A swoon-worthy, sexy & utterly charming STANDALONE romance inspired by the classic film Roman Holiday, from the New York Times bestselling author of Bad at Love and The PactI never believed in fairy-tales.Never held out for Prince Charming.Growing up poor in small-town California as the oldest of six siblings, I knew I would never ride off into the sunset with anyone. That was even more … sunset with anyone. That was even more apparent when a senseless tragedy took the lives of my parents, forcing me to become the sole guardian of our dysfunctional household at the mere age of twenty-three.
Then a fateful encounter literally brought Prince Charming to my doorstep.
At first I thought Viktor was just your average businessman passing through, albeit obscenely handsome, six-foot-five, blue-eyed, and mysteriously rich.
But soon I discovered the truth behind Viktor’s façade.
Beneath his quiet, enigmatic gaze and cocky charm, is a man who is running away from who he really is. A role he’d rather not fulfill.
He is Viktor of House Nordin, His Royal Highness, The Crown Prince of Sweden.
Yet uncovering Viktor’s secret was only the first step.
I didn’t expect to fall in love with him.
I didn’t expect to have my whole life turned upside down.
When you’re from two different worlds, can your hearts meet somewhere in the middle?
Or do happily-ever-afters only exist in fairy-tales?
WARNING: The Swedish Prince is oh-so sweet, enchanting and funny, but it does contain foul language (lots of the F word) and graphic sexual scenes (lots of dirty talk). Reader discretion is advised for those who are sensitive.

I was enamored by the blurb of this book since I first saw it and I was happy to finally to make the time to read it. Sadly, it did not live up to the hype, especially being my first read by the author.
Being a fan of classic movies and Audrey Hepburn, I’ve watched Roman Holiday a lot of times and feel they still owe me on that ending so I understood what Ms. Halle set out to do. Unfortunately, I felt she came up short and the story got too complicated and away from the point. Still, I think the writing is good and I liked enough elements to keep it above water.
I loved this book. The world was wonderful and characters sweet and sassy.
Swedish Prince found his Love
Karina Halle had definetely swoon me with Royal Romance. The story was sweet, sexy fun and I didnt stop. SWEDISH Prince was a dream to many lovebuds like myself.
The romance between Maggie and Viktor was spotted on! Something light, hints of sexy love which can made your cheek rosy red… the characters were funny, quirky and cute!
This book was so charming to know that even a Roya Prince deserve love.. either with a Princess or a Commoner..
Holy hotness. Loved this book. I loved the story line and the characters!!! Plus the steaminess is off the charts. Definitely, do not pass up! Great read.
5+ STARS
NO SPOILERS!
The Swedish Prince was a sweet, sexy, emotional, charming, swoon-worthy, and entertaining standalone contemporary Royal-inspired romance, and I absolutely loved it with all of my heart and soul! It was everything I wanted and needed, and it has definitely been my TOP FAVORITE read of 2018 so far! Karina Halle completely blew me away with Viktor and Maggie’s story, and it was hands down her BEST NOVEL yet! The storyline and characters were everything I’d dreamed they’d be and so much more, and I loved her writing style. I first started reading Karina Halle’s books in early 2017 and have been hooked ever since. She has an insane talent that I am absolutely addicted to, and every book she writes only gets better. Karina Halle is by far my TOP FAVORITE contemporary romance author, and I am so excited to devour more of her truly amazing and unforgettable romances!
Viktor and Maggie were out of this world amazing, and I absolutely adored them and their story with all of my heart. They were everything I wanted and never knew I needed, and I can honestly say that Viktor and Maggie are my favorite fictional characters that I’ve ever read about. I loved their personalities and red-hot chemistry together, and how their relationship progressed throughout. I loved reading the book from both Viktor and Maggie’s POV, and all of their banter and interactions with each other. Viktor was pretty much perfect and made me swoon so hard. Maggie was incredibly likable and lovable and I felt an instant connection with her; Viktor too. Of course there were some rocky moments between them, but that’s to be expected in every book. There were also plenty of heartfelt and feel-good moments that had me smiling from ear to ear. Almost all of the secondary characters were amazing as well, and I loved them to pieces. I truly loved every single thing about The Swedish Prince, and I was beyond ecstatic with the conclusion to Viktor and Maggie’s story. It was absolutely brilliant and more perfect than I could have imagined.
