Boyfriend (n.)1) A frequent or regular male companion with whom one has a romantic or sexual relationship.2) A myth. A legend. Impossible to find. According to her eighty-year-old neighbor, Lizzie Donovan is looking for Mr. Right in all the wrong places. Though it’s made great fodder for her blog, Lizzie is finally tired of swiping left and awful blind dates, and she’s ready to take Mrs. … she’s ready to take Mrs. Skinner’s advice and find love the old-fashioned way. Goodbye dating app, hello grocery store, book store, dog park, and wherever else she might be able to meet a good man. And she really has nothing to lose. Not only will she be entertained along the way, but even if she ends up alone, she’ll always have her longtime best friend, Aiden, by her side.
Friend zone (n.)
1) A situation in which a friendship exists between two people, one of whom has an unreciprocated romantic or sexual interest in the other.
2) Location of Aiden Wallace.
According to his eighty-year-old neighbor, Aiden Wallace has been friend zoned. And that’s mostly his fault because instead of opening his eyes and seeing what was right in front of him, Aiden has spent the last several years enjoying the single life. But things have changed—he has changed—and now he needs his best friend, Lizzie, to stop shoving him into the friend zone so he can work at winning her heart. Until then, he’s stuck watching her string of dating disasters and wishing she’d believe him when he tells her he’s the one.

This was a cute story and feel good moments, no drama at all, I love a friends to lovers story!
This was such an amazingly, perfectly lighthearted book! I loved seeing Lizzie’s awful dating adventures! She always comes home to complain about her dates to Aiden, her best friend who has finally realized that his feelings for her are less friendly, and way more romantic. I loved watching these two try to figure out past miscommunications to work their way to a HEA.
I loved this whole book! The characters were amazing! The dialouge was full of banter! I can’t wait to read it again!!
The Boyfriend Blog by K.L. Grayson was one hundred percent rom com goodness! The characters were amazing and so adorable. The sweet romance filled my heart with swoony feelings and glowing happiness. I had a blast with Lizzie and Aiden.
This was a feel good enemies to lover romance with enough twists so that it won’t be boring. Lizzie and Aiden have been best friends forever. And they also physically attracted to each other. But they never crossed the line as they did not want to lose their special bond. And even if Aiden tried, Liz shot him down because a particularly traumatic memory. Her dating life is a disaster and so she has started a blog to vent out about her love life. She doesn’t know this secret blog would also give Aiden enough resource to pursue her. Crossing over to the lover side was not easy. Specially because Liz has trust issues and Aiden can be a stupid guy sometimes.
The power of the story is it’s simplicity. Boy meets girl. They become friends and then fall in love. Various obstacles stand between them and their HEA. This is quintessentially romance from first chapter to last. The second major strength is how the author crafts the beautiful chemistry between Aiden and Lizzie. Both of them are easy going, witty and charming persons. And their relationship made me swoon and laugh so hard. They are so perfect and heart melting together. Sometimes they fight and bicker but even those made me smile like a crazy person. They also have enough fire to make you hot. The misunderstandings and heartbreaks made this a story with shades and layers.
If you want a feel good romance with brilliant characters and great story line, The Boyfriend Blog by K.L. Grayson is perfect for you. It was a relaxing, charming and emotional story. Perfect to indulge in after a long stressful day.

The Boyfriend Blog by K.L. Grayson was such a fun and delightful read! I just loved it! A friends to lovers story that was light, enjoyable and charming. Lizzie and Aiden have been friends for what seems like forever. She is ready for Mr. Right, but according to her adorable and charming older neighbor, she has been looking in all the wrong places. So, she begins to look for new ways to find that elusive Mr. Right and continues to share her experiences on her boyfriend blog.
Aiden knows he was friend zoned a while back, but he also knows Lizzie is the one for him. He is tired of watching her go through one failed date after another. But how does he show her he is the one for her and make her believe it? I love their friendship and watching them fall was fun and entertaining! And their neighbor was a hoot! I loved The Boyfriend Blog by K.L. Grayson. This is a must-read for sure!

