The Wife Protectors is book 2 in a six book dystopian romance series. The passion is high but the stakes are even higher. Tia and her rugged husbands are in the wilds of Alaska fighting for their lives — and for their love.

In book 2, we get to focus on Tia and Giles and their complicated love story. I thought Giles’ story would be one of my favorites but it actually was my least favorite. I think because Giles had to deal with what happened outside the compound, and the screen time between Tia and Giles was cut short compared to the others. I am glad the Tia is starting to divulge her past, it will need to come out sooner or later, or more people will be hurt. I liked seeing the husbands band together though, they are starting to be a family, even in just the beginning stages. I thought the developments between Tia and her other guys were wonderful, especially regarding Emerson . I am glad the whole series is finished or else that cliffhanger would have been a tad frustrating haha.
In terms of the narration, similar to book 1, Giles wasn’t a favorite performance of mine but the narrators did a good job capturing a lot of the emotion, tension, fear, etc. and started bringing the characters to life.
On to book 3!
The men have won me over and I love the way the authors have captured the love Tia has for each of her husbands. With each book in this series I am falling for each and every one of Tia’s husbands. Great Storyline, amazing characters and an unexpected ending make this a 5-star read! I can’t wait to read the next book!
Books are my one great escape. A chance to disappear into someone else’s life for just a little while and this book is definitely a great escape. It took me into a world I could only imagine where women are scarce, men are plentiful and the laws are very strange.
This book is a real page turner with action of some sort on every page.
Tia is still running not only from her past but now her current situation is putting her husbands in danger. She vows to do all that is within her power to protect them but in doing so she actually puts them in more danger.
This book is a sort of science fiction, mystery and drama with some romance thrown in and I recommend it to anyone who likes a love story with all the other things thrown in.
I can’t wait to read book 3 in this series.
In this book 2 of this riveting series, Tia is in a quandary. She is falling hard for all of her husbands and when she discovers that her father and betrothed may be on her trail, she will not risk putting them in danger and does the only thing she thinks will save them. Unknowingly she has put them in more danger for running. Her husband Giles risks his life in more ways than one to protect the woman he has fallen in love with and now Tia is on her way to meet the person who created the Wife Lottery. Has Warren Thorne they finally found his daughter Christina Thorne?
A woman who’s running from her former life, the men who have sworn to protect her as her husbands…the story continues in this second installment. Everyone is put in danger when she runs away to protect her husbands. Lots of plot twists and steamy romance as usual. Although there is an expected cliffhanger at the end, it is a interesting story and will continue to read the next in the series.
4.5
The more I read of this series the more
I love it. I really like how each story focuses on one specific husband of Tia’s. It gives the reader a little background on the individual and more insight into their character. I like seeing how the relationship between the individual husbands and Tia blossom and grow. Going from a marriage of necessity (more on Tia’s part) to a friendship and then to love. The authors are doing a really great job developing the characters and unveiling each section of Tia’s story. I have a feeling something really big is coming soon and I can’t wait to read the next story.
