Please bring me a new boss for Christmas. Mine is the worst. The worst, hidden in a six foot tall package of male perfection. It’d be easier if he looked like an old Scrooge, wouldn’t it? Nick Saint-Croix doesn’t look like an old scrooge. He’s hot as-Um, never mind. Just bring me a new boss. Please.
Sincerely, Holly Winter
If You Give a Jerk a Gingerbread, Book 2
Dear Santa,
I do not want Keller James for Christmas. I will not fall for him, no matter how charming or irresistible or famous he is. I will not be swayed by his skills in the kitchen or by his British accent. I’m going to win the Great Gingerbread Bake Off and no one is going to stand in my way. Not even Keller. All kisses are off. I mean all bets. All bets are off. And all his clothes. Grr, never mind. I’ll figure this out myself.
XOXO, Ginger Winter
The One Night Stand Before Christmas, Book 3
Dear Santa,
Please stop by my house and pick up your suit. If you thought I was going to run it to the dry cleaners for you after you left it on my bedroom floor, you’ve got another thought coming.
Best, Noel Winter

Read w/Audible. It was so fantastic! Well I love this author so I’m a bit biased. It was such a good holiday read and a great way to get into the Christmas spirit! Very funny.
Jana Aston’s Reindeer Falls collection includes three sweet, funny, and delightful holiday novellas that are sure to put readers in the Christmas spirit. The novellas are all standalone stories, but they are interconnected, with each focusing on one of the three Winter sisters as they find love in the charming town of Reindeer Falls, Michigan. The relationship between sisters Noel, Holly, and Ginger is a ton of fun and quite possibly my favorite thing about this collection; while they constantly tease each other, it is clear how much they love and support one another.
Book #1, “The Boss Who Stole Christmas,” features middle sister Holly and Nick, her new boss at the toy company where she is employed. This story is a great combination of enemies-to-lovers, office romance, and road trip romance as Holly and Nick head off on a business trip to Nuremberg, Germany. Holly is delightfully cute and quirky, very passionate about her job and life in Reindeer Falls. Nick is a bit more mysterious than Holly, but family is clearly very important to him, as evidenced by the way he dotes on his toddler niece. There’s definitely more to him than his Grinch-like demeanor at work would suggest, as Holly finds out when they travel to Germany together.
Book #2, “If You Give a Jerk a Gingerbread,” is the story of youngest sister Ginger and Keller, a celebrity chef visiting Reindeer Falls to compete in a holiday baking competition sponsored by the Food Network. Ginger, who was also a contestant in the baking competition, was just as cute and fun as her sister Holly, and I particularly loved the hilarious, old-fashioned phrases she used in place of swearing. Keller was super sweet, and even though he was supposed to be competing against Ginger, he made his romantic interest in her clear from the start. I’m not sure he ever really cared about winning the competition, especially after he met Ginger. In any event, the two of them were totally perfect for each other, and I think their story was my favorite of the three novellas.
Finally, in book #3, oldest sister Noel has a one-night stand with a man she thinks is the brother of a co-worker, but who turns out to be a mysterious stranger who stepped in to play Santa when the real actor failed to show up at a community event Noel hosted on her co-worker’s behalf. Hilarity ensues as Noel tries to track down the mysterious Teddy, only to find him in the last place she ever expected.
I loved all three of these novellas and highly recommend them for all romantic comedy fans. I wouldn’t mind it if Ms. Aston decided to revisit Reindeer Falls in the future, either. It was such a charming place, and reminded me of the setting of a Hallmark Christmas movie. Maybe there’s more fun (and romance) to be found there!

This collection of novellas is all about Christmas with sisters Holly, Noel and Ginger. They have bosses that are scrooges and make their lives difficult at times. The ladies end up turning things around for that special man in their lives. Take a trip to Reindeer Falls and find love. A cute read that I enjoyed and recommend.
4.5 Stars
If you want some enjoyable reads to get you into the holiday spirit this collection of books will for the bill. I gobbled them right up. In the first book I can so relate to Holly. I love Christmas as much as she does and I’m crafter at the holidays just like her. I can also relate to Ginger. I understand her love of baking. I bake up a storm for the holidays. I loved Ginger and Keller. They have chemistry and I loved their banter. Then Noel in the third book was great with Santa Claus. I gobbled up this collection. I want to go visit Reindeer Falls during the holidays. It sounds so magical. I loved the picture the descriptions of the book created in my head. This is a must read for the holiday season!
