I love a good marriage of convenience story between old friends who suddenly find themselves wanting more than just friendship! And you just know this book is filled with Naima Simone’s trademark steam and emotion, so it’s a no-brainer to one-click this baby.
One of my favorite tropes – two people destined for each other who just don’t know it yet, but have to marry anyway!
Ezekiel Holloway and Reagan chemistry over the top of the charts .What happens when you mix romance and marrying to secure an inheritance. You get a great read about two string individuals who are willing to support each other in the time of need no matter what. years earlier Reagan had a misfortune and her family had never let het forget but in order to receive the inheritance she has to married an upstanding man whom deem fit for her. Even though Ezekiel is having his own problems right now he still comes to her aide , even when he tries to back out Reagan knows Zeke is the only one that she can trust they are also trying to find out who is sabotaging the Wingate. This was a very good read with drama, romance and i highly recommend it
This book was hot and spicy!!! I loved this story and everything about it the one thing I loved the most is that Reagan and Zeke through pain and tragedy finally found true love and realized they were each other soulmates. I’m pleased that Reagan finally found her voice through growth and experience. The highlight of this book was the hot love making on the Jaguar!!!! Naima Simone you did excellent job with this story you officially have a new reader. Now I just have one request please give Luke a story.
I found this to be well written storyline that had an easy flow. The characters are engaging and well developed with plenty of twists and turns throughout the pages to keep me entertained.

Fake Engagement
Zeke and Reagan have known each other for years and figure they can help each other out with a fake engagement and short term marriage, and neither plan to catch feelings (we all know how that will work out, hehe!). Zeke has experienced too much loss to trust his heart but Reagan, he knows he can trust her. Reagan has experienced both romantic and familiar betrayal and rejection but with Zeke she feels seen and cared for.
I’m a sucker for a fake engagement and this one was perfection! Not only did it have the anticipated “we won’t fall in love” plot point it was also a delicious slow burn that was beyond hot when it finally caught fire!
I also really appreciate the discussion of race, colorism, wealth, and opportunity in Texas. While it’s not a huge part of the plot it’s an important discussion in/to the story and for readers to see.
Also this is the first book I’ve finished in a single day in almost a year, and it felt marvelous!
Trust Fund Fiance by Naima Simone
Trust Fund Fiance is part of the Texas Cattleman’s Club: Rags to Riches series and like everything else from Naima Simone, it is a steamy delight.
Reagan Sinclair is the heir to receive of her grandmother’s trust fund money. Only problem is, she either has to wait one year or be married to receive the money. She works with a charity that supports pregnant teens and doesn’t want to wait another year to be able to commit to her work full-time. The solution comes to her in the form of Ezekiel Holloway, her long-time friend, with whom she arranges a marriage of convenience.
Zeke agrees to marry Reagan in the hopes of helping his family overcome a crushing scandal, so it’s a win-win for everyone, if only they can keep those pesky romantic feelings from threatening to tank their best-laid plans.
Reagan and Zeke both come from a place of deep hurt involving their families, especially Reagan, who has her own secrets that her family won’t let her forget. The emotional journey for these characters is to arrive at a place where they can share these traumas, leaning on their long friendship as well as their mutual feelings to achieve a happy ending that is deeply satisfying.
Naima Simone is one of the best at writing complex characters and sexy situations in the tight space of a category romance. While this novel reads well as a standalone, it’s part of a shared universe featuring contributions from multiple authors (The Texas Cattleman’s Club: Rags to Riches). Simone does a great job of incorporating compelling secondary characters and fusing her story with the larger storyline, and never leaves you wondering what’s happening.

Reagan and Ezekiel were well-developed characters! I enjoyed their story. The plot was engaging and the author kept the pace moving. The characters’ chemistry was clear from their first interaction.
Great story! Warning: steamy scenes.
A sexy fake relationship turned Vegas wedding romantic read. This book has all the harlequin feels.
This is a delicious take on the fake relationship trope. Naima Simone is a master at delivering stories full of emotion and heat. She just gets better and better.
Reagan comes from an affluent family however she has grown weary of trying to live the life her parents expect her to lead and never being able to please them. She wants access to the inheritance from her grandmother so that she can chart her own course but for that to happen she needs to either be 30 or married.
Ezekiel is a man who has endured more loss than anyone should have to and if that isn’t enough the family business is under siege. He suggests an arrangement with his friend Reagan that is more merger than marriage which will give her the freedom she desires and will help him overcome the negative media scrutiny he and his family are facing.
It isn’t long before the chemistry between Reagan and Ezekiel ignites and they realize that their feelings for each other run much deeper than friends but between their own insecurities and the machinations of others their journey isn’t without its challenges.
Trust Fund Fiancé is a wonderful quicker read. It is part of the Texas Cattleman’s Club books, but definitely can be considered a stand-alone.
Ezekiel ‘Zeke’ Holloway and Reagan Sinclair have been best friends for ever…what a perfect pair for a fake marriage, where each of them will benefit for their own reasons…however, do they truly know what those reasons are?
This book has heat and history. It is a very enjoyable read from Naima Simone, a wonderful author who writes wonderful storylines and characters. 4 solid stars from me!
This story is well written and standalone even though it is part for the Texas Cattleman’s Club series. The author gave good back story on both characters so you are able to understand where they are today.
Reagan and Zeke have a love story wrought with pain and tragedy. But together they heal those wounds and fall in love. What started out as a business arrangement to help Reagan gain access to her inheritance turned into true love. Zeke gets scared of what he feels for Reagan and pushes her way but using his own self-doubt and insecurities as the reason. His brother Luke knocks some sense into him so that he doesn’t loose her forever.
This is my first book by Naima, but it will not be my last!

