(The Santinos -Novella)An unexpected roommate. An unlikely partner. A match made in wine country.Jake Martelli’s busy-body relatives have pulled a fast one. They’ve humiliated the hunky San Francisco sportscaster by buying him in front of a sold-out crowd at the annual Sweetheart’s Auction. The geriatric mod squad own Jake now, and are forcing him to enter their small-town’s cockamamie dance … small-town’s cockamamie dance competition.
So far, they’ve tricked Jake into staying at their Napa Valley guest house with a beautiful woman from his past.
Poor Scarlett Halle has no idea she’s being set up.
The pretty baker with two left feet was only in town for a business deal. When her good friend offered her a free vacation home in wine country, Scarlett didn’t know Jake Martelli would be staying in the same house.
There isn’t much to do in this sleepy town, so when swoony Jake takes her in his arms and asks her to practice dancing with him, how can she say no?
The temporary roommates aren’t looking for partners, but it seems fate, and two quirky matchmakers have other plans.
Will Jake and Scarlett discover a three-minute tango is the dance of a lifetime?
If you enjoy tropes, Two to Tango covers several: Fish Out of Water, Accidental Roommate, Matchmaker, and Second Chance Romance. (Scarlett and Jake met before, years ago and have never forgotten each other.)

If you liked the movie The Holiday (Cameron Diaz & Jude Law) and watch Dancing with the Stars, imagine the setting in Napa Valley wine country and this is the story for you!

Back to wine country! Adorable, sweet, funny, clean romantic love story! I love the characters and their chemistry. Kate Kisset writes such great stories and great characters! Great Series!
Two to Tango is a fun novella by Kate Kisset. It has characters who have a past attraction but never really acted on it. Now thanks to a lodging mix-up, they are thrown back together. Fans of Dancing with the Stars or meddling older relatives will love this story of Scarlett and Jake. Simply a delightful read from beginning to end. The characters are great, the fulfilling a dream is true and the last line of the story clinched for me. “We all won. Love always wins.”
An excellent and delightful short romantic story with a HEA. The main characters of Jake and Scarlet were developed so that they blended by the end of the story. They were both drawn back to town and the grannies were actively involved in the romance. Ms. Kisser made the characters so the readers could relate. I received a complementary copy of this book and chose to write a review. I look forward to reading future books by this author.
This is a sweet, fun romance and another hit by Kate Kisset! I adore Mimi and Cha-Cha – they are a HOOT! Timing has never been right for Jake and Scarlett, that is until Mimi and Cha-Cha. You know when they get involved there is no going back!
I am a big fan of Kate’s Love in the Vineyards series and Two to Tango fits in perfectly. I think this would make a great Hallmark movie. This is a heart-warming HEA you should definitely check out.
Two to Tango is a really fun, sweet romance. The two manipulative matchmakers are hilarious. Jake and Scarlett have great chemistry. Ms. Kisset’s books set in wine country are all about extended family, love and heart. Personally I love to watch people tango so that was a plus for me. I would love to see a movie version of this. I highly recommend this novella.
You know those books where you completely fall in love with all the characters, especially the “side” characters – this is one of them. It’s impossible not to love Mimi and Cha-Cha and their machinations, and I only wish we’d had more of them here. The story is heartwarming, the HEA is the one we’re all hoping for, and everything comes together beautifully. A very enjoyable read.
Love this story! The characters are realistic & relatable. Jake & Scarlett have wonderful chemistry. Mr. Kisset’s descriptive prose enable the reader to picture the scenes in their mind. The countryside is gorgeous & doesn’t sound pretentious at all. Jake’s grandmother, Mimi & great-aunt, Cha-Cha, are hilarious & total trouble! Their interactions & perfect ability to irritate Jake make the story! You really don’t want to miss this one!
This was a wonderful sweet novella by the talented Kate Kisset. If you’ve read any of her books before, you have met Cha-Cha and Mimi. They are two hilarious and very meddlesome grannies; as is the case in this story.
Scarlett is a pastry baker looking for a new shop and a new life after recently being dumped by her finance. Jake is a sportscaster who was bought at a charity auction by his great-aunt and nonna and is now at their mercy.
I received an ARC from the author and this is my honest review.
However, I loved the book so much that I also bought it so I could read it again and again.
Cute, quick read. I enjoyed Jake & Scarlet’s quick, sweet romance.
If you love this genre this is a must read. I volunteered to read an advance copy for an honest review.
With a chance call from a friend, Scarlett comes back to town to try to fulfill her dream of owning her own bakery.
After being publicly humiliated Jake didn’t think it could get any worse, that is until his grandmother and auntie buy him at an auction and have him come back to his home town to play out their devious plan.
Scarlett is positive this is some sort of setup when she discovers Jake is stay in the same house her friend had arranged for her to stay.
The two have a history although the timing was always off they had never actually been together but the fierce attraction is most definitely still there.
Will the geriatrics devious plan actually work out or will Scarlett continue to deny her feelings?
Although this was a great fun quick novella, I wish it were longer as I really enjoyed Jake and Scarlett’s story and just wanted more.
The attraction of Jake and Scarlett is still hot after dancing around their feelings for so long.
I loved the witty banter of Mimi and Cha Cha. They would be so much fun to have around.
Mimi and Cha Cha stirring things, but will they cook up an HEA?