If you’re in the mood for some sweet, funny and angst-free Holiday romances you’ve come to the right place! In The Reindeer Falls Collection, Ms. Aston takes holiday cheer to a whole new level with sexy shenanigans, OTT sweet romance and more Christmas and holiday-related puns than you could ever imagine. And it’s a blast.
The lovely town of Reindeer Falls is one where Christmas is taken very seriously, and the Winter sisters are no exception. These girls will all get their feet swept out during the holidays.
The Boss Who Stole Christmas
Holly hates her new boss Nick. Which totally sucks as she absolutely loves her job. She’ll just have to learn to ignore his grinchy attitude in that hot as hell, tall and fit package. But when Nick forces a weeklong work trip to Germany (the horror) she soon realizes that she might have been protesting too much.
With undeniable chemistry, these seemingly opposites are seriously attracted to each other, but what happens in Nuremberg stays in Nuremberg… right?
Holly had a serious denial of her complete crush on Nick, and I found myself wanting to slap some sense into her when she was being willfully obtuse. Nick was hot and sweet, but I was a bit surprised when he wasn’t a bit more assertive in his pursuit of Holly… then again, a pseudo-romantic getaway to Germany is no small gesture…
In the end, I totally loved these two getting together and all that was missing to me was a baby epilogue.
If You Give A Jerk A Gingerbread
Ginger has always loved baking and her life’s ambition is owning her own bakery in Reindeer Falls. The Great Gingerbread Bake Off is just the last push she needs with the 10 thousand dollar cash prize. If her Food Network celebrity chef crush gets in her way… well, she’ll think of something that doesn’t include his tongue in her mouth and their hands all over each other…
Keller with his sexy accent and his kitchen moves was pure perfection. Ginger was totally adorable, and their cooking puns and adorkableness together was one of my favorite things in this whole collection. This one was easily my favorite of the three stories.
The One Night Stand Before Christmas
In this classic mixed-identities romance, Noel, the eldest Winter sister gets seduced by the sexy guy portraying Santa for the kid’s pictures. Little did she know, this Teddy was not her co-worker’s unemployed little brother… and now after the best night of her life and leaving the hunky Santa on her bed, she has no way of knowing who he really is.
The dirty Santa jokes totally did me in and I had a blast with the “active adults” of this community.
These three stories were hilariously funny and pun infested and I loved every second of it. I wish we could have gotten even a little male PoV on each story, I think that would have made for an awesome change of pace. With a little taste of baby epilogue at the very end, The Reindeer Falls Collection is an excellent choice for some lovely, a bit naughty and funny holiday reads.

Q: Is there anything better than a collection of stories by one of your favorite answers?
A: No!
Jana Aston’s “The Reindeer Falls” Collection contains three fantastic novella length stories featuring the Winter sisters. Each story is fantastic and features a sweet, sassy, spunky and sexy heroine and their hot, sexy, alpha male counterparts. A pleasure to read from start to finish.
“The Boss Who Stole Christmas” had me rolling on the floor. Holly is a cracker and every thought, word and or action that she had, had me laughing out loud. Meanwhile Nick is strong, sexy, bossy and Grinchy – make me swoon. Their chemistry is hot and their happily ever after sexily adorable. Loved this short story.
“If You Give A Jerk A Gingerbread “ is another laugh out loud swoon fest. Ginger is Hilarious with a capital ‘H’ and Keller is to die for, when these two bakers meet it is love at first cookie. Their attraction jumps off the page and you can’t help but fall in love with them, their baking shenanigans their Christmas banter.
“The One Night Stand Before Christmas “ is Noel and Theo’s love story. It’s a case of at the right place at the right time for both of them. Their chemistry is off the charts and gets them placed permanently on Santa’s naughty list and what an utterly amazing place it is to be. A fitting end to the Winter sister’s trilogy.
TBR this fantastic Holiday Collection and enjoy the magic that is Reindeer Falls. Merry Christmas everyone. (I read an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review).
These 3 books were hilarious and just perfect for Christmas time. Each one about different sister, Holly, Ginger and Noel. All three center around the town they grow up in that is Christmas all year round. I love Christmas and absolutely loved these books. Each sister is a different trope; you have the office romance, the enemies to lovers and the mistaken identity.
All the characters were well written and each story while a standalone blended well with the other ones. Each sister’s personality is different but you can tell they are related.
These books were funny, sweet and sexy. The right combo for a great read. Curl up next to your fire, grab some hot chocolate and get to reading these great books.
The Reindeer Falls Collection is a bundle of three super cute and quirky holiday RomComs. Each story is a standalone about one of the Winter sisters, Holly, Ginger and Noel and the adorable small Christmas themed town of Reindeer Falls.
