Doesn’t everyone like chocolate? Greer “Foxy Brown” Rice used to have all the confidence in the world. Then, she met Dustin “The Beefcake” Collier. One glance, and the career-focused businesswoman is stumbling over her words like a love-sick teen. What Greer thought was a one-sided crush took a thrilling turn when Dustin sent her a friend request on social media. Unfortunately, the more she saw … the more she saw of his life online, the more she doubted the attraction would ever be mutual.
She was the wrong height.
Wrong build.
And wrong complexion.
Little does Foxy know, Beefcake has a taste for chocolate and he’s craving her. Can colleagues from two different backgrounds find a way to release their inhibitions? Or will the struggle between work and family squash their shot at love?

So much fun! I loved Greer and Dustin so much! TK Cherry has written a crazy fun, lol fun summer read with all the feels!
If you are like me and a sucker for office romance the get this. I absolutely loved this book. Greer and Dustin’s chemistry was off the charts in this! This book definitely deserves 10 stars.
This book jumps right into the story. you have these characters that are friends within their group. They have gave all the other workers nicknames. They are funny, they like to gossip, and oogle over this one hot guy. Pretty good book made me laugh at times.
“Disclosure I received this book for a honest review.”
I was totally engaged with Greer and Dustin from the very beginning! The storyline was great and the characters were very likable, believable and the chemistry between them kept me totally captivated until the turn of the very last page!
This was such a relaxing read. I love Greer she is just like any female who is confident but also self-conscious also at the same time. The code names used will keep you laughing.
What can I say about this book??? Besides that it’s perfect!!! Dustin and Greer are 2 shy people that love from afar but never realize that they love each other. This was a perfect work romance, biracial romance that I have read. I loved the how it started and came together and how it ended this book was perfect on so many levels?
The Hottie in Finance is funny, steamy and full of sass!
When I opened the pages and saw the name list and meeting bingo card, I knew I was in for some laughs. And TK Cherry did not disappoint.
The Hottie in Finance starts off with laughs. Greer is a sassy young woman making a name for herself. She also happens to crush on Dustin, for which the book is named. Watching the slow evolution of Greer and Dustin is sweet, hilarious and something many of us can relate to (you’ll know what I mean with the online). Once they click, they are fire!
TK did a fabulous job bringing them both to life and portraying the struggles interracial couples deal with. THIF kept me hooked. And that epilogue… love!
This Was my first Book by this Author and I was NOT Disappointed, it was a Slow torturous burning book but so WORTH IT!! It had some funny moments and some serious, with lots of Sex appeal Characters! Greer/Foxy and Brefcakes story was super sweet. I only wish that there was more!!! But this book was a very great read!!!
Loved everything about this story that I couldn’t put it down. Its a sweet beautiful love story between Greer & Dustin who have loved each other from afar since they both started working together. Neither have ever spoken to each other but when her friend tells her that whilst he was out with the guys one night talking about beautiful women Dustin said she was the most beautiful woman at the office. It has me laughing at the nicknames her friends all have for other colleagues especially ‘beefcake’ the one they’ve given for Dustin as all the women have a thing for him. Eventually he can’t take it anymore & catches her in the stair well kissing her & asking her for a date she agrees & even on their date she still can’t believe he likes her. It turns out they have both been stalking each other & their relationship is amazing until she takes him home to meet her family but it doesn’t go too well when her Dad flips because he believes Greer should be with a black man not this white man who she has brought home. Dustin makes it clear that he isn’t happy that she didn’t tell her family about him & tells her they shouldn’t be together anymore. The time apart is killing her but even more that he’s ignoring her at work. It takes her going out with Byron the owner of JRS who they are working with for him to realise he can’t be without her & he doesn’t care that her dad doesn’t like him because of the colour of his skin not that he makes his daughter happy. This story has you laughing with her friends with their banter & nicknames, happy when Greer & Dustin finally get together but then tears when he leaves her but then happiness again when he comes to his senses proving that love conquers all.
This is a great book that I definately recommend.
I absolutely loved Greer and Dustin! Their chemistry was combustible right off the page of the book! The author really took the time to develop these characters and I couldn’t help but root for the happy ending for them both because I was so in love with the both of them independently and together. This book is definitely a slow burn and I found myself yelling at them throughout the book! lol There’s some funny mixed with steam, and sincerity. A well rounded read and I cannot wait to get my hands on more from this author!
The Hottie in Finance by T.K. Cherry was a wild office romance story following the exploits of Greer and Dustin. She falls heavily for the guy when she first sees him in the office. But, her obsession seems a bit over-the-top to me.
I liked the story, but for nearly half the book, they never even spoke 10 words to one another. If they hadn’t been put on a team together by her boss, they might never have even spoken. I also wish there had been more chapters that were from his POV. Lots of time spent on friends, family conversations that didn’t seem needed.
But, this was a good story!!!
I am volunteering to leave a review for an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
TK Cherry never disappoints! If you are a fan of love from afar with a slight obsession, then this is for you! Greer couldn’t have been a better character picked for this. Her strength and independence was something I loved. I could totally relate to her shyness for the hottie though. Her patience…can we just say that deserves an award. The slow burn I couldn’t take as I wanted to get to it…but no Greer was just fine with the moments that lead up to the sparks! Then let’s talk about Dustin. Could he be any more sizzling. His love for his family was my first hook but then the little moments he took advantage of to get closer to Greer sealed the deal.
I would be remiss if I didn’t mention how this love story didn’t pull on my heartstrings for what a bi racial couple has to endure in our society. But with these strong characters nothing was going to stand in their way.