The Swedish Prince was a sweet, sexy, charming, and swoon-worthy standalone contemporary romance of Royal proportions, and I absolutely loved and adored it with all of my heart! Karina Halle did an outstanding job with this book, and I honestly never wanted it to end; it was that phenomenal. The Swedish Prince was by far the best Royal-inspired romance that I’ve ever read, and I would highly recommend it to everyone!
Another fantastic book by Karina Halle. The Swedish Prince is heart warming, entertaining, romantic, sexy and enjoyable. It so well written and I was hooked from beginning to end. It has a modern day fairy tale concept with a unique and refreshing plot that left me smiling, starry eyed and giddy at times.
Viktor and Maggie’s story is beautiful, passionate and seductive (those bedroom scenes….HOT DAMN). However given their different social classes, their relationship was quite challenging at times. I fell in love with Viktor immediately! He’s so charming, romantic and regal. Maggie is courageous, sweet and down to earth. They are such a loveable couple. Maggie’s siblings are hilarious and they stole the show so to speak.
I would recommend this swoon-worthy book to everyone!!
This was the first book I’ve read by this author. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Maggie’s life changes when her parents are murdered. She becomes guardian to her 5 brothers and sisters. Working as a hotel housemaid, she walks into a room to clean it and comes across a gorgeous, sexy, naked man.
He’s Swedish, gorgeous. Think Alexander Skarsgard. He’s not who she thinks he is though. He’s in the US on holiday to take some time to mourn the death of his brother and prepare himself for what is to come. Heir to the throne. The relationship begins between Viktor and Maggie. He gets to know her family, including Callum who loves to do impersonations of the Swedish Chef from the Muppets. Overall, an enjoyable, sexy, emotional read.
This was really sweet and cute. There were a couple of funny moments and I really enjoyed all the characters. It would be cool if we got books on the other prince and king that in the story. Especially that younger king. Overall it was fun, I really enjoyed it!
I spent this entire book picturing Viktor as Alexander Skarsgård. That *MIGHT* have had a slight impact on how much I loved this book. It was not the main reason, I promise. But whew! Love me some Alexander Skarsgård.
This story was ah-mazing. I hadn’t read anything by Karina Halle before I picked up this book, but I think I just found a black hole to spiral down!
These characters ripped my heart out in the best possible way. Maggie reminded me so very much of myself in how she handled her siblings. As the oldest in a family of 6, I always knew (and worried) that if anything happened to my parents, the kids were my responsibility. It was a sigh of relief when my youngest brother reached adulthood. Maggie puts her whole life and career on hold to rush home and take care of the kids. It’s not because she’s exceptionally selfless or anything of that nature. She’s just the oldest sibling, and now it’s her job. It’s what you do. I adored that it was not a question of IF she was going to do it, she had to. They’re her siblings. I would feel the same way. She is doing the best she can to give those kids everything they need, and I loved her for it.
Viktor is in a really dark place at the beginning of the story. He may be a prince, but his life is not all sunshine and rainbows. Just like any other person, the stresses of life really get to him. I love that he was in such a vulnerable place at the beginning. By the end of the story, Viktor really comes into his own. He knows what he wants. He knows what it will take to get it. He’s willing to go for it. He’s the dream. For real.
I can’t really tell why I loved this book so much specifically. Maybe it was that this story evolved along the lines of one of my biggest fears, or maybe it was that Maggie was just such a lovely character, who can tell? In any case, this is one of my new favorites.
3.5 stars
I love Karina Halle’s books/writing, and I always trust her to deliver a great story with fun characters. The Swedish Prince started out really good, I was in particular kind of obsessed with the HOT Swedish Prince Viktor. He was a very nice and understanding persona and I liked him right away. Maggie, has been dealt a bad hand, but she tries to make it work with what she has. She left everything behind and goes back to her home town to take care of her 5 siblings (which isn’t easy). I appreciated how hard she worked to make a better life for them. It wasn’t always easy, and she had her issues with some of them, but she never gave up, which shows she is a strong person.
I loved how Viktor and Maggie met, it was very fun and sexy. However, for me it was a bit difficult to connect with the characters. I also didn’t feel a very strong bond between these two. I think the main reason for that is the fast pace of their relationship. At one point the story was elevated and it was put on high gear, which resulted in me feeling left on the side-lines of the story instead of being right in the middle. I still liked the plot and characters, but I think I would’ve enjoyed it more if I had time to really get into the story. However, I do want to say that I loved the fun plot and the interaction between Viktor and Maggie’s siblings.
