From the author of the Palm Beach Mystery SeriesThe beautiful Farrell sisters are an unlikely duo of PIs. Tired of following cheating husbands to no-tell motels, the two catch a case which could either make their bones or get them killed. Maybe both. To crack it, the sisters must dive deep into a murky demimonde of crooked cops, low-rent thugs and high-class brothels. In the middle of it all, … brothels.
In the middle of it all, Jackie falls for hunky homicide cop, Harry Bull. Harry is from an old Savannah family but… might just have a skeleton or two rattling around in his closet.

The Savannah Madame by Tom Turner is another winning mystery coming from the talented writer Tom Turner, the prolific writer of the Palm Beach mystery series and others. The Savannah Madame is a promising start to this new series of which I hope there will be many. The Savannah Madame involves two young women who are private investigators. They have been hired to find the person who killed the owner of a notorious house of prostitution.
The dialogue is amusing and the characters are portrayed in a winning fashion. The city of Savannah is stylishly portrayed and makes the reader want to take a trip there as soon as possible.
One can only hope that Mr. Turner is at home furiously writing the next entry into what appears to be an outstanding private investigation series.
And not only as a reviewer but an avid reader I always like to recommend writers with long and exciting backlists. So be sure and check out Mr. Turner’s series of Palm Beach mysteries as well as his newer series called the Nick Janzek Charleston Mysteries.
The Savannah Madam – a review by Rosemary Kenny
Sisters Jackie and Ryder Farrell run a P.I. agency in Savannah, where their daily business so far has consisted of tracing missing or cheating spouses, etc. Though they pay the bills, these mundane cases are a necessary evil and not their preferred option.
However, the saying ‘Be careful what you wish for’, suddenly comes true, when, as well as accepting a missing wife case, they’re also asked to support police with solving the murder, of the eponymous joint-owner of an exclusive ‘gentleman’s club, the Casa Romantique.
Superbly entertaining, the marvelous Tom Turner expands the characters, their effects on the sisters and others and the cases in The Savannah Madam, including the lush locations and splendid scenarios, so subtly that before you know it, you’re right in the heart of the action and adventure, along with Jackie and Ryder.

Interesting characters….credible, well-developed plot makes this a quick read…very entertaining
This is the first book I’ve read by this author and it was a good read. I liked most of the characters and the storyline was interesting. I didn’t like Ryder much. She came off as rude instead of sassy and charming. Bull and Jackie were great as partners and they seemed to read each other well. I can’t wait to read the next book.

Another good book by this author.
A good, light read
Enjoyable light read but trite and entirely predictable
I couldn’t finish it. Didn’t catch my fancy
I enjoyed this mystery and am looking forward to the next one. Set in my hometown, Savannah, I found the author was factual in his representation of places. The plot was realistic and entertaining. If you’re not from the South you might have a hard time buying into some of our outrageousness, but it’s all part of our charm. I like the author’s style and have started reading his Charleston series while I am waiting on the next book in this series.
