This storyline will keep you craving more and more as it throws its twists and turns at you. There are a few moments that will make you question what else has been hidden. Taz is definitely going through the wringer, physically and emotionally. She is learning to lean on her boys for support. And things in that department are steaming up the pages. It ends on a whopper of a cliffhanger and I can’t wait to see what happens next.
5 stars for The Summit by K.A. Knight. This is book two in Their Champion Series. Worth is a bada**. I love her character. Worth must face her toughest opponent yet, herself. This series keeps getting darker and darker. I am not lying every book seems to get darker. Taz/Worth loves just as she fights, fiercely but bloodthirsty and she will protect those she cares about no matter what. Some one is out to get them all and they must be stopped.
I so enjoyed The Wasteland so much, so I had high expectations of The Summit, and it did not disappoint.
So book two starts off after that big cliffy from book one. I do not want to reveal much, just in case you have not read book one yet. But I will say that I we get to see more of what made Worth the warrior she is today. It is nice to see some of what makes her so strong and what shaped her. Love that we get some some of her men, who are just as deadly as her. I love them together.
So we also get to meet some new people, which are just as interesting as the main leads.
We get some sad, happy, and sexy times. So be prepared for a great followup in this series. I cannot wait for more.
I Give This Book a 4-4.5/5 Star Rating, Listing as 4.
HEA(?): Not Yet!
Cliffhanger(?): Yes! And it was sooooo Good!
Relationship Type: RH> Reverse Harem

This is definitely a fast read than the first one, and During the last half of the book it was amazing, I never lost focus! I can’t wait to read Book 3!
This is set against a brutal backdrop in a world only the strong survive and this second book in this fast-past and gritty post-apocalyptic adventure starts off right where we left things previously.
Returning from meeting with the leader of the Worshipers and on the road back to the summit Taz and her men are waylaid by Berserkers.
Outnumbered they awaken to find themselves in an underground bunker and guests of the rumoured paradise.
Also, a shockingly familiar face flings Taz right back into her past.
But with a war looming Taz is desperate to return to The Ring before it’s too late.
Not to mention how time-sensitive this is with a psychotic seeker possibly going postal and sending out a search party in search of his chosen soulmate.
This one was plenty dark in terms of content and our girl definitely gets put through both the emotional and physical ringer.
She finally admits her feelings for Maxen, Thorn, Drax and Jax but something also felt slightly lost with the inclusion of Dray to the mix.
Don’t get me wrong I did like him a whole lot, he’s a powerfully brutal figure who takes what he wants with no apologies but at the same time lives by a personal code of ethics he also adheres to.
I also loved his interactions with Taz they were incredibly erotic in nature.
I just felt it threw the dynamic of this off slightly and compared to Dray they all just then seemed more like boys, especially when held up against his more savage and dominant personality.
This did annoy me slightly because prior to this I didn’t feel that way at all about them.
I’m hoping the final book will maybe fix this for me finally clicking it all together so it fits, fingers crossed.
This one also had some very emotional moments that were majorly heartbreaking and the finale here was a shocker as well
On a side note though this contains a lot of dark content it’s the backdrop and situations and bloodshed that are dark rather than the romance itself.
I’m very much looking forward to the next instalment in this thrilling series and excited to see where it goes next.

