Before the worst day of their lives, wild horses could not pull them together. Now, nothing can tear them apart…or so they thought.A chance meeting, a bad decision, a stormy night; and the fuse is lit to their most explosive 24 hours yet. When the dead roam the streets; when enemies prowl in the shadows, and when strangers are not all they seem, the only people Wren and Robyn can rely on are … can rely on are each other.
They have fought through hell together, but now, for one of these sisters, today could be the end of everything.

Another great installment in this series! As I listened to this book, I was reminded of the movie “Die Hard”. Just when you think things are going to calm down and everything is going to be OK, something else happens. Wren and Robyn just can’t seem to catch a break as they fight to stay alive. If it isn’t zombies, it’s evil men trying to rule to world.
This is non-stop action at its best, with the sisters getting into one fix after another but always managing to find a way out. When they find a monastery hidden in the woods, you would think that would be the sanctuary that they need for a little rest. Instead, it just creates more problems for them. A good/evil religious zealot always adds a lot to a story and this one does not disappoint. I would have liked to be able to reach into the book at times and throttle a couple of the more annoying tagalongs!
I love the banter and humor between the sisters and the author always seems to know when the reader needs a good laugh. One thing I love about this series is the fact that although Wren is only 15 and Robyn is 17, they seem to have more common sense and survival skills than the adults they encounter.
I can’t wait for the next book to see what Mr. Artinian has in store for our intrepid heroines! The narrator, Kim Bretton, is absolutely perfect for this series and she does a fantastic job once again in her performance. I was given the chance to listen to the audiobook version of this book by the author and chose to review it.
Book 3 just about blew my mind! Robyn and Wren continue to rise to meet their challenges, while leave me breathless with anticipation over what they’ll face next, and crying over the loss they faced. I need to know whats next for them, I need book 4! 5 stars just doesn’t seem enough!
Another great addition to the series! Continues to wow!
The End of Everything: Book 3 by Christopher Artinian and narrated by Kim Bretton is another great addition to the series! Recommend if you’ve been following this series or looking for a new zompoc adventure with strong female leads.
Wren and Robyn continue to make their way through the zompie apocalypse. Every day is a struggle. Every day it’s a new threat. Who’s a friend? Who’s a foe? This time the sisters unknowingly venture into a cult. We get a good amount zombie action, but it’s not as intense at the previous books (lots of other dangers). The sister’s relationship continues to grow and the banter continues. I enjoyed the pop-culture references/jokes. I once again listened to this straight through (who needs to sleep?).
The narrator, Kim Bretton, did a wonderful job again. I love how she brings the sisters to life.
Overall, I highly recommend this series, but starting from the beginning. There’s a reason these books get so many 5 star reviews.
Parental guidance/trigger warnings: religious fanatics, physical abuse, some swearing throughout, violence, death, psychos, or similar subject matter.
*I was given a free review copy of the audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. Thank you for allowing me to listen and review the book!
Wow this Series just gets better with each read. I love how these sisters banter with so much caring. And fight for one another. The Narrator and Author have done such a fantastic job these characters just jump off the pages. I get so caught up in the book I just loose track of time. Theres twists and turns that you definitely don’t want to miss. This is absolutely must read.
