The “heartstopping” conclusion to the USA Today bestselling White Monarch series.I’ve become a queen to the forsaken, a leader to thieves, and the wife of a man who instills fear in all who cross his path. He was the husband I didn’t want. Now, I can’t fathom life without my king.I should’ve been ready for anything. Like the caterpillar that feeds on poison during metamorphosis, I was raised in … feeds on poison during metamorphosis, I was raised in the dangerous world of cartel crime. But nothing could’ve prepared me for Cristiano de la Rosa, his brother’s poison, or the Calavera cartel.
This is still a story about a love strong enough to topple households, unite enemies, and divide brothers. Resilient enough to bring down those who would try to destroy it . . . and selfless enough to make the ultimate sacrifice.
But I was warned, and so were you. Death’s day always comes. This time, it will find what was once a caterpillar is now a butterfly—and hell hath no fury like the White Monarch.

The final book in the trilogy is here!! You do not want to miss this!!!
What an explosive finale!!!
This one had it all! Action, twists, swoon worthy moments, SEXY times galore, and nestled underneath all of that the culmination of a love story that has been brewing for two books.
I absolutely loved Natalia’s transformation throughout this series. Her strength, confidence, and courage grew so much, especially in this final book. Cristiano has been a strong and confident man for a while, with a very dirty mouth, (ha,) and a brush with death and acceptance and trust from the one he wants it most from gave us a softer side of him this time, which I appreciated. The pacing of the book was spot on and had me hanging on to my seat to see how this would play out since we were warned from the beginning that death was imminent.
Great conclusion! Books MUST be read in order.
With a racing heart and hope in my veins, the saga of the de la Rosa and Cruz families, and the last book in the Monarch series, Violent Triumphs, lives up to its title and does not disappoint. Jessica Hawkins has woven a tale filled with grit and passion, dark and light, trust and betrayal.
My excitement rose with each chapter. The twists, turns, who to trust and most excitedly, the growing and deep love between Cristiano and Natalia intensified on each page. Their mutual respect for one another increased the tone of the story. It may have been dark, but the lights shown brightly.
And that’s all you’ll get from me. It’s a fantastic story and a perfect conclusion to the trilogy. But start at the beginning with Violent Delights and then move next to Violent Ends. You cannot read Violent Triumphs and get the full impact without them. Go in as blind as possible and enjoy the bumpy yet delightful ride!
Finally! The conclusion in Jessica Hawkins’ trilogy is here. I loved the slow burn of the passion between Cristiano and Natalia in this enemies-to-lovers romance.
Oh my goodness! Talk about a page turner! It’s a suspenseful cartel romance and I am HERE FOR IT! Get it guys! You’re going to love this trilogy!
Omg, what a thrilling, emotional and sexy conclusion to the White Monarch series! After the alarming way Hawkins left us at the end of book two, I couldn’t wait to find out where this story would go from there! Well I was not disappointed that this story picks right up where Violent Ends left off and hit the ground running. I was holding my breath throughout the opening chapters! I am so in awe of Natalia and how strong, brave, and resilient she is. I loved seeing how she morphs into a queen worthy of her king. That includes how she infuses herself with the people and the world she previously fought to escape. It has always been Cristiano who saw her for who she truly was. His dominance made her feel safe and cherished, and gave her the courage to grow in strength and love. The way their relationship evolved, and the loyalty and love they shared was epic. But that is also their weakness that could get them all killed. The many twists and turns this gripping story took were so unexpected, and had me totally captivated! The ending blindsided me and was so thrilling, raw, and breathtaking! This story is so beautifully written and so seductive, that I just wasn’t ready for it to end. I really loved this whole series! Bravo!
Every time I see one of the covers of this series, I want to jump up and down with joy. This cartel romance has rave reviews and this trilogy is now COMPLETE!!!!
My heart!!!! Bra-vo!!! This book was such a joy to read! From beginning to end, it kept me going and wanting more. The connection between Cristiano and Natalia was phenomenally written! The intimate scenes we all craved from books 1 and 2 were hot, hot, hot! I’m talking, Kindle-melting hot. I laughed, I gasped, I chewed all my nails off.
This author is proving herself to be a ruiner of my heart because she played with it so masterfully. I loved how the side characters were as much a part of the story as the 2 main characters, and I hope we get books for some of those characters. How she wove in minute details from prior books was fantastic.
Amazing end to an amazing trilogy!
Book 3 in a complete trilogy, binge-read, enemies-to-lovers, arranged marriage, cartel romance, slow burn, angst, sexy.
This was the best book out of the series.
I was on the edge of my seat the whole story. The business, the love, the betrayal all led to an amazing ending for this book.
Ahhhhh!!!!! I loved how these characters grew in this book. Natalia and Cristiano were utter perfection in this story. Strong and vulnerable made you fall in love with both of them. Natalia really annoyed me in the first two books. I’m pretty sure my review says that lol but in this books she redeems her 100%. She’s just everything she was supposed to be and I love the way she got there in this book. Cristiano, oh man!!!! He was everything! Every single thing given to us about him in the book makes me feel complete from the lack of him in the first two books. It was just perfect. He was! I wish I could say more but his love is what makes woman hold out hope to find.