I enjoy a good friends to lovers romance. It’s one of my favorite troupes. This book sucked me right in. The characters are engaging and instantly have you rooting for them. The humor was a huge added bonus. Lizzie and Aiden have a long history as friends and you can feel the connection they already have. Now Aiden who has been friend zoned for some unknown reason he has his work cutout for him to change Lizzie’s mind about him. Lizzie has her reasons for friend zoning Aiden, but she can’t deny there are feelings there for him. I thought it was sweet how Aiden is there for Lizzie through all her dating mishaps. You really feel how much Aiden cares for Lizzie. He is a man whose actions back up his words. Though he is going to back a bonehead mistake, but he better pray Lizzie can forgive him. I also loved Lizzie and Aiden’s neighbor Edna. It shows you the true colors of Aiden and Lizzie how they help her out. It just endears me more to Lizzie and Aiden. I would highly recommend this one. It has plenty of heart, but also plenty of humor that will have you laughing through out the book.
What an amazing book!
I loved this book so much it’s unreal!
Aiden and Lizzie was absolutely perfect together, i love the whole friends to lovers trope so i knew I’d love it!
From the first page it had me hooked, i loved everything about this book, it was so easy to read and get into that before i knew it i had read 20% of the book!
I really liked Lizzie, i liked her inner ramblings on her blog and just how she was with Aiden she was just looking for Mr Right in all the wrong places.
Aiden was beautiful, i bloody loved him so much. He was so amazing to read, he knew he wanted the girl he just needed her to see him.
K.L. Grayson has really smashed it out of the park with this one!
Lizzie has had her gorgeous neighbor/best friend in the friend zone for years, ever since he handed her heart back to her, broken badly. You see, he is was a big player, and his rejection hurt. But he’s changed his ways and he’s wanted out of the zone for awhile now. It kills him every time she comes over and complains about her latest disastrous date. Can he convince her to give him a chance to prove how good they can be if they step over that invisible line of friendship?
Friends to lovers is definitely my jam, and I’m always on the lookout for good ones. Well I found one that’s more than good, it’s excellent. The Boyfriend Blog is sweet, sexy, and Aiden and Lizzie are the cutest, most adorable friends to more couple that’s graced my Kindle in a long time. Oh, and the secondary cast is just as great as our couple – Aiden’s brother, Calvin, and Edna, the hilarious senior who loves both Lizzie and Aiden, round out this stellar romance and provide lots of laughs and love for the two when they’re in need of advice, comfort, and more than one nudge in the right direction.
A sweet and heartwarming story. It has everything you’re looking for. Characters you will love. The connection and banter between the characters is steamy. It’s fun and entertaining story that will take away from everyday stress. Don’t want to miss this one.
Okay- really cute and honestly, I was laughing out loud during poor Lizzie’s dating fiascos.
As always, I love KL Grayson’s words! I feel she nails the male POV and I always fall hard for her heros. This book was no exception.
Well done When I want a light hearted read, I know I’ll be picking this one up again.
K.L Grayson has delivered an amazing read! The Boyfriend Blog is a fun, sweet, quick read. Grayson puts a fun spin on online dating.
This book!! As someone who has had to stick their toe back into the dating world I found this book to be hilarious and kind of accurate. Dating is hard!! I love that Lizzie Donovan decides to document her experience in online dating in her blog. You honestly never actually know what you’ll get when you decide to meet someone from online. Aiden Wallace is the man next door and Mr. Right now. He’s not end game, long term. Or maybe he is?
I absolutely adored Aiden and Lizzie as individuals and together. Their friendship started so many years ago before they even realized it. The memories they have will last a lifetime, and will be amazing stories to tell their kids and grandkids.
The Boyfriend Blog is an amazing friends to lovers romance. Grayson was able to add just the right amount of steaminess, fun, and angst. I love the dynamic that them being best friends brought to this book.
The Boyfriend Blog was the perfect rom-com! I didn’t realize I needed this book until I read it! Grayson delivers not only amazing main characters but the perfect set of side characters to match them! The plot, the writing, everything was amazing and created this fantastic, fun read! If you like rom-coms you need this book!
If your new to dating again in the time period you know how impossible it is and omg how awkward this book is so funny and so sweet. SWOOOONNNNNNN I want my own Aiden. These two are the best of friends and neither want that to change but also feeling change , people change. Lizzies hearts been broken by the one person she wants the most Only his side is different from hers…..
Lizzie (Lizzie Lou) poor girl is looking for Mr. Right instead of Mr. Right now. She started a dating blog no one knows about. Only Edna her eldery neighbor who is a hoot, She’s gone on alot of dates and they are awful and funny. So shes taking Edna’s advise to get out and meet men the old fashion way.