I liked the hero and heroine and was happy for their ability to reconnect and move closer both logistically and emotionally. With two manipulative matchmakers, how could it be otherwise? This is the fourth or fifth story I’ve read in this wine country series and the plots all brim with extended family and friends finding love and the good life. I just wish there had been more quality together time for this couple off the dance floor and a bit less about Mimi and Cha Cha. I was in it for the romance, not so much for the dance. At least Scarlett and Jake had some backstory together briefly explained so that the quick development of their romantic relationship in this story seemed an organic result of their earlier, not-acted-upon attraction. A good fit if you don’t require or relish angst in a love story.
I read a complimentary advance copy of the story; this is my voluntary and honest review.
ONE HEARTWARMING READ!!!
OMG! Talk about one sweet read. A whirlwind of activities and events that brings a full range of swirling emotions into play. An amazing wild ride that keeps you on the edge of your seat as everything falls into place with such perfection it totally rocked. The characters are well developed and believable with realistic personalities that blend and play off one another in such a smooth flowing rhythm. The scenes are so graphic and detailed it paints a fantastic backdrop that really makes the storyline pop. All the twists and turns really bring this little gem bursting alive perfectly. Amazing job Kate, thanks for sharing this awesome read with us.

I’m anxiously waiting for the next book in the Love In The Vineyards series
I really enjoy Kate Kisset’s writing. This is a wonderful addition to her collection of books. And, let’s be honest, I really enjoy the grannies; Mimi and Cha Cha are so much fun! I love the “trouble” that they stir up for their grandchildren and this love story between Jake and Scarlett is no different. This is a fun read!
Such a wonderful, cute, story. Really liked this story. Thanks again for another great read
This is a wonderful story set in wine country about Scarlett and Jake. If you enjoy books that will have you laughing out loud (gotta love characters like Mimi and Cha-Cha), then you will not be disappointed with Two to Tango. Grab your copy and settle in for a quick read.
I received an advance reader copy of this book and this is my voluntary and honest review.
I really enjoyed this quick read. Jake and Scarlett are so good together, they just needed fate and those they loved to prod them. Can’t wait for the rest of the series, especially if there will be more of the Grannies and their hijinks.
The grannies are at it again – with a plot to bring Jake and Scarlett together. Just thinking of the shenanigans of the two grannies makes me chuckle. This is a delightful second chance romance with wonderful characters who have a definite attraction to each other.
I absolutely love Kate Kissett’s books…funny, sexy, loveable characters, HEAs and they always take you away…Loved it!!!
