“Every experience God gives us . . . is the perfect preparation for the future only He can see.”–Corrie ten BoomCorrie ten Boom was a Dutch watchmaker who became a heroine of the Resistance, a survivor of Hitler’s concentration camps, and one of the most remarkable evangelists of the twentieth century. In World War II she and her family risked their lives to help Jews and underground workers … underground workers escape from the Nazis, and for their work they were tested in the infamous Nazi death camps. Only Corrie among her family survived to tell the story of how faith ultimately triumphs over evil.
Here is the riveting account of how Corrie and her family were able to save many of God’s chosen people. For 35 years millions have seen that there is no pit so deep that God’s love is not deeper still. Now The Hiding Place, repackaged for a new generation of readers, continues to declare that God’s love will overcome, heal, and restore.
“A groundbreaking book that shines a clear light on one of the darkest moments of history.”–Philip Yancey, author, The Jesus I Never Knew
“Ten Boom’s classic is even more relevant to the present hour than at the time of its writing. We . . . need to be inspired afresh by the courage manifested by her family.”–Jack W. Hayford, president, International Foursquare Church; chancellor, The King’s College and Seminary
“The Hiding Place is a classic that begs revisiting. Corrie ten Boom lived the deeper life with God. Her gripping story of love in action will challenge and inspire you!”–Joyce Meyer, best-selling author and Bible teacher

Never to be forgotten story of the Holocaust.
Riveting.
A must read for everyone! A real triumph of inspiration!
I read this years ago. Very inspirational.
Wonderful story about a family during WWII.
A great story to teach hope in the darkest places and greatest trials.
You might think this is a tragic story, but it’s also very inspirational.
Huge fan of Corrie’s life and the faith she brings to the reader!
I have read this book over and over.
I think Corrie Ten Boom was a woman who would sacrifice her life in a minute to save someone. I can’t imagine what she and thousands of men, women and even children went through. They went without clothes, food, and the characters talk about how their bodies crawled with lice. Corrie even found good in that because the soldiers would not rape them for fear of catching lice. What brave people the Jews are!
“The Hiding Place” chronicles the faithfulness of God to Corrie Ten Boom and her sister Betsie, in the midst of the concentration camps they were sent to, as a result of their efforts to help Jewish people elude capture by Nazi soldiers during World War II. The book illustrates how the love of God shines brightly against the backdrop their horrific circumstances,
Corie testimony is amazing
Amazing faith and amazing testament to the power of forgiveness
Read this book many years ago. Have read it several times since and loved it every time. Very eye opening true story. Everyone should read this wonderful book…
Inspiring but parts are hard to read. I deeply admire Corrie’s faith and her determination to live a life that pleased God no matter the consequences.
Wow! I don’t know where to begin. I know one thing…..I have no reason to complain about anything I am going through because even my worst trials cannot compare to the things these people had to endure. Corrine ten boom and her family loved people so much and wanted everyone to know about God’s love and salvation. They were able to see people through the eyes of Jesus and forgive atrocities that are unimaginable! I am humbled. To God be the glory!
Two brave sisters in a concentration camp. One said to the other . . we are in hell. One died while other lived to tell their stories. Good vs. evil in more ways than one.
Incredible biography of a survivor or Nazi prison camps. Her faith saved her.
This is one of the best book I have ever read.
This book holds a sad story of real events that occurred in the early 20th century. The point of view of the author is realistic and demonstrates great strength of character of the author and of her family. I think this is a must read for everyone to inform current and future generations of the real truths of what happened during the Holocaust. This book also provides a view of forgiveness and strength that is not common.
