Well…So far, my apocalpytic upbringing has not been peaches and daisies (if that is how the saying goes). Or is it peaches and pansies?Fighting off feral beasts, surviving natural disasters, and coming face to face with the worst that humankind has to offer is quite tiresome. Psycho ex-girlfriends? Check.Creepy monsters/zombies? Check.Orgasms? Not check. Yet.Soon, I find myself battling for my … check. Yet.
Soon, I find myself battling for my life. For the life I built with my seven men.
But what happens when I have to face the storm by myself?
This is a reverse harem romance! This book will continue sexual situations and language not suitable for people of all ages. There are also scenes and flashbacks in this book that some readers might find triggering.

What an ending – I’m not sure my heart can take waiting for book 4! This story picks up shortly after book 2. Addie is still the crazy, loveable, and unfiltered mess and is trying to figure out her relationships in the midst of the apocalypse and Ragers (aka zombies). This series is so addicting and I just want more 🙂
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: I am a huge fan of Addie as a character. Yes, a lot of quirks come from her background, but I feel like she is how we all wish we could be. She doesn’t hold her tongue (not without trying, just… not able to do it), but she’s unapologetic when she does say what she’s thinking. You either accept her for how she is or you don’t, but it doesn’t really bother her either way.
This book picks up after the events of book 2. Again, a really fast-paced book, with a LOT that goes on. There’s never really a lull. There’s more than one POV in this book, in case that’s something you have concerns over. I’m pretty all the guys have at least one chapter in this book. Some people might worry that it would be disjointed or like you miss out on part of the story, and I’ve definitely read instances where that happens from using multi-POV. It doesn’t happen here, though. The POV’s that are chosen are well-thought out and add to the story, rather than just chosen at random and distracting from the overall story. Part of the reason for the various POVs is that the characters are much more split up in this book. I won’t say how, but without multi-POVs, you’d actually be pretty lost. But because of it, we get to find out a lot more about the guys, how they tick, and how they feel – about their pasts, Addie, the rest of their team. Overall, it lends itself to quite a bit of character growth/development, I think. I would say the group being split up more in this book is my one complaint with the story, but that’s because I really love the group dynamic the characters have. I think if the story hadn’t been written like it was, it probably would have suffered for it, so I’m not saying that I think they should have been together more in this book, but rather it was a minor disappointment as a fan.
So, this one, this is a cliffie. Like a proper, what the holy crackerjacks cliffie. I made the mistake of looking at a spoilers post on social media before I read the book and had assumed the absolute worst, and it actually ended up being better than I expected. I think because of that, I didn’t end up with a ridiculous hangover (silver linings for spoiler posts, for which, btw, I take full responsibility of looking at; I actually had to seek it out and was well-marked). However, without having looked at that post, I think it would have been a 2/3 day hangover, at least. Prepare for it. Book 4 had better have some answers or it’s going in the corner. That’s all I’m saying.
Apocalyptic. Paranormal. Horror. Rh. Seven guys. This ones filled with love, betrayal, and tears. So many tears. If you loved the first two you’ll definitely love this one. If you didn’t love the first two, why the heck are you reading this one? Thanks for the cry.