BUT Y’ALL!!!!!!!!!!!! That ending!!!!!!! That ENDING!!!!! Just get ready!
Such an amazing way to end Christiano and Natalia’s story!!!
Natalia and Christiano come full circle and realize that despite how unconventional their marriage is…it’s no longer just a marriage of convenience…bug will it again the ultimate yeah when an old enemy wears their ugly head at them…will they survive the fallout??
Amazing story that kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time, crying at various times, and had me swooning so hard at the lengths to which they would go to define their feelings that are far from what it originally seemed.
So many more than 5 stars!!
Absolutely loved the final installment of the White Monarch trilogy! Jessica Hawkins is the reigning queen of angst and this story is proof. So many twists and turns to keep readers turning those pages and oh, the feels! Cristiano and Natalia are the new David and Olivia. Jessica Hawkins is a masterful story-teller, world builder and character developer.
Cristiano & Natalia are EVERYTHING! Elizabeth @ Carolina Chic’s Read

5 Everything Stars!!!
~ No Spoiler Review~
Wow! What an epic conclusion to the White Monarch trilogy! Everyone who has been following this trilogy just about died at the end of book 2, and everyone’s minds were going crazy with thoughts on what was going to roll out in book 3. Jessica delivers to us big time!
This story is gritty and raw and unforgiving sometimes, but there is also a lot of beauty and love and passion and loyalty. Cristiano and Natalia, they are a force to be reckoned with.
Jessica did an amazing job of turning the tables from the reader being all about Diego the hero in book one with Cristiano being the devil, to slowly changing our minds in book 2, to totally making us fall in love with Cristiano in Violent Triumphs. The love between Cristiano and Natalia felt fast, but slow at the same time, a love that has been simmering under the surface for a long time. Natalia didn’t want to acknowledge that it was there because of Diego, but once the blinders were pulled off, she realized who her feelings truly belonged to.
Cristiano, man oh man! He was such an unspoken hero! Someone who had the worst of reputations even though he was anything but what people called him. Yes, he did bad things along the way, but only to those who deserved it.
I could not put this book down! I was glued to the pages, wanting to read as fast as I could but also savor everything I read. I know I will still be thinking about Cristiano and Natalia long after I’ve read countless other books. Wow…just wow! I can’t believe the journey is over!
I feel violated by this book in the best kind of way. Jessica managed to tore my heart out several times throughout the book with what she had in store for Natalia and Cristiano…This book is bold, it’s daring, challenging and oh-so passionate!
Violent Triumphs is the third and last instalment in White Monarch series. After the cliffhanger Jessica left us with in the last book (I was seriously about to start climbing walls), the book starts off with a bang. It sets the fast pace for that the story keeps for major part of the book. First of all, I have to point out that I absolutely L O V E D the development of Natalia from a princess pawn to the queen she was destined to be. I’d say this is the most she has grown in the series. With Cristiano’s love and support she gained the confidence to fight for herself and those she hold close.
Second of all, I loved how it felt as if Cristiano didn’t really change, but more like let down his guard and just shown Natalia and us what we already knew – that he was very caring and compassionate towards the weaker ones. He is the good bad guy (yes, this book clearly gives you an example of good bad guys and bad bad guys) and my adoration for him grew really quickly.
It’s difficult to write a review without revealing any spoilers. Violent Triumphs includes some major plot twist that you won’t see coming. And when you feel like nothing can shock you anymore, Jessica will prove you wrong. I’m not joking when I say that this is one of the most intense stories I’ve ever read.
It was difficult saying goodbye to these characters I’ve fallen in love with over the course of the trilogy – I wish we could keep getting more and more of them. But alas, all the good things come to an end at some point. And even though this wasn’t kind of a story I had imagined Jessica would write, she aced it, proving how talented of a writer she really is.
Make sure to read the previous two books in the series before this 5 star triumph!
Violent Triumphs is the highly anticipated conclusion to Jessica Hawkins captivating White Monarch Trilogy and my goodness did this story pull on every one of my heart strings. Natalia Cruz and Cristiano de la Rosa have an undeniably stronger connection, one that has grown to EPIC proportions throughout every step of their complicated journey. Since the moment I met these two I have been head over heels ADDICTED to their love story, even if it was one sided for quite sometime.
Cristiano has wholeheartedly stolen every single inch of soul. He is the ultimate book boyfriend and I would give anything to have my very own carbon copy of him in real life (if only men like him actually existed). The sacrifices he made for his dear sweet Natalia, even when she denied him of his love for her, made my heart swoon in overdrive. I can still feel the butterflies fluttering around deep in the pit of my stomach…even days after reaching the end. Jessica Hawkins has truly outdone herself with this trilogy and I am so very sad to let these two go. Those heart-wrenching twists and turns will destroy you over and over again. I legit bawled my eyes out a time…or two (who the heck am I trying to fool, I cried more times then I can even begin to count) while devouring all those words.
