Good read that moves threw the story. Creepy story that makes you think when all is okay is it really.
Nora Roberts just keeps on delivering original and entertaining stories, with likeable characters and realistic action and development.
Wonderful read. Nora Roberts at her best.
This book packs a lot within its covers. Couldn’t stop reading and waiting for a sequel.
I really enjoyed this book. It was odd to read something dark from Nora. It was a bit predictable right from the beginning who the killer would be. The blooming love story I enjoyed! The dark side wasn’t my favorite! Another good read from Nora.
Loved this book. I had trouble putting it down until it was finished.
This was a very enjoyable read. A great amount of romance along with the scary aspects. Perfect combination!
Great read from a great author.
This book kept me guessing. In the last couple of chapters I thought I knew who the killer was… I did. But the conclusion had me paging through to get to the end.
Building suspense and reality in between.
Great book. I really enjoyed the characters.
You have to hand it to Nora Roberts. She can intermix the dark and the light with such effortless felicity that, once you see it, it all seems perfectly natural. In The Obsession, Roberts juxtaposes a woman’s growing love of a man and a dog with the terrifying horror of a demented serial killer. All along the way, she fills in the gaps with subjects which interest women… cooking, love of a dog, furniture refinishing and home redecorating. From a distance, you wouldn’t think such diverse moods would work, but, given the intricate design of her craftsmanship plus an amazing talent for words, it comes off pure and true. I enjoyed this book. A totally, completely, satisfying reading experience!!!
One of the best books I have read in a long time!!
I loved this book! The plot could happen in real life, the characters were well fleshed out and the story kept me engaged late into the night!
I love this author. Some of her books are a little formulaic but when she’s not they’re excellent. This one of those books
I like most of all Nora Roberts books, but this is one of her best by far. Your heart breaks for Naomi in the beginning. But this story just builds and builds and gets better and better. The characters are all relatable and resemble people you see every day. You get invested in this story and even though the killer is slightly predictable, the ending is extremely satisfying.