Aiden was a ladies man till he decided he wanted something more and that something more has been turning him down. Hes not sure how much more he can take of her saying NO.. Now he will try anything to get the girl only it might cost him if she finds out.
“Boyfriend wanted:Loyal and funny,Wait…I just described a dog. I should buy a dog.”
“Are nap dates a thing?Because that’s something I can work with.”
“If it makes you feel better, I see so many vaginas, they all eventually look alike.”
“Absolutely not. That would be rude after what happened to you tonight. Plus, asking you out gives you the chance to say no.”

“Most of all, I’m sorry that I didn’t choose you right away. I’ll regret that until the day I die, but I’ll prove to you that it’ll never happen again.”
The Boyfriend Blog is a cute Rom-Com with what I think, is the best trope – Best Friends To Lovers. Aiden and Lizzie’s story is a light read, that held some great qualities. But before we go into that, I want to say I adore this author’s writing style. It was easy to follow and it flowed wonderfully. Okay, back to Lizzie and Aiden. I loved the whole idea of Boyfriend Blog, adeptly named by this author as well. It was different than I have seen done before, but great nonetheless. I really enjoyed watching Lizzie go through the steps to find her HEA, it wasn’t always easy, but she dealt with what was handed to her. My favorite part about her going through the motions, her best friend was by her side the whole time. I adored the connection that Lizzie and Aiden had. It is so rare, and yet felt so real, which in turn made for great chemistry. Both characters were witty with great banter, and even better dialogue. In general, all of the characters were amazing, especially Edna. I loved the relationship the main characters shared with her. It was truly one of a kind. Overall, this was a wonderful read.
*I RECOMMEND THIS BOOK.
Not only was this one funny but this one was heart warming. I absolutely loved reading this one. I loved the friendship between Lizzie and Aiden. I loved how no matter what these two are there for each other. But then things start to change. Lizzie and Aiden have been friends forever. Lizzie has been going on blind dates left and right. Ever single date seems to end badly. Then her neighbor Edna tells her to stop with the app dating and go out in public and try to meet someone. So that is what Lizzie does. Little does she know Aiden is trying his hardest to make her realize what is right in front of her. There is such great chemistry between these two. I absolutely love the banter and how well these two get along. There was tender moments, funny moments and just some jaw dropping moments. I absolutely loved this one and would highly recommend it. Ladies unfortunately this happens to all of us in real life at one time or another. We can all easily relate to this book and these characters. That is why I loved this book so much.
If you love romantic comedy style books then you will love The Boyfriend Blog’ by K.L. Grayson.
The story is of Lizzie, a young singleton looking for love amongst a string of bad dates. Her dating history is horrendous, and the stories she can tell are so outrageous that she compiled them all into an online blog.
Despite how disheartened she is over her unsuccessful dates, Lizzie always takes comfort in being able to show up at her best friend Aiden’s house, where she can have a bitch and a moan and he can make her feel better. But little does Lizzie know that Aiden doesn’t quite feel comfortable remaining in the Friend Zone any longer, but will he have the guts to make his move, and at what cost?
This book was entertaining, addictive and I read it all in one sitting. I wished that the blog posts and bad dates went on a little longer, as they were really humorous and were a really good addition to an already well thought out story.
I like the interaction between the characters and their friends, it felt real and original, and I could imagine it all playing out. Aiden is a good guy, he was dreamy and I loved how he was always there for Lizzie no matter what.
Overall a feel good romance that will have you hooked. Perfect for all romance lovers.
The Boyfriend Blog is a super cute, friends-to-lovers romance. It is a reflection of the world we live in today, focusing on the new way to meet and date. Most of us know someone who’s tried social media and dating apps and maybe even know people who’ve found their happily ever after. If you haven’t had to wade into the dating waters since the world of meeting people has been turned on it’s head with a multitude of online options, then perhaps you have no idea of the terrors that await.
KL Grayson gives us a humorous look and the possible pitfalls of blind dates. Whether you’ve been set up by well-meaning friends or family, or whether you’ve swiped left or right on your own, there is no telling what awaits you when you arrive at your mutually agreed upon location. It helps if you are able to take life in stride, not sweat the small stuff, and learn to laugh and have fun.
Lizzie Donovan has decided to search out her soul mate and document it in a blog. Her actual soul mate might live right next door and she might have know him since she was six years old, but he isn’t interested, or is he. Aiden Wallace may have been Mr. Right Now for a while, but something finally clicked and he is ready to be Mr. Right for Lizzie, if only she would give him a chance.