Natalia Cruz and Cristiano de la Rosa’s romance is EVERYTHING…it is beyond monumental. Their love story is forever written in the stars and I shall never forget their journey.
The conclusion to the White Monarch series will have you gasping, cheering, throwing things, shocked to your core and praising Jessica Hawkins for her strides to tell a complete story in this series.
Having gone through this series with Cristiano and Natalia, you know they have been on an angst filled ride to find each other. Our interest is piqued to the point of us readers screaming and yelling for a “lil somethin, somethin”! But Jessica is a master at the slow burn that keeps those embers from dying out.
Seeing the character progression in Violent Triumphs will have you cheering on these characters. They are taking what they’ve learned in the previous two books and putting those lessons to WORK. We get to see Natalia coming into her own as a feisty Queen and even though she still has doubts of her own mindset; you know that she’s honestly coming to these conclusions on her own. And using her power to come into her self. It’s refreshing to see a character’s full progression and one of my favorite things to read in any series.
Most everyone will move to a Cristiano point here, about his masculine power, his dirty talk. That’s been heralded to the point you know it. What I want to mention is the progression of Jessica Hawkins. Having been around for a few years as a devoted reader of Jessica’s, I’ve seen her angst, her heart string pulling stories. I’ve followed her on social media and seen some sneak peeks of inspiration and the teases of the beginning of the White Monarch series. Reading this finale and knowing how she retold some of those aspects and made a new story created in a whole different world. It’s just incredibly inspiring to say the least. She has limitless talent as a writer and storyteller. She wove certain aspects of her favorite things into this story, but in a new, modern and refreshed way.
I had nothing to do with this story and nothing to do with Jessica’s talent, but I cannot help but feel like a proud reader to be able to come along on this ride with her. You can tell she poured her love and heart and soul onto these pages and I thank her for letting us in!
Violent Triumphs is the most anticipated conclusion to the Monarch Series. If you’re starting with this book, please stop and go to the beginning, Violent Delights. Where a soothsayer predicted that “I would die for the man I loved”, and die I did!
Ay, Dios Mio! Cristiano de la Rosa was dead! A gift from Belmonte-Ruiz, Mexico’s human trafficking ring was sending a message and did they ever! However, they weren’t counting on the caterpillar’s transformation into the butterfly. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned or the White Monarch! So much betrayal, murder, and mayhem.
There is a stairway to heaven or a highway to hell, and either one will take you where you need to go!
Violent Triumphs was not the way I anticipated the story to end, but leave it to Jessica Hawkins to make my journey that much more intriguing. A journey, similar to one taken by Monarch butterflies, butterflies are free to fly, fly away!
I read a lot of books. Listen to them, too.
All romance. All walking a fine line with the bad boys. Delicious alpha males that would do ANYTHING for their woman. A woman who is strong, beautiful and worth dying for.
The White Monarch series had me utterly captivated from day 1 – page 1. Jessica Hawkins is a STELLAR author. One of my favorites. NO ONE does angsty, beautiful, unique love stories like her.
She’s taken one of my absolute FAVORITE tropes – mafia/cartel etc. – and completely flipped the script. Ive completely fallen in love with Cristiano. He’s officially my favorite book boyfriend. Loyal, possessive, and loves FIERCELY – his passionate heart bleeds so purely and perfectly for one and ONLY one – his queen Natalia.
And Natalia. This woman blossomed throughout the series. All under Cristiano’s guide of letting her be herself. Giving her the tools, determination and knowledge to be a strong, perfect partner for him.
This series, but especially this book in particular, brought tears to my eyes multiple times. You INSTANTLY connect with the main characters from the very beginning – and to watch their journey unfold was nothing short of breathtaking. I actually had to wait a day in order to form the right words to convey just how amazing this book (and the entire series) was. I don’t even feel like I’m doing it any justice. All I know is.. This has now become my all time favorite series. Not just by this author. Not just this genre. Not just this year.
EVER.
Intense, passionate, stunning and unforgettable, the White Monarch series will be a HUGE recommendation from me, I’m sure for years to come. I’m so sad their story is over. I couldn’t read it fast enough, but at the same time I didn’t want to read fast because I knew it would be over sooner rather than later. This book hit me in all the feels, all the right places. Cristiano and Natalia are perfection. As is Jessica Hawkins.
Omg! Omg! Omg! What a phenomenal conclusion to such a beautiful, angst, intense, action filled, can’t wait to read what’s on the next page, gotta stay up all night, steamy enough to set your Kindle on fire series. I love, love, loved Cristiano and Natalia. Their love and devotion to one another was so deep and undying whether they wanted to admit it or not. I cried because it was so good and I didn’t want it to end. Jessica is one of my favorite authors. Can’t wait to discover more books by her.
