This is the fourth book of the Selection series and follows America’s daughter Eadlyn. She is learning to be queen while having a selection of her own. 25 boys, only one will win.
Great addition to the selection series!
he Heir by Kiera Cass is book #4. I was worried that it would be too similar to America’s story, but I worried for nothing. I really enjoyed the other side of the story because I felt that isthe only thing that was missing for me with the first 3… I like also seeing the guys side. The Heir was so good you still don’t know who she’s leaving more …
This series is really enjoyable.
Ruined the series for me. I adored the first three books, but 4 and 5 destroyed my love and strength of America and Maxon. Without spoilers, I hated and rolled-my eyes at Eadlyn who was spoiled, entitled, rude, and a flat out bad person. I was hoping she would arc and change, but not enough in this book. None of the guys were appealing-even the …
The story itself was well written I just felt it was repetitive and was nowhere near as good as The Selection was.
I found the main character to be very ungrateful and just overall not that great of a character. I have started The Crown just so I can find out if she actually picks any of the guys.
its so bootiful it makes you want to laugh and cry at the same time
I didn’t think I would like this book as much as I did! It was the perfect book for people (like me) who wanted more of the selection!
Love this books so much and I read the whole collection within a month
The Selection series continues with a new set of characters. Twenty years after America Singer entered the Selection and won the heart of Prince Maxon this story continues with their daughter. Eadlyn is America and Maxon’s oldest child and the future Queen of Ille’a. Eadlyn has spent her whole life preparing for the day when she would become …
It was okay, but I would have been fine with just the first 3 books
This book was good. I think the book was written in a nice way. I was not a huge fan of eadlyn at first, she was very sassy. She did get better towards the end though. I really enjoyed the relationship between eadlyn and one of the selected. Also rely enjoyed the Maxon and America moments!!!
I wasn’t sure how I felt about Kiera Cass changing the main character in this series to Maxon and America’s daughter, but after reading this book and The Crown, I discovered I didn’t mind it as much as I thought I would once I got deeper into the book. I still do wish that I could have gotten a glimpse into Maxon and America’s life after the book …
Entire Series is entertaining. Each book a Great Read.
I honestly only have read The Heir and The Crown in this book series. My sister told me all I needed to know about the back story. I pick to only read the last two, because I wanted to read a book where the girl had the power to whom she married. I also loved how the main character has a direct passion towards her job as queen. She is not what …
I loved how this book made me want to read more about Eadlyn.
Two of the things I enjoyed about The Selection were the main character America and her romance with Maxon. And the whole caste system and related prejudice were intriguing. But in The Heir, the main character is irritating and has a terrible personality. Princess Eadlyn is America’s daughter, but she is a spoiled brat who thinks the world …
My least favorite in the series.
Pretty much the same story as the first 3, except Eadlyn is annoying, selfish, and predictable.
Maxon and America are only 45 years old tops and they describe them like their 75.
This book is so amazing. If you like all the other books in the series there is no way you won’t like this one.
Part of a series I read maybe 2 years ago. Pretty good story
