Wicked Intentions – Reverse Harem Academy Romance by Nikki Landis is a wonderful story to read. This is book number one in this wonderful start to a brand new series and I can not wait to read book number two. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about fantasy and paranormal romances.

I’ll be honest, I don’t read many witch or magic books. Very few as a matter of fact but when I heard Nikki Landis had the beginning of a new series, I couldn’t wait to see what it was and what it had to offer. It set a quick, intriguing pace in the first chapter and didn’t slow down throughout the entire storyline. There’s intrigue and adventure, pain and sorrow, friendship and love, good and evil, vampires and magic. The plot is steadily building throughout while the more secrets that are revealed, the more questions come to light. This is a compelling story with characters you will automatically be able to relate to. I can’t wait to see where she takes us next.
Nikki Landis penned another remarkable paranormal suspense thriller. This one includes extremely good looking supernatural guys and Cora, the badass witch they all love. The intensely handsome Bradford brothers are witches with special powers that complement each other, and both have intense desires for Cora. Oh, and they are twins; enter Rex, half-witch, and a half-vampire who also has deep passions for Cora. The steam factor will increase in future books in this series.
Though a quick read, the storyline and characters develop quickly. There is action through magical battles, suspense, mystery, twists, romance, and hints of steamy romance to come. All of which makes me look forward to the next book in the series.

“Wicked Intentions” the fist installment in Nikki Landis’ “Five Realms Academy” and the origin of the Coraline Blackbyrne novels. This is a reverse harem paranormal story set in an urban fantasy world
Coraline Blackbyrne (FMC) has grown up in the system, with little social interaction apart from Sarah, her social worker. But as she is placed in Bradord House, it really seems as Coraline has finally found a family of her own. Corrine, Colin, Casey even Rex, rapidly become friends, but there is some hidden truths Coraline don’t know about. In this first book in the series, she would not only find the truth about her own nature (she is a witch) and her past, but she would also discover her fate, all of them wrapped into the constant attention of the boys.
A well written story with full-fleshed out characters, a well-crafted world, an enjoyable plot, some suspense a very generous dose of paranormal romance, after all this is a rather steamy reverse harem story, and enough twist and unexpected situations to keep the reader interested from start to finish.
This was a good read. I loved the characters and the storyline. This book grabbed me and kept me throughout the book. I didn’t want to put down. I definitely recommend.

Our heroine is used to taking care of herself, but she doesn’t mind a little help once in a while. So when three guys all side with her, who is she to turn them away?
This is an urban fantasy/paranormal romance story with a reverse harem theme. The story is very well written and easy to read while populated with a diverse cast of equally well written characters. The plot is full of twists and turns which keep the reader on their toes and the world is slowly revealed as the narrative proceeds. As the first book in the series, we don’t get all the answers, but we get enough details to fill out the story and leave us wanting more. So I fell for that trap and definitely want to read the next book.
Highly recommended.

Nikki Landis bring us the start of a wicked good series! Cora Blackbyrne has spent time growing up in the foster system, and it made her one heck of a fighter and determined to survive. With nightmares and magic she becomes a person who keeps going and never looks back. When her new foster home brings her a new BFF and three men she doesn’t know how to interpret completely, her world goes into a fast paced spiral that you can’t put down.
Once I started I couldn’t walk away, Nikki knows how to make a magical filled world that will entrap your entire attention. I so can not wait for book two and to see Cora grow even more as a person!

I CAN’T WAIT FOR THE NEXT BOOK
I received this book for free and am giving my honest and voluntary review
Cora is an orphan that has been moved around from family to family because she is different. She winds up with a family that she can adjust with, the Bradfords, and begins to feel at ease. She meets Rex Henshaw and they become bonded. This story is a paranormal one and is the launching point of the series of witches and other supernatural beings fighting a good versus evil battle for Cora’s life.
Cora Blackbyrne has been in the foster system for 10 years. Mr. Fisher, her fifth “father figure”, was demanding answers to his questions about a fire and smacked her hard across the face several times when she didn’t answer, her blood spattering all over the carpet. He finally called her social worker to remove her from the house, which was a relief because of the abuse she had suffered at their hands. Sarah picked her up and took her to a hotel until she could arrange for the next home. This time Sarah tells her about a family with another daughter her age who needs a companion. Others have picked on the girl and she doesn’t make friends easily. Sarah allows Cora to decide whether she wants to live with the Bradford family or not. She decided no one else would want a teenager, so she would go to please Sarah.
Cora meets Corrine, whom she likes immediately, and Casey, Corrine’s older brother. Casey’s odd behavior, especially when he kissed her, makes her nervous and she senses perhaps magic in him? He was dark and mysterious, and she knew she had to stay away from him. Cora colored and cut Corrine’s hair and added some makeup. Then another male voice called out to Corrine and she was introduced to Casey’s twin brother, Colin, whose temperament was very different from Casey’s.
As Cora excused herself from the dinner table and started upstairs, the power went out. She felt along the wall to her room, but it felt like she wasn’t alone as a storm raged outside. A bright flash of lightning exposed a man wearing a dark billowing cloak and standing in front of her open window! She screamed and the man was gone and the window closed again. Colin burst through the locked door and held her close. He made her feel safe, and he promised he would protect her. Her own powers would keep her safe, but she still appreciated his reassurance. He left and as she walked toward the bathroom, past the window, the carpet there was soaked – it had all been real!
This book is so intriguing that it will instantly pull the reader into this intense, action-packed story! Casey and Colin Bradford are witches with special powers and duties. Both of them desire Cora. When Cora meets the half-witch, half-vampire Rex at a party, she is attracted to him as well. Will the three young men be there for her when she needs them most? Will she have the power she needs to fight the evil that is coming? Seriously, you won’t want to miss this book! It is written so well and will literally keep you on the edge of your seat!

She finally had enough at the last house she is out and has to call her caseworker to come get her. She is given one more family to live with to finish out her school. Her caseworker has one last home for her to go to. This family has money and she is not sure if this will work. Once she gets there, she knows that something is weird. She finds out that they are keeping things from her except for Rex. He is the only one telling her anything. She finds out loads of stuff about her past and who she is. This book sets up the series to come. I love all the characters and I cannot wait to see how they develop. I definitely would like to see more come from Rex, Colin and Casey and how their relationship will develop. So if you are wanting to read smexy times, this book does not have it but has the set up for it. This series should be pretty interesting.