Oh wow, the Wasteland was a great book, but this one was even better. I can’t believe that the author managed to surpass her previous greatness. Needless to say, she cruelly left us hanging again in a very similar way, and I absolutely love her for it, because that means that there will be more books in the series.
Steamy factor in this book is off the charts, especially because we get to know Dray a bit more intimately, as he plays a big role in Worth’s life (I haven’t managed to see her as Taz, yet). That does not mean that we don’t get to see even more of her beautiful four men. Did I mention Dray? Dray is my favourite. Oh, and Dray rocks.
Now back to the story and general non-steamy stuff. I almost feel like the author’s writing is even better, which is strange, because it was pretty perfect the first time around. She expands the world, outside of the Ring and the clan territories already seen in the previous book, moving into the Seekers and Berserkers land, and some previously uncharted territories. The differences among the peoples are staggering, and the ways they created to survive and cope with the devastation.
The violence increases as the fighting gets closer to home, and there are some seriously ugly scenes. The author did a stellar job conveying all the pain, suffering, torture, and trials of the gritty raw world she created. Get ready to have your heart thorn out. And of course, she created the most amazing and most violent creature of all, the unprecedented killing machine with a heart of gold – Worth (Taz). I also have to mention that Vasilisy is a great character and I absolutely love him. And Dray rocks. This series is a must read for all the readers who are not sensitive to explicit content and violence.
Books are best read in order, which is: The Wasteland (Their Champion Book 1), The Summit (Their Champion Book 2), The Forgotten (Their Champion Companion Novel 1), The Cities (Their Champion Book 3), and The Lost (Their Champion Companion Novel 2).
This second installment in this series is just as good and action-packed as the first. We continue on in the journey with Worth and her men. I was again sucked right in and couldn’t put it down. This book was full of action, suspense, heat, steam, touching moments, and heartbreak. I cannot wait for the next book in this exciting series.
The Summit: Their Champion Book Two Kindle Edition
by K.A Knight
I borrowed this book via Kindle Unlimited and am choosing to leave a fair and honest review.
I am in love with this series! Deliciously violent, uproariously funny and wonderfully sexy, I was physically unable to put it down.
It is the characters that stand out and pulled me in to the story. It is nothing like any of the multitude of Dystopian and Post-apocalyptic novels I have read. Ms. Knight clearly had her tongue firmly in her cheek as she penned this George Millerian vision, where the biggest bad-ass is the heroine. Tazanna Worth ripped herself out of slavery by pure rage and pain in the Ring and now she is ready to take down the man, Ivar, who made her his slave. And she does it like a righteous anti-heroine, with blood and violence.
The love scenes are well done if not particularly memorable. It is in the fight scenes and the political plotting that Ms. Knight’s talent truly shines. The story, the plot and the layers twist, turn and wrap up the reader. It is impossible to put the book down until the surprising… okay shocking end.
It is wonderful to have a female in the dark, angry role for a change. To have dark, angry Wonder Woman-ish character who isn’t willing to let her men fight for her. To have a character that the men rely on to save them.
I really love this series! And I’m off to read the next in the series

Book 2 doesn’t disappoint in Their Champion series by KA Knight! I fell more in love with Worth as a complicated character and her men are to die for!! I thought KA Knight did a fabulous job making me fall so hard for some of the side characters and then utterly destroyed me when things didn’t go the way I had hoped. I mean, I knew one of them was coming because KA Knight does love bloodshed and her stories definitely don’t always have happy endings for characters hahaha. I just was hoping the one I absolutely adored wouldn’t have that fate, but it made for a stronger storyline. It helped Taz have the strength to do what she does at the end of the book. I won’t give anything away, but its pretty dang epic and she is a BEAST!
For the narration, I thought Hollie again proved she is a fantastic storyteller and doing this thing is an amazing way to showcase it and she totally should continue for a long, long time. I thought she did an amazing job with all the different characters, the inflections were so spot on. I got lost in the story while listening because she made the story come to life. I commend her again and definitely will continue to listen to audiobooks done by her.
10000% recommend. Can’t wait for the rest of this series and the spinoff to be on audio. Those will be just as epic
There is so much that happens during the summit and I am so excited to see how she is going to get her boys back. With an army at her back and Dray at her side, the city has no idea what is about to hit them.
Apocalyptic/Dystopian. Rh. It starts where the first left, with Worth waking up in a facility and finding out her father is alive. They all are headed to the Summit.
Yes there will be tears (it’s K.Night)
Bunch of blood and gore
Action (loads of it)
Lovable psychopaths
The story gives us more background on Worth. How the Wastelands run, and the clans. I really do love a strong kick a** heroine and she even has guys to match! It does leave on a minor cliffhanger.
Wow…Thankfully no more waiting after that killer cliff hanger of book 1! I loved the Wasteland, The Summit is even better. Action packed, and filled with steam the author really knocked it out of the park. Taz and her men find plenty of opportunity for battle as well as steamy moments. As always though, Taz is fiercely independent and relies on no man to do the dirty work. I loved the continued world building and character interactions. This series pulls so many emotions, I cannot wait to see what else happens next.
Holy fu** this book kicked serious butt! Half the time I was suffering from heat flashes and the other half I was sitting on the edge of my seat in nail biting suspense. The author certainly kicked up her game with this book. Darn book hangovers!!!!
I don’t know how I’ll survive until the next book. I fear for my mental health. 😉
Hurry up and one click this hot and action filled book. I also highly recommend the authors other series.