The Swedish Prince by Karina Halle
Love, love, LOVED this book!
It’s been a while since I’ve read a book by Halle but I jumped on this one because I adored the blurb and had to read it. It’s awful when you anticipate a book being wonderful and amazing and living up to the hype (even if the hype is only in your head) and then feeling so let down upon completion. I am thrilled to say that this was not the case at all for The Swedish Prince – I was immersed in the book and the writing from the first page through to the last and only put it down when I absolutely had to.
Maggie is a journalism student living in New York when she gets a devastating call from her sister that turns her life upside down. She gives up her dream and moves back home to become the legal guardian for her younger siblings. Similarly, Prince Viktor of Sweden has also had his life upended and has escaped to America to have a few weeks of healing before he returns and assumes his duties.
Their first meeting was hilarious and their subsequent ones were just swoony and sexy and romantic and you could just feel them falling in love… I still can’t stop smiling! However, can a girl from a small town, supporting a family ever be well-regarded as a future queen? I guess you’ll have to read it to find out! I personally can’t wait to do a reread.
I am hoping and praying that Halle writes more royal stories – specifically for Magnus, the Crown Prince of Norway and Aksel, the King of Denmark – Magnus needs to be tamed and the King needs someone to put a smile on his dial! And in all honestly – if she’s taking requests – I would love Halle to write a book for Pike!
*arc received in exchange for honest review.

The Swedish Prince is a sweet and sexy real life fairytale with a Prince who will sweep you off your feet. If you are looking to be charmed and are a hopeless romantic that loves fairytales, then you want to grab this one immediately.
Maggie grew up with a large family but she left California to attend NYU and chase her dream of being a journalist. When tragedy strikes her family, she is forced to go back to California and care for her five brothers and sisters. Working as a housekeeper to make ends meet, she runs into a Swedish man who is absolutely stunning. As they continue to be put in each other’s paths, their chemistry continues to grow. However, he’s the Prince of Sweden and has been keeping that from her.
When Viktor took off to the States to regain some mental composure in his life, he had no idea what Maggie would turn his world upside down. From the moment he met her, he wanted her and he began dreaming of taking her back to Sweden. Now all he has to do is tell her and convince her. Easy, right? Thus we begin the story of Maggie finding her Prince Charming.
I’m going to be honest here. I struggled for a bit during this book. It started out strong and I adore Karina’s writing style but something just stopped clicking for me after a while. It’s kind of hard to pinpoint but I think it comes down to the fact that I just didn’t connect to the characters as much as I wanted to. I know that Viktor will sweep many people off their feet, including Maggie but for me I was just content. Not wowed enough to beg for me. I don’t mean that to come off harsh because I did like them, I just didn’t connect to them enough to make me feel like I wanted to.
I will say that I absolutely love the idea of Maggie’s brother, Callum. I mean, that kid… You have no idea what he is going to say, what he is going to do and dare I say you might be a bit frightened?
Don’t let my rating fool you, I really did enjoy this book and I think that many people are going to devour it. If you want to be whisked away by a fairytale, this definitely pick this up!
A completely enchanting and enthralling romance that is surprising and sweet…
The Swedish Prince is my first read by Karina Hale, and I have to say that it did not disappoint all the hype that I’d heard about her. Personally, I’m not a massive reader of Royal Romances, but I have to say that this story really did go beyond that. It was the most beautiful and harrowing unexpected read. If you’re like me and you enjoy a dark romance, there really are some elements of this story that will scratch that itch for you. In fact, the story itself isn’t really what I’ve come to expect from Royal Romantic Comedies, it does touch on some very sensitive issues that again are on the darker side. I really loved that and if anything I felt that it gave this happily ever after plot edge and freshness. For me, those emotionally incapacitating hits are what made this book unforgettable.
I found this book a little long, but the twists and turns it takes really does make it an outstanding read. You know how some authors tease you for that first kiss or that first physical encounter? Well, Ms. Hale has not only done both of those, but she also teases you with a happy ending that always seems to blow up. Boooooooom! She dangles that carrot right in front of you and then some freaking sniper blows it to smithereens. I know, melodramatic much? But what you don’t understand is that I got so invested and I was bobbing along and swooning and just in a general state of awwww, and I love Viktor and Maggie… and then it was like freaking doomsday. No cow on the ice? I’d say there’s a pretty motherfracking massive cow on there!