Ezekiel aka “Zeke” and Reagan for all intense and purpose seem to be perfect people but Zeke’s family business is getting more accusations thrown at them while Reagan is seen as unfit to decide how she should live her life so when Zeke comes up with a plan for Reagan to finally do what she wants well…. lets just say the best laid plans don’t always go as planned! There are times you feel outraged, sad, happy and will laugh out load along with times you roll your eyes and want to shake both Zeke and Reagan and tell the to wake up to whats in front of them I loved how I didn’t have to have read any of the other books in this series although now I do want to read them! lol

Naima Simone’s TRUST FUND FIANCE treats readers to all the feels as Ezekiel and Reagan move from fake engagement to a marriage of convenience. There is nothing artificial about their feelings or the passion in this wonderful Harlequin Desire romance.
Trust Fund Fiancé by Naima Simone
Texas Cattleman’s Club: Rags to Riches #
Harlequin Desire romance with a marriage of convenience trope sees Ezekiel “Zeke” Holloway offer marriage to Reagan “Ray” Sinclair so she can access the trust fun her grandmother bequeathed her. What was supposed to be polite and platonic moves on to more but of course, as must happen in this type of book, there is a glitch or two to overcome before the couple can achieve their HEA ending.
I was able to follow the romance of Zeke & Ray without having read previous books in the series BUT do believe having more of the backstory related to the Wingate family might have been helpful. The issues the Wingates and Holloways are facing were not resolved but became even worse before the story ended and I do wonder how things will eventually work out for them. My gut feeling is that someone is out to destroy them or take over the company or something like that but there is not enough information to know for sure.
Reagan and Ezekiel have known one another since they were young, are friends, met through his cousin/her friend, and they both have a trauma from the past that haunts them in the present. The two are perfect for one another if/when they finally communicate, face and then overcome those issues from the past.
Did I enjoy this book? Yes
Would I read more by this author? Yes

3-4 Stars
I thought Trust Fund Fiancé was a very good book. It grabbed my attention from the beginning of the story. I was eager to see the way Zeke and Reagan would find their way to love after they only agreed to a one year marriage of convenience.
I give this book 4,5 stars.
Naima Simone wrote a beautiful and heart wrenching romance between two people broken by their past who find each other at a time of need. It broke my heart but luckily rebuild it again.
Ezekiel and Reagan is such a beautiful couple and I just wanted so much for them to find their way though their darkness to their sunshine that is their shared love and support for each other.
Ezekiel has persuaded himself that he is unable to love ever again after having lost both of his parents and his fiancé in car accidents. He is now trying to save his family’s company from going under together with his brother, Luke.
Reagan is fighting to gain her fathers respect back after having made a huge mistake when she was sixteen, but she is also fighting for her freedom and being able to help and work for her favorite charity. Her grandmother left her an inheritance but she can only get the inheritance if she marries a suitable man which her father agrees to.
Zeke suggests that they get married so she can get her money and become happy and free and on the other hand she can make him look good in the eye of the public. It will be a marriage of convenience, just friends, no kissing or sex.
But can they stay away from each other and what happens when feelings starts to develop between them? Will her father find Zeke suitable for Reagan Or will he make it even more difficult for them to get to their happily ever after?
I loved Zeke and Reagan and their chemistry is combustible. I am just going to say the car scene on the road in the middle of fields and other cars could come by. SO HOT WOW.
I can’t wait to read the next book and I hope It is about Luke and his HEA cause I loved him and he deserves a beautiful ending to.
I can definitely recommend this book.

Loved Zeke and Reagan’s story in the Texas Cattleman Club series!
I immediately meshed with Zeke and Reagan’s story, when Zeke offers Reagan a way to inherit her trust fund earlier. Zeke and Reagan ride a slippery slope of pretending too well to be an engaged couple. When Reagan’s father and his company’s continuing problems interfere, Zeke wants to protect Reagan. How will it all end? You have to read to find out and will enjoy these friends with benefits story!
This book is part of the Texas Cattleman’s Club series. It’s the story of Zeke and Reagan. She has a sizeable trust fund that she can’t access until she either marries a man her father approves of, or turns 30. Zeke, who has known Reagan for years, because she was good friends with his cousin, has money of his own. He comes up with a plan to help Reagan get her money so that she can do some things she’s always dreamed of. Their story is fast paced and easy to read. I enjoyed these characters a lot. Since it’s a series, I’m hoping there’s a story about Zeke’s brother as well.
