Once upon a time, there was a young girl who thought she found the love of her life at only fourteen years old . . . but after five years of puppy love combined with ‘we think we’re grown’ love, her fairy tale came to an end. That girl was me. I’m Cole and this is my story, my journey, and as it turned out, my hot mess of a dating life. There are the guys who ghosted me and also the one who … and also the one who returned like a zombie again and again. There are drunken adventures and one night stands. There’s even that time I became a bride for the span of a night.
While struggling with writer’s block and depression, I jotted it all down, kept the records, and now I’m ready to share it with you.
Yeah, you!
I’ve condensed it all into seventeen episodes of love, life, lust and the chaos of millennial dating. So get comfortable, grab your popcorn, some tissues, and of course that bottle of wine. It’s time to binge on your favorite reality star . . . me.

I thought this book was hilarious and so well written. It definitely took me back to when I was single, a LONG time ago! LOL. I love that this was presented in “episodes”. Such a fun and interesting way to share her dating stories with the world.
Cole is a young woman who has a rough dating life, she’s been ghosted, lied to, and cheated on. She’s now approaching her birthday and realizing that yet again, she’s single. She’s at the point in her life that she’s settled into her career and wanting to settle down and have children, but the men she ends up with are definitely not the family type. This book chronicles her dating history from the time she starts dating as a 14 year old and continues until the present. Presented in 17 “episodes”, mostly about the different men she’s had a relationship with (there’s a few duplicates), this story reads like the diary of a woman determined to find her Mr. Right, but who keeps ending up with Mr. Not.
I do have to say that I wasn’t a fan of this book. You may be wondering why I’m giving it such a high rating if I wasn’t a fan, but my reasoning is simple. It’s a well written book but I just couldn’t get into it. It has a few great characters, though some are a little one-dimensional in my opinion. I’m not the type of reviewer that can give a bad review of a book simply because it wasn’t a good fit for me. I breezed through the story, but the characters just didn’t grab me.
**I received an ARC of this story and this is my honest and voluntary review.
Let’s take a walk through the ghosts of relationships past. We are right alongside our author as she brings us back to those teenage years as she experiences both laugher, heartache along with some unanswered questions. This story is down to earth and easily relatable when it comes to a few episodes. We’re given a raw, this is me, this is my story book that I simply couldn’t put down.
Where to start with this review lol!! This is a story which covers a decade of dating history, through the good times and the bad, while ploughing through a minefield that dating can be. This is a really well written story which is raw, gritty, intense, and humorous and entertaining which all lead to realistic situations which had me totally hooked throughout this addictive page turner. Take a chance and read this novel as you will not be disappointed.
Let’s start with that title: The Relationshit Show… I die laughing whenever I read it. How perfectly does that sum up most of our dating history in our 20s? Dating is hard and Shay takes you through her romantic history, step by step. Not all bad, there were some good ones, but just didn’t fit in the long run. There were the terrible ones, the Voldemort’s… those that shall not be named in this review lol. Shay packs this book with over a decade of dating stories that are raw and real. The way she crafted this “memoir” makes it feel like you are both living it with her and also hearing the story from a close friend. I love Shay, I think she is so talented, and I am so happy she has come back to the writing world and released this lovely to the market for everyone to read. The Relationshit Show is relatable, funny, entertaining, and just a great read! 100% you should take a chance and pick this one up!

I’m so glad that S. Cole brought this book to us.
How much more relatable can you be?
I recommend this title to anyone looking for a good time and a total page-turner.
I throughly enjoyed reading this new release!
Not really sure what to say. I feel like I was watching a train wreck and couldn’t look away. I felt bad for Cole, sleeping around and drinking so heavily. I really wish her friends had jumped in and offered help. Each episode is a different guy, sometimes the guys are seen in another episode. She never seems to understand she’s just the one night girl or booty call. There were plenty of humorous attempts but mostly awkwardness. I received an early copy.
