When the dead can testify, their killers resort to desperate measures
The Remnant Keepers are a loathed group of telepaths, paid to read the last memories of the recently murdered. Jack Winston is one of the best and hates it. Under the scrutiny of the world’s most powerful corporation, Jack is as much a prisoner as those he helps send behind bars.
But when his latest case arrives, Jack’s world … arrives, Jack’s world shatters as his wife is brutally murdered. Fuelled by vengeance, Jack vows to catch the murderer, but as the bodies pile up, Jack realises he’s made a terrible mistake; he was never the hunter, only the hunted.
The Remnant Keeper is the first book of Tombs Rising, part of The Tombs Legacy. If you’re a fan of Torchwood, Stephen King, or The X-Files, then you’ll love a series that combines all of their best traits in a fast-paced, captivating, thrilling adventure.
Buy THE REMNANT KEEPER and take your first steps into a universe of darkness created by author Robert Scott-Norton.

I don’t like it when people are ostracized for being different.
I love this sci fi thriller. The concept is awesome. I love the main character. You feel sympathy for him immediately. Will keep reading the series.
The ability to see through a dead persons eyes was an interesting idea but it wasn’t taken very far. Very predictable.
Good read
Tough to start with, but moved well as it went along. A good book!
Interesting approach to PI work. I’ll definitely look for more by this author.
Started off slow but quickly picked up and I could not put it down.
An interesting sci-fi medical and forensic plot. I enjoyed it to the end.
Left me wanting more
No plot, very boring. Couldn’t read it all
I recommend this book to all. It is like nothing I have ever read.
Interesting concept, starts great, however begins to drag 1/2 way into the book. As more die the story becomes more unbelievable. Ending leaves you hanging
Enjoyed the interesting view of where memories reside. Plot unpredictable when logic transition to new characters.
Entertaining. I liked the perspective.
Definitely not a happy ever after story.
Four stars. Enjoy a murder mystery in which skilled investigators can return to interact with dead crime victims as the murder is in progress (from the victim’s memories) so that the killer can be identified.
On 3 May 2115, a woman negotiates a deal for a just-arrested plastic surgeon’s patient list.
England has enabled registered telepaths (“teeps”) to use crime scene evidence to re-view the past from a dead participant’s view.
Teeps are identified by a tattoo on their face; teeps are not welcomed by the general public. An Anti Telepathic League is insisting that the public should rise up and ban and outlaw telepaths.
Even with occasional government controlled drones viewing inside and outside spaces and commonly use personal 3D communication device, people can be murdered and police are still needed to make arrests and try to prevent crime.
Get wrapped up in a quick frenzy of murders carried out with no apparent link beyond the DNA of a single killer. The first person we meet is one the first people to die. Her husband of six months is a new-to-the-profession teep.
This story is an enjoyable read. There is blood, gore and first person views of amateur surgery. There are plenty of twists and turns. Who can you believe?
i like science fantasy when it is almost believable this one was.
Slow building but gets there.
Dark but a good read
Interesting read but a bit more sci-fi than I usually like