The love story of Lizzie and Aiden started when they were six and they have been making memories to tell their grandchildren ever since, they just didn’t know it at the time. The Boyfriend Blog is a sweet, sexy, and fun read with just a tad of frustration and angst to make you grit your teeth and roll your eyes. Lizzie sure can be stubborn, but Aiden knows she is worth the wait. I loved these characters, most of the time. Lizzie got on my nerves a few times but then again, I know a thing or too about being a stubborn female.
This story also has some very lovable side characters, the elderly neighbor, Edna, being one of them. I have recently come to notice that I love it when young lovers get the benefit of friendship, advice, and possibly meddling from older characters. They have so much experience to impart and give an element of sentimental tradition to the story. If it weren’t for Edna, Lizzie may have taken a while longer to, as Aiden so elegantly put it, get her head out of her @$$.
I love epilogues – they can make or break a story for me. I’m a sucker for them and I search the table of contents prior to reading to see if one is included. If there’s a happy ending, then I want to have a few moments to bask in the happiness; spend some heartfelt moments with the characters that I just escaped reality with. As epilogues go, KL Grayson hit it out of the park! OMG! All the loose ends tied up with pink and blue bows and sentimental gestures worthy of the very best bbf’s. Actually, my absolute favourite part of the story is the last blog post and all the comments. So funny! I will keep Aiden and Lizzie in my heart for a while. Their love story touched my heart and made me believe that soul mates are out there, you just have to open your eyes to the possibilities.
Lizzie and Aiden are both hilarious and swoony. I adore poor Lizzie’s ability to attract the absolute worst possible dates. Her stories are hilarious and unmatched! And Aiden is just the best possible guy – but he does make mistakes. They both do, just like real people on a journey to finding and claiming their soulmate.
This friends to lovers story is super sweet, real, and a fantastic quick read!

I loved this book. It was a really enjoyable read that was easy to get lost in.
Lizzie and Aiden have been friends forever. He’s the one that picks her up when she’s had yet another bad date (she has a lot of bad dates so they spend a lot of time together). After so many horrible dates Lizzie starts writing The Boyfriend Blog, sharing her experiences with her followers. She’s completely blind to the fact that Aiden has changed and now he’s prepared to put himself out there if it means he’ll end up with Lizzie.
This is a fantastic book. There’s literally nothing about it that I didn’t like. The characters are easy to like and Aiden will have you swooning all the swoons. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a sweet, friends to more romance.
Can Mr. Right now, become Mr. Forever???
The Boyfriend Blog is my first book by K.L. Grayson, but it certainly won’t be my last. This was a sweet, adorable and sexy friends to lovers story with the bent heavy on the guy, Aiden, doing his utmost to get the girl, Lizzie to ‘see’ him.
These two have been friends since they were six. Lizzie was crushing hard on Aiden during their college years, but when she took the plunge to show him, he reacted badly and has been locked in the ‘friend zone’ ever since.
It took years for Aiden to realise just how deep his love for Lizzie was, but by that time she was firmly of the view he was Mr Right Now, not forever. But that’s exactly what he wants with her.
Forever.
Living in the same apartment block doesn’t help with separation. Add in Lizzie telling Aiden all about her heartbreaks and their mutual care for their elderly neighbor, Edna and they are already like a couple, just not living together.
Edna may be old, but it just makes her wise enough to see the truth and use her matchmaking skills to pull it all together.
I devoured this book in one sitting. It’s just the warmest, and light-hearted of stories. Perfect for a cold winter’s reading to heat you up. Grab your copy today.
This was a super cute book that kept me turning the pages and was fast paced with humor, love and witty one liners. Lizzie has a fear of losing Aiden as a best friend if they were to take their relationship in a different direction. When he starts to sabotage her this becomes a laugh out loud book. There was definitely chemistry from the beginning with these two and you can feel the connection between them. It was fun to watch these two navigate the line between lovers and friends and I was very happy with the ending. Great little book and I was sad to see their story end.
A cute and sweet friends to lovers romance. This is Lizzie and Aiden’s story. They have been friends since they were little kids and when they got older, they each seperately realized they liked the other but didn’t know how to tell the other. It’s a sweet, funny, romantic yet with a comedic twist romance. It has the heartwarming moments, the feels touches and some steamy moments yet its just a cute read that will have you smiling as you read. I liked Lizzie and Aiden’s story and them as friends then them as a couple. Good story!