And breathe…
So, yeah, I got down with this story. It’s one of the best Royal Romances I’ve ever read. Full stop. Period. Most of that is down to the characters. I fell in love with Maggie from the off and I was rooting for her every single step of the way. Even when I was pulling out my hair whilst trying not to smash my kindle and shout my throat hoarse at her naïveté. There were A LOT of don’t you dare do it and just freaking jump him, babe moments. Saying that, I completely understood every one of Maggie’s hang ups. I understood all her hold backs. I have two kids and I struggle with that, the poor girl has not one, not two but THREE kids and an adolescent to raise. And the adolescent counts as another three kids on top of the other three siblings. The girl deserves a medal on top of Prince junk. Viktor, oh Viktor…I swear I still can’t stop smiling when I think of him. He’s such a tortured sweetheart. There were times where he was more Prince Edvard (The Prince and Me) than Joe Bradley (Roman Holiday). In fact, I’d say he’s a welcome and heady cocktail of both. I really could not get enough of him. He is such a multifaceted character and hero. Although I found myself lusting over him from the off, I also really felt for him. He has this heavy and burdening darkness and yet, he has this drawing and exciting presence. Seriously, he is one of those heroes that will just make you feel good. Pun not intended.
The chemistry between Viktor and Maggie was inescapable and down right freaking hot. Hot. Hot. I liked their banter and I felt that it brought a great lightness and comedic value to the story. One thing that made this story for me was the pacing of the romance and the physical element of their relationship. I liked that it wasn’t rushed towards. It was so refreshing to have the banter and the push and pull before the sexy romance. It was just brilliantly executed and I cannot fault any of it. This really is one of those stories you feel spoiled by…overindulged even. I would’ve read it cover to cover in one sitting if life hadn’t gotten in the way. Every part of it was just fabulous, from the plot to the writing to the protagonists, and extending to the secondary characters…who I hope have their own books in the future. That Prince Magnus…OH. EM. GEE. I want some of him in my life!
I can’t recommend this book enough. It is a must read. It is everything. This is one of those books that you just can’t not read.
Karina is one of my go-t0 authors that I automatically one-click when she announces she’s releasing another book. She is so versatile, writing in many different genres that I know I’m never going to be bored reading her. When she first announced The Swedish Prince, a shoutout to the movie Roman Holiday, I got excited. Then when she said she pictured Armie Hammer as the inspiration for her prince, I said, well, Helvete, how can you go wrong with thinking about Armie Hammer all day?
I really enjoyed the premise of this story, two people who meet under embarrassing circumstances, who feel an instant connection to each other. Kindred spirits, both having suffered through unimaginable loss. Maggie, a 23 year old college student who suddenly finds herself the legal guardian of her five brothers and sisters. Her life turned upside down when she has to return home and get any job she can to provide for her family after the death of her parents. And Victor, suddenly inheriting the title of Crown Prince of Sweden with his brother’s sudden death. The pressure is stifling both of them. When Victor ends up staying at the hotel where Maggie is a housekeeper, their first meeting is a little unorthodox to say the least. And their second meeting isn’t much better, but Maggie feels a pull to Victor that she just can’t deny.
Karina really put a fun spin on what if might be like if the Prince of Sweden met and fell for an American “commoner”. What kind of obstacles would their relationship face? After only having one uninterrupted week together, is what they are feeling for each other even real? How do you move forward from here? Maggie is a package deal, her and her five siblings. Is that too much for Victor to handle? How are the King and Queen of Sweden going to react to this, let alone the public? And the paparazzi? Everyone knows what cruel vultures they are.
There are a lot of sweet and light moments interspersed with the deeper, more emotional moments. And of course, there are plenty of sexy times between Victor and Maggie too. Things get pretty steamy, and if Maggie is ever too tired to take on Victor, I volunteer as tribute!
Obviously reading a story about a country that has a real king and queen, along with princes and princesses, I did my best to suspend logic and not constantly think, “they would never do that, that would never happen’ which for me is a hard thing to do since I am such a literal person. And I think I did a pretty good job of it and didn’t overthink things, just read them and enjoyed them for what they were, a love story between royalty and a commoner. One or two things niggled at me that I couldn’t let go of, like Victor driving from Las Vegas to LA and ending up in Tehachapi. That would never happen, unless you were taking the really, really scenic route. But hey, maybe he was doing just that in his vintage mustang!
