I NEED THE NEXT BOOK NOW. Absolutely 100% hooked. Isola and her sexy dragon guards return home to fight for what is truly Isola’s, but it won’t be easy. Secrets are revealed and Isola’s is once again betrayed. Danger surrounds them no matter where they go. The ending ugh I need to know what’s gonna happen. An amazing read that had me hooked from start to end.
Book 3 of the Protected by Dragons series by G Bailey was everything I wanted (except the ending!!!!) and more. I loved the progress in the storyline with the Seers, with the dragon guard curse, and with Issy’s light powers. I thought it was cool what Issy and Bee could do, but wasn’t exactly happy she fast forwarded all that time like that before the first trial. I also wasn’t shocked by the curse solution but liked how it was done nonetheless. I am intrigued by this series’ connection with Winter, so that will be fun to watch. I loved Cor’s family and some twists we didnt see coming, I wanted to slap Elias so badly, and want her Dagan time ASAP haha. I thought the mix of action and flashbacks was perfect, and hope there is more dragon time in future books. I felt bad for Tata, but she needed to be strong and not let the dark turn her evil. I am intrigued by the dark spirit since I think it was meant to or will be Issy’s at some point. Overall, 4.5 stars for the story and am dying for books 4 and 5 on audio
Narration was spot on again. Loved the dragon voices, the spirit voices, and the new characters we get to meet. I think both narrators are officially on my “definitely will listen” list because they are doing a fabulous job on this series. Love!!
Still highly recommend this series, wish books 4 and 5 were on audio to make this series complete. Hopefully it gets done and we arent left hanging.
Well once again this started out okay but then got better.
Another cliffhanger ending. Ugh why does she do that to us?
Thorne is still on the bad list but he is starting to come around now that he has redeemed himself. Of the other guys I am still in the air about liking them, though Elias is my favorite if I had to choose.
I will probably start the fourth book later. I have a couple other books I need to finish. I may start it next week at the earliest.
What an ending!! Everything builds to this amazing peak and off purse it has to cut off there just to keep you guessing until the next book comes out. There is great development for the story with lots of growth for Isola, her men, and the adorable Bea. The balance with the dark makes sense and opens so many avenues for this story to take. I look forward to finding out which one it is in later installments. If you love dragons, magic, and RH then you should really try these. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.
Isola is on the hunt for a cure and a way to break the curse. I like that she doesn’t just get over Thorne’s betrayal, but still is giving him a chance. I like that the relationships have realistic challenges, and how they work through them there is also action, intrigue, and drama. I can’t wait for the next book, Wings of Fate!
