She’s loved and lost him a hundred times across a thousand years. She can’t bear to lose him again.Lin’s dreams are haunted by faces of people she’s never met. As Lin falls hopelessly in love with Reinier, her memories of her life as Hannah sharpen, and she finds herself unable to let go of Matthew.
With her heart torn in two, Lin must decide whether she should stand by Reinier’s side or track down Matthew and fight for his love. What she doesn’t know is that her decision will ripple across our troubled planet, affecting far more lives than just her own.

The SoulWeaver is one of those books that will leave you looking at life and love in new ways. Through poignant prose and clever story telling, Heidi Catherine explores what love is, its immortality through the ages, and its transcendence across culture and generations. I can’t wait for the next book in the series!
Where do we go after we die? Don’t we all want to know? The Soulweaver is a book that may have some answers for you. Reincarnation is definitely on my list of possibilities so I avidly read The Soulweaver which touched me (and my soul, I think). Through easy-flowing prose, the author conveys through fiction that love can remain with us forever if we find our soulmate and also shows the different types of love that can be experienced.
This was a book I didn’t want to end and I certainly hope that I meet the main characters again in a sequel. I definitely recommend this beautifully written, thought-provoking novel.
Reminiscent of The Time Traveler’s Wife, The Soulweaver explores the concept of reincarnation, but it is so much more. In a story that travels across time and continents, Heidi Catherine looks at the idea of soulmates and relationships through an unconventional lens that will leave you questioning the very nature of what it means to love. The Souldweaver is a fantastic original romantic fantasy that will have you clamouring for the second in the series before you come to the last page.
A breathtaking story told in a beautiful way. It’s a unique love story with a twist which I thoroughly enjoyed from start to end. The way the story unravels is perfectly paced and leaves the reader wanting more, it touches on thought provoking aspects of life and beyond. I look forward to reading more from this talented author. Highly recommend!
The Soulweaver is a stunning book. I was moved to tears in several places as it has such heart and soul (no pun intended). It is a fascinating concept – that we all are souls who have lived many times over. The story has a number of beautiful locations including Australia and Hong Kong and the characters are well-drawn and memorable. The pace of the book is excellent and the writing has a beautiful tone – it is not flowery, which could be the temptation for some writers with such a concept, instead it is clean and articulate but constantly conveys the emotion of the characters and their situations beautifully.
So, I’m not really having much luck at the moment in regards to my reading material.
Here we have another Arc I was so looking forward to only to be let down again in my expectations.
I think I may need to lower them slightly, expectations that is, this is beginning to be a bit of a pattern for me lately.
So The Soulweaver by Heidi Catherine is a lyrical narrative that for me fell slightly too much on the wordy and preachy side of the fence.
The soulweaver basically tells the story of the life and death of Hannah/Lin and how all things are interwoven with rebirth, reincarnation and growth ultimately leading to a higher plane of enlightenment.
Reinier/Lin/Hannah/Mathew/Shen each of these has a role to play in the bigger picture that this tale is striving for.
So I wish I could say I loved this, But I really didn’t it was a bit of a chore to finish if I’m honest and I was really starting to skim near the end.
So, This was so going to be a two-star all the way then Soulweaver kinda side-swiped me from the left-field.
Throwing in that mega emotional ending and I’ve got to admit I kinda got a bit emotional and had myself a good old cry over it, I’m such a girl.
So yeh that weepfest was enough to pull it out of the bag for me and It got that extra star on the merits of my girly tears.
That aside, my main issue with this is I felt at times that I wasn’t reading a story but receiving a sermon. And even know religion itself is never outright mentioned.
There was enough of the Mother /Soulweaver and Creator/Author and the sin of suicide to make you think it was on the cusp sitting there, it was the elephant in the room just a different terminology was ultimately used.
In conclusion, this just really wasn’t for me.
Thank You to Netgalley, the publisher and the Author for proving me with an ARC of Soulweaver of which I have reviewed voluntary.