Even with the few serious scenes in the story, it was a very fun read and I got to live vicariously through Maggie and pretend it was me having all the fun with Armie Hammer! And what woman hasn’t had the fantasy at least once in their lives of getting swept off their feet by a gorgeous prince?
The Swedish Prince blew me away. Undeniably one of my top reads for 2018. Once again, Karina’s writing is beautiful, poetry in motion. This girl can write it all. She throws her emotion down on the pages of this one, steams up the pages with “royal treatment” that surpasses all other.
I went in somewhat blind, expecting a fun Romantic Comedy to fill my head with laughter and swoons. I got so, so much more. This book absolutely gut-punched me. Perhaps I was overly sensitive due to my own personal experience with loss and grief, but Karina pulled every emotion possible from me. My tears were real, my eyes were full, Kleenex was required. I can honestly say I have not had such an emotional read in a very long time, possibly ever. I can’t give this book enough stars and my review can’t do it justice. I can only hope, I can entice you to take a chance on this book. Get ready to fall in love with an amazing prince and his small-town princess. Get ready for a true romance, a journey that will make you smile, make you laugh out loud, make you swoon, make you cry as your heart is ripped from your chest. But in the end, get ready to feel that anything is possible when you are in love. No hurdle is insurmountable when you give always more, never less.
The whirlwind romance between hero and heroine Viktor and Maggie is always at the forefront of this story. When Viktor pour out his heart and soul into love letters for Maggie, I smiled through my abundant tears. The emotion that he was able to relay from pen to paper had me love-struck like never before.
The Swedish Prince is so much more than just a love story. The emotional depth and humour from the side characters totally rounded out this story. Sam is Maggie’s crazy friend who had me snickering with her off-the-cuff remarks and grooming advice. I fell in love with little Callum and his crazy seven-year-old mind. He was so full of love and laughter as well as fun-loving devilish antics. He brought a smile to my face throughout the whole book.
Karina captured the true essence of teenage rebellion and grief in April. When we finally heard April’s POV at the end, I was awestruck at how well Karina nailed those teenage hormones and I had a whole new understanding and appreciation for April and teenage girls in general.
To me, The Swedish Prince encapsulated all that love can be. Not only the romantic kind but the strong bond of family and the loyalties that lie within. The strength that gets pulled from inside when push comes to shove. The sacrifices made and the lengths that people will go to, all for the survival and love of family.
When you find that special someone who makes the sun shine out of your chest, you can move mountains and create possibilities that you never saw before, just to be with them. When you find love, when you find that person who understands you from your inner core, hold on to them. Don’t let them slip through your fingers like sand in the desert. Don’t let anyone tell you it can’t be done because a love worth having is a love worth working for.

Herdy schmerdy bork bork! This book was
fantastiskt!
I’ve read royalty romances before, and they generally follow the pattern of civilian girl meets handsome Prince and they all live happily ever after, but there was just something quintessentially unique about this book. I don’t know if it was because the male lead was a Swedish Prince as opposed to a British one or one from a fictional country, which is so often the case.
Viktor is the epitome of Royalty with a huge dash of hotness. I knew this from the first moment Maggie set eyes on him.
Maggie I discovered was naive towards the ideology of being a royal, even one that appeared a lot more liberal than the British one for example.
I absolutely adored the most of the other characters in this book, especially Callum, Maggie’s youngest brother. He’s such a cheeky lad, especially where Viktor is concerned.
I love that the Swedish palaces mentioned are actual real places (Yes I Googled them) and if only Prince Viktor was real, I’d be moving to Sweden.
So on that note I conclude that I still love a princess fairytale only with a lot more adult content.
All Romance lovers know and love some version of a movie, or fairy tale, that features a Prince and a commoner. I loved The Swedish Prince, a story based on a beloved and well-known movie, Roman Holiday, but with a twist; this story stars a Crown Prince instead of a Princess. And luckily for us there’s so much more to this story than the movie version which was very chaste since it was filmed in 1953. With dual POV, and filled with amazing secondary characters, this story was fast paced and kept me on the edge of my seat and loving the HEA ending. And as with the Royal family motto, this story is: “Always more, never less.”
