This is a well written small town romance with strong characters in Jackson and Brianna. The author does a great job developing their story and moving it fluidly with her detailed and descriptive writing. She gives them a strong chemistry but many issues to deal with along the way. I enjoyed reading their story and would recommend this book.

Her next chapter in life…

His job was about protecting and serving the public and sometimes even delivering unpleasant news to families.
Jackson was perplexed by the reactions he witnessed from one family member to the next and it was quite odd.
Granted he’d only been living in the area for a few years however there were those who swore the facts matched all the information he just gave the family.
In the beginning Brianna had hope but as time went by it continued to wain and slowly but surely she’d been relegated to a subpar existence.
She could tell he wasn’t a fool like other people around her and yes she tried to be honest but she had to be careful or face the consequences.
Brianna was still trying to understand how everything got so twisted the smoke and mirrors to a camouflaged reality.
Sometimes all you need is one person to set you on even ground.
Jackson was still trying to make heads or tails of the whole situation and truthfully it was becoming the messiest fiasco he’d ever had the displeasure of dealing with next to his own nightmare.
Jackson was still on the fence about his own since of morality because here was a woman he could see himself falling for.
But, yep there was that big three letter word and how he felt about certain flaws.
Still he wanted to get to know Brianna and with her bubbly best friend adding more sparkle to their discussion.
Finally he was willing if she was but unfortunately his maleness disease took over his mouth and he was left to ponder his stupid mistake and what to do next.
Brianna never hated anything more then her mother’s tedious garden parties especially having to endure a man she totally disliked more then anyone.
But this time she’d have plenty of back up to help deflated that braying mule’s ego.
It was time no well past time for things to change because she deserved to have sunshine again.
