Great characters and very entertaining.
I just finishe reading this last night. I can truly say it is so good I didn’t put it down intil I finised the whole book. My eyes were burning from laughing and being really tired but unable to stop until it was finished. Great read!
I appreciate a well written, clean book. Bring on more!
Drags just a little
Two people sparring since school days. Meet after many years. Learn to work together and much more. Enjoyed reading
A very enjoyable story. I wanted to know more after I finished the last page. The story could have gone on much longer in my opinion. I loved it!!
I usually really enjoy Ms. Lessman’s books, but this one is not my favorite. I wanted to really like this book, but Liberty was hard to like, in my opinion. Rather than finding her to be a strong, independent woman, she came across to me as rather rude and ill mannered as well as presumptuous and arrogant in thinking she knows everything. I also didn’t care for the way that she treated Finn. I felt like everything she accused him of being (ex: “mule of a bully with a hair trigger temper”) actually fit her. I just kept thinking that she would win more people and get her way more often if she wasn’t so spiteful, pushy, rude, and bossy. There’s a way to be strong and independent and passionate without being those things. She made the book hard to enjoy. I did like Finn a bit better and did enjoy some of the moments as their relationship changed and built. But it’s kind of hard to have hope for a couple to last when they had some of the problems they did, especially with Liberty’s character seeming to be immature in so many ways.
