I LOVED this book! It was the first I read of Dan Walsh’s, but I immediately read more! I love the undercurrent of God’s guidance even in the midst of sometimes harrowing circumstances. Everyone needs to read these books!
Emotional story of love and devotion and the wonderful, miraculous way in which God works in the affairs of man.
Loved this book. Well paced and interesting!
I love when historical fiction is well written and the author includes details which are not dropped in the story. I enjoyed the book from start to finish.
I really enjoyed this book on many levels. It’s a great love story as well as a great adventure. The characters are interesting and realistic. An added bonus is what you learn from the history. I have always enjoyed Dan Walsh, but this is one of his best.
With the libraries closed, and mail orders have slowed down, I retrieved The Deepest Waters out of my library to read for the second time. This is a wonderful book with realistic characters. I love a story with a happy ending.
What a beautiful story! The story was amazing, especially knowing that the main circumstances were factual. I loved the way God intervened in control of the situation throughout. The faith of the elderly slave was an inspiration and a harsh reminder of my own blessings which often are taken for granted. Thank you for this fitting reminder!
Enjoy this author. This book kept me interested until the end. This is a (great) read.
I read this book in one day. I enjoy Dan Walsh’s books very much.
Amazing story based on a real shipwreck. A great historical read. Characters were well developed and I was caught up in the interesting twists and turns of their lives. Loved that the author included a section on what was true, great for history buff!
Can’t say enough about what a great read this was and loved the way the author kept you connected and reading!! Anxious to read more of his books!
I loved this book. Even more so when I realized some of the events were factual.
Anything by Dan Walsh, in my opinion, is worth reading. This book was so gripping, I couldn’t put it down….wondering what would happen next.
Love all Can Walsh
A good inspirational read that I really enjoyed. I hadn’t heard of this tragic event before reading this book and the facts noted at the end of the story were interesting.
I really enjoyed this book. It was a good clean love story and somewhat suspenseful as to whether the two main characters would get back together and how soon. It was tragic due to lost lives. I could read it again and enjoy it just as much as the first reading.
Great historical book based on true incidents.
Stayed up half the night
This is a wonderful historical fiction about an event that really happened. Great descriptive language helped me to picture the events as I was reading.
This was a great book. I recommend this book.