Prince Viktor of Sweden had always known he was the spare in the royal “Heir and Spare” hierarchy. His older brother, Alexander, was the Crown Prince and Viktor was happy living his semi-carefree life, without the pressure of the position weighing heavily on his shoulders. But when Alex dies, leaving him as the heir to the throne, his life takes an unexpected twist. Crown Prince Viktor of House Nordin is now his official title.
It’s been a month since his death and Viktor still can’t come to terms with the obligation, even with weekly therapy, he’s not happy knowing he must assume a position he’d never wanted or been prepared to take. When the Royal physician recommends he take some time off to relieve some of the stress, as part of his therapy to come to terms with his new position, his parents agree.
“You’ve gone your whole life knowing you’d probably never sit on the throne, never having to worry about anything beyond just showing up for photos. Now you’ve had to re-route. Your freedom has been stripped. That’s why you’ve been having a nervous breakdown.”
He’s given a passport with a fake name, Johan Andersson, strong medication with a warning to not drink after taking it, and he heads off on a cross country adventure to America. Just an anonymous Swede on vacation.
“I pick up the passport, slowly flipping through the pages. The pages are blank and waiting. A clean slate.”
Maggie McPherson’s had to forget her dream of graduating from NYU, and become a journalist; she had to return home immediately after her world was turned upside down overnight. Only twenty-one she became the legal guardian of her 5 siblings and has been stuck in her hometown of Tehachapi, California, working as a housekeeper in a La Quinta Inn for the last year. When she’d left to go to school she thought she’d left for good. Funny how life doesn’t go as planned. She doesn’t have the luxury of running away and escaping for a day, much less a month, this is her new reality.
“I want that. I want that freedom to drop everything and just run assay. Run away like a coward but at least I would feel the wind in my face and hope under my wings.. At least for a little while I could live under the pretence that anything can happen until the guilt and shame and responsibility would drag me back home.”
When these two cross paths, in his hotel room while he’s buck naked, they never imagined where life would lead them. After Maggie later comes to his rescues, the story takes off on a mad dash, dragging us on a passionate and whirlwind adventure that leads all the way to Sweden. And what a trip it is! Just sit back and enjoy the ride.
As a proud third generation Norwegian, I fell in love with this story! (The dedication was fabulous!)
This is the story of Viktor (who has many names in the book) and Maggie. And what a fantastic story this was!
Maggie, love her! First her name Margaret Mayhem McPherson. And actually her whole family has kick ass names! I won’t spoil it for you, read it and see for yourself. Maggie world is thrown into turmoil and she finds the inner strength to rise above. But as she says, she’s surviving, not living. I wanted to grab her and hug her hard!
Viktor, the crown prince of Sweden, has baggage of his own and such tragic baggage it is. He is trying to wrap his head around his new “normal” and finds refuge, peace and love with Maggie.
Viktor and Maggie’s chemistry is off the charts, their initial meeting was hilarious! Maggie’s siblings are also fantastically funny and the dialogue between everyone is fresh, fast and perfect! Everyone deals with grief in their own way and it was moving to see how it played out in the story. I think my favorite secondary character is the prince of Norway! Again, read this story and I am sure you will agree with me!
This is a beautiful modern fairy tale! I loved this story and your words Karina! I can’t wait to see what comes from you next! (Hint, hint…I hope to hear more of Pike’s story)
The Swedish Prince by Karina Halle is a standalone contemporary romance which she based on the Roan Holiday film. It was sweet and light romance.
Maggie does not believe in fairy-tales and happy endings. As the oldest child of six, when her parents died, she needed to step in and raise her siblings. At twenty-three. Now she is trying to keep her family together and functioning as best she can. Then she met Viktor.
Viktor seemed like your typical businessman going about his business. But he is hiding a secret. A big one. You see, he is really Viktor of House Nordin, His Royal Highness, The Crown Prince of Sweden. He is running from who he is temporarily, while he takes a much-needed break.
Maggie is charmed by Viktor, but they are from very different worlds and she knows fairy-tales are not for her. Who would ever expect to meet a prince in their every day life! But after they met, they spend time together and begin to fall for each other. But each was struggling in their own way. With so much standing in their way, having their happily-ever-after seems impossible.
I loved Maggie. She was strong, determined and worked hard to care for her family, even if it meant putting her dreams aside for a bit. Viktor was smart, charming, sexy and could be cocky, but he also had a sweet side. Though at first, I struggled with the book, I did enjoy it and just let myself just get lost in the story. With light angst, this was an overall sweet romance.
Happy reading!
