Enjoyed immensely !!
You can never go wrong with several authors I love, including Dan Walsh!
Another one of Dan Wash’s books I had a hard time putting down. Thank you, Mr. Walsh. I loved the way John stood up for his faith and Laura exemplified the spirit of Christ.
I normally don’t respond to feedback requests but this book was a fantastic read, in my opinion. Well written and enjoyable…while at the same time un-fun and tragic. Please read and judge for yourself.
Based on a true story! This author skillfully weaves together a suspenseful tale of providence and heartfelt romance. Great characters. It’s a page-turner set in 1857.
Loved this book – the courage & faith in God of the main characters was inspiring
I loved everything about this book from the story, characters (especially Mr. Micah) to a profounding truth revealed at the end. It is so well written and love the inclusion of scripture at the perfect times. It is so refreshing to find an author who doesn’t need bad language or sex to tell a good story. I have read several books that Dan Walsh has written and love them all. Thank you, Dan!
Amazing story based on a true story.
Mr. Walsh writes characters you truly care about and weaves an interesting story. Very good read!
I usually read for entertainment, as most of my reading is done on my exercise bike! Witty fiction, romance, mystery— That sort of thing. So this was not my usual fare. But the storyline was so engaging that I was drawn to it. The author drew on some real-life historical events, some quite miraculous. These are detailed after the close of the novel, but DON’T take a sneak peek, as they contain spoilers!
Great book! Good story line, well-written, can’t put it down! Highly recommend! The kind you want to share with a friend!
A very touching book about faith in God and man . It makes one realize the trials and hardships people had to endure in the early years.
Overall I enjoyed reading this book. I didn’t realize until I read the author’s comments that there had been an actual ship go down during a hurricane. Worth reading.
I love the way that the writer Dan Walsh turned historical facts into a great read!
Laura waited a long time to find just the right life partner and then on their honeymoon the most unthinkable happened.
The Deepest Waters was an excellent story from beginning to end. I loved the continuing adventures of the characters, how the author wove them seamlessly together, and didn’t fail to increase the tension with every chapter. The opening of the story reminded me of the tale of Titanic, and though the two ships and their tragedies are very different, this story certainly held its own. This is my first Dan Walsh book, but certainly not my last.
Another fantastic story from Dan Walsh!
I couldn’t put this book down. I got so involved with the story, the characters, and my hopes for the ending. I highly recommend this book. Read it and love the great feeling it brings.
An excellent book that will keep you reading. Some twists and turns along with good character development, and great underlying message.
Don’t know what to say. Good book. I enjoyed it. It had a Happily-ever-after ending, but that’s okay. Not everything has to end with the hero/heroine struggling to go on. Comfortable read.
Beautiful story.