The stories are really witty and fun, low angst, with heat and heart to spare.
I loved listening to these on audiobook and I may have frightened a little old lady in aisle 7 when I burst out loud laughing, but that’s a real danger here! Definitely worth a one click!

Ratings
Story – 4.25 stars (Book 1); 5 stars (Book 2); 4.5 stars (Book 3)
The Boss Who Stole Christmas (Book 1) was a cute and quick start to the incredible timing of all 3 quirky and talented Winter sisters falling in love concurrently in Reindeer Falls with equally interesting and attractive heroes.
I think If You Give a Jerk a Gingerbread (Book 2) was my top favorite of the 3 love stories because Keller James was British. I’m a sucker for a British hero, ha ha!
I also loved that Ginger’s love story, The One Night Stand Before Christmas (Book 3) , covered a longer duration and also included an update on her sisters’ love stories.
This was such a cute, light-heated, and thoroughly entertaining Christmas themed novella bundle, especially narrated by Erin Mallon, one of my very top favorite narrators. I never know exactly how to rate novellas since they are so much shorter than your average full length novel.
Performance by Erin Mallon – 5 stars!
Erin Mallon always knocks the ball out of the park for me. She has great timing and delivery especially for humorous moments. I have yet to be disappointed with her vocal acting and characterizations. She made each of the sisters’ love story distinct with their own personality highlighted. Bravo yet again!
Final Thoughts:
I really need to discuss the 3 stories with my book buddy reading partner, Beth S. who also read the audiobook format. Was she as charmed and entertained all throughout as I was? I’m curious to see what she liked or disliked if anything and which love story was her favorite.
I absolutely loved this collection!! I was hooked from book 1 and completely intrigued about Reindeer Falls and the three sisters this collection revolved around! I was highly entertained throughout these three novellas and Jana Aston did a brilliant job of building the world of Reindeer Falls, I seriously want to go there!!
If you like sweet romances mixed with humour and some clever double entendre’s then this is the collection for you.
Book 1 The Boss Who Stole Christmas
I just loved Holly and her boss Nick. The dick-mass calendar had me in fits and I think this should be on the market as it would be a serious hit! The chemistry between Holly and her Grinch boss Nick was off the charts hot and completely entertaining.
Book 2 If You Give a Jerk Gingerbread
Oh what delicious goodness this novella was! I loved the idea of the Great Gingerbread Bakeoff! filled with yummy treats and chemistry that I am completely surprised didn’t burn the kitchen down, I loved Ginger and Kellar’s romance.
Book 3 The One Night Stand Before Christmas
I think this was my favourite! I was alternating between laughing and cringing with this case of mistaken Father Christmas identity/one night stand. I had never pictured Santa as hot until this novella! Noel and Teddy were perfect together, the wit and banter entertaining with red hot mistletoe chemistry.
I loved the epilogue, it really wrapped up these three sisters story but I could honestly have read more from them and Reindeer falls.
I was lucky to read this first and then listen to it on audible and the narrator Erin Mallon did an amazing job bringing this book to life. I honestly got a few strange looks when I burst out laughing walking down the street.
These stories made my day. I couldn’t put them down. What makes it better is that they’re in one collection so I didn’t need to stop reading. The stories are different but each couple is adorable, fun, and sexy.
I love Jana Aston, we always get great stories that I can’t put down. The Reindeer Falls Collections were fun books to read with sisters Holly, Ginger and Noel. These books had me laughing. The narrator Erin Mallon brought the story to life for me and I loved listening.
These sisters were had the coolest names and really get you in the Christmas spirit. Each of their stories are so fun and I love the way the sisters give each other a hard time. They have the greatest relationship. If you are looking for a fast-paced sweet stories you need to grab these books.
The Reindeer Falls Collection, Volume 1 is a collection of three novellas about three sisters (Holly, Ginger, and Noelle Winter) who live in Reindeer Falls and how they each find love during their favorite holiday.
This was a light, fun, and quick listen. If you’re looking for a holiday-themed listen that’s funny, steamy, and heartwarming, this is definitely it!
Erin Mallon din an awesome job narrating. She was able to make each sister sound distinctly different from each other with her vocal inflections and tone. She has excellent comedic timing as well!
The Reindeer Falls Collection, Volume 1 is a collection of contemporary holiday romantic comedies written in first-person POV. Each low-angst novella can be listened to as a standalone and they all end with a HEA. No cliffhanger, no cheating.
I received this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review.
