descriptions of Keys life is spot on. Not the Key Weird life style but the middle keys Conch native lifestyle. I enjoy all of his and Wayne Stinnet’s books.
I wanted to see how it could be resolved
Ending twisted
Good reading