You guys, this book had me dying laughing! In the first one, The Boss Who Stole Christmas, it started with all of her excuses to try to get out of going out of town with her boss! Including her made up boyfriend, Santana. And then, oh my gosh, Holly’s advent calendar! Not countdown to dick-mas as her sisters called it, but soon she was calling it. Plus the little snippet about if there was room at the Vagina Inn? I was laughing so hard! I have to say before I go any further, this was my favorite of all the stories, and I was a little disappointed we didn’t get as much with Holly in the other two stories, although it makes sense since they were all taking place pretty much over the same few weeks, and Holly was in Nuremberg with Nick for a week of that time.
I have to say I liked the name of the character in the second book, If You Give a Jerk a Gingerbread, the best, Ginger Spice. We got a tiny bit of a glimpse of this story in the first book. While this story I didn’t love as much as the first one, this is the story that convinced me to reach out and purchase the anthology with all three stories from the author. You see, there are many different baked goods discussed in this story, I mean it is about a baking contest. And I wanted to have the recipes! When I reached out to the author about it, she said that I needed the actual written copy, because obviously they won’t put recipes in an audiobook. Yeah, yeah, I could have just purchased the ebook, but no, I want a physical copy if I’m going to buy a book for recipes. The other thing I loved about Ginger, besides the yummy sounding baked goods, was her adorable way of cursing. I tend to do that a lot, not that I never use the actual bad words, but for the longest time I didn’t, and I still don’t feel right using that kind of language in front of people, I’m guessing it’s my education career.
I also liked Noel’s story, The One Night Stand Before Christmas, because she had some great quotes that totally are my kind of quotes. The being alone for a long time, being the oldest, etc. It was fun getting to hear a little bit about the other sisters, just like the second book, we got more of just Noel and Ginger, because as I mentioned, Holly was out of the country. The one night stand was perfect. Even though Noel wasn’t quite sure about Teddy, I was pretty sure of who he was when she met him. But I didn’t see the name thing the way it turned out. I also loved that the elderly lady Noel was trying to set up was kind of playing her. The limited edition coupon bit was hilarious!
Overall, all three books were hilarious, you can see even though I might not have given them all 5 stars, the other two were 4.5.
I originally read the Reindeer Falls series when they first released and I loved them. So, when the series released as a collection in audiobook, I was excited to revisit these characters I loved so much. They are the perfect holiday treat that are fun, light and quick reads. Erin Mallon did an amazing job bringing Holly, Ginger and Noel’s story to life as they celebrate the holidays and find love in all the best ways possible. I highly recommend either reading and/or listening to these stories!
Original Reviews
The Boss Who Stole Christmas:
The Boss Who Stole Christmas by Jana Aston, the first of her three Christmas novellas in the Reindeer Falls series, is the perfect holiday treat! This story was naughty and nice and everything in between and I loved it!
Holly Winter has lived in Reindeer Fall her entire life and has no plans to leave. She loves working at local toy company and celebrates everything Christmas related. Then her boss retires and his nephew takes over. His very sexy nephew with the permanent scowl. There is no way she is attracted to him in any way. Nope. None. But when they head on a business trip to the most Christmas place on earth, will they see each other in a different light?
I love anything Jana writes. This woman does romcom likes nobodies business and she just keeps getting better and better. Holly and Nick had me laughing, swooning and fanning myself. Holly is fun, quirky and sweet. Though Nick is all business at work, what is hiding under all that perfection? He may just surprise Holly! This story was sweet, charming and steamy and just what Santa ordered! A must-read for sure!
If You Give A Jerk A Gingerbread:
I am absolutely loving the Reindeer Falls series by Jana Aston. In the second installment, If You Give A Jerk A Gingerbread, we get Ginger and Keller’s story and I loved it! Ginger has been dreaming of opening her own bakery in Reindeer Falls for years. Now is her big chance, with the reality show the Great Gingerbread Bake Off happening in her own hometown. But she never expected Keller, a chef with his own reality show, to distract her to no end.
I loved the chemistry between Keller and Holly. It was instant and undeniable. I loved Holly. She was sweet and adorable. Keller was charming, sexy and caring. They fall quickly and it all the best ways possible, but what will happen once the bake-off is over and he leaves? If You Give A Jerk A Gingerbread was yet again, a perfect holiday read! Sweet, charming and everything nice!
The One Night Stand Before Christmas:
I have absolutely loved reading the Reindeer Falls series by Jana Aston. They were the perfect holiday reads and I cannot recommend them enough! They are definitely must-reads this holiday season! In The One Night Stand Before Christmas I could not stop laughing. The book just left me feeling happy and wanting more. The Winter sisters and their beaus were the absolute best!
Noel is just going about her business when the man who was supposed to be Santa for the night at the center she worked at changes everything. Next thing she knows she is having the best one night stand of her life. But what if she does not want it to end after only one night? I loved Noel. She was quirky, fun and full of sass. Our Santa was sexy, charming and all kinds of handsome.
Happy listening!
The Reindeer Falls Collection, Volume 1
By: Jana Aston
Narrated by: Erin Mallon
Around the holidays, I love to throw in the Christmas themed books, and when I saw that Jana Aston has this one coming out, I knew I was in for hours of entertainment. Aston has a winning town on her hands with Reindeer Falls, The first Collection centers around 3 sisters, Holly, Ginger and Noelle, all completely different personalities, yet have so many similarities. Each story focuses on one, where they get to meet their soulmates. But it’s not just about the instant chemistry these women find. It’s the journey past that instant lust. Traveling to Germany, sharing your dreams of baking and finding that certain someone who turns out not to be who you thought! It’s fun, has laugh out loud scenes and steam that makes the cocoa hot! I love this kind of writing, it is one of the reasons I listen. It’s the perfect Christmas present.
Who better to bring these three women to life, but Erin Mallon? As always, she is the consummate story teller. I love how she finds each person’s character traits and instinctively puts it all in the voices she creates. Her comedic timing is consistent and she always makes me laugh. Another enjoyable listen!

The Reindeer Falls Collection – Jana Aston
A fabulously crafted series of shorts, centred around the characters of Reindeer Falls.
The Winter sisters, Holly, Ginger and Noel share their romantic and seasonal romances with swoony gorgeous men. Wonderfully fun and quirky scenarios but none the less a whole lot of entertaining reading.
You’ll fall in love with Reindeer Falls and its collection of fabulously flirty and funny characters.
Definitely a great way to pass some long needed holiday relaxation time!
I was completely in love with this story. I like never read or listen to Christmas books. They’re generally a bit too hookie and just too much so I can’t do it. The Reindeer Falls is totally over the top and way too Christmas-y and I was shocked at the amount I seriously fell for this story. Each quick novella was over way too quickly and I just loved them!! I loved the characters. I loved the cute little Christmas-y phrases. The chemistry between those charismatic characters. The heat was fun and insanely HAWT! I loved them all!
Then, let’s factor in Erin Mallon as the narrator and it was totally Christmas spirit! So fun and light. Mallon’s voice is so easy to listen. She sounds fun and upbeat and just perfect for this story. I listened pretty much non-stop and loved every single word uttered! I’d definitely listen to another Jana Aston Christmas novel or novella!
The Reindeer Falls Collection by Jana Aston is Christmas magic meeting swoony and steamy romance. These stories are no less than fairy tales wrapped in holiday love, sweetness of celebration and the perfect heat to warm your heart.
This collection has three interconnected standalones. Three sisters. Three stories. One magical town. Each and every story brings something unique for you. The common theme is Christmas spirits and everything related to this grand festival. Something is in the air of Raindeer Falls and it becomes stronger during the festival of love, hope, happiness, family, friendship and everything. I am from a country and community that does not celebrate Christmas exactly. But holy god, I am craving everything Christmas after reading these stories. The food. The music. The beverages. The decorations. The weather. Everything comes alive in these pages with kaleidoscopic perfection. It was like visual treat for my mind’s eyes. Jana Aston made me experience the beauty through her words.
The first story is about Holly and her Grinch like super sexy and grumpy boss Nick. The Boss Who Stole Christmas has simmering hot sexual tension with epic romantic moments those will just melt you. If You Give A Jerk A Gingerbread is the delicious story of Ginger , the town baker and celebrity chef Keller who meet at a tv channel competition but soon fall in love. I am telling you my stomach was growling and my mouth was watering while reading all those sweet treats. The romance was equally yummy. The One Night Stand Before Christmas was Noel’s story who sleeps with the emergency Santa only to find he is not the guy she thought her to be. Each story has warmth and happiness. The witty fun made me smile and laugh like crazy.
The Reindeer Falls Collection is a perfect holiday treat for your heart. These stories will light up you heart and soul instantly. They were funny. They were sexy. They were delightful and adorable.

I love Jana Aston’s writing! This is an amazing Christmas collection. Three short stories, about three sisters, set in the Reindeer Falls Small Town. The stories are sweet, cute, sexy, hilarious, romantic, and fast-paced. Each couple share an instant attraction and a strong chemistry. Erin Mallon did an amazing job with the narration! She has a beautiful voice, and an amazing male voice! This is the perfect listen during the Christmas Season. I enjoyed it!
