Gah! Loved all the characters and the wonderful story! I have to go back and read Power Play. And then back in order.
I think when I first read Alley Ciz’s Power Play, I was taken back to a time when I had left school and was around the same age as the Characters in this book. It reminded me of my time but it was before mobile phones (when really it wasnt that long ago lol).
But here we are a few years later, school is gone Careers are being forged, friendships are still as strong, but these guys have certainly grown up. Alley Ciz was “holding out “on us in Power Play, and in a way it is respectful of the age they were at the time.
Now there is no holding back and OMFG these guys have grown up and I loved the digital world we are now in.
The Commeraderie is amazing the setting of the scenes and events that have happened since leaving school. This time we are back with rocky and Gage’s story.
I want Gage Im jealous of Rocky and I absolutely adored how he fell hard and fast and he wasnt afraid to show it to Rocky and to her dad.
you just have to read this book, I dont need to tell you the plot read the blurb and do yourself a bloody favour and read it. Gage doesnt lose ever, and gage is not going to lose the girl
This band of friends makes you want to be part of them and i enjoyed this book so much. Alley is on a winner here with the BTU Alumni Series.
Gage seriously hot seriously BIG.
In most books you read you know that our Hero’s and heroines have slept with previous people and it is not discussed or it is always “irrelevant”. I loved how Gage recalled previous women he had seen wearing his t-shirts when they stayed, but none looked as good as Rocky.
I absolutely loved the honesty of this.
But Alley omfg that “titty F#%k scene lol.
I for one cannot wait for the next book in this series, as if this is anything to go by, Alley just keeps better as the Series moves forward.
Thanks Alley Great story Great Friends Great Sex. 🙂
I didn’t think it was possible for me to love a book more than I did book one, but I kind of did. I loved the chemistry between Gage and Rocky from the beginning and swooned all the way to the end. Rocky was a total bada$$ chick, I want to be her when I grow up! I also totally envy the relationship of The Coven and the rest of their crew. The banter between them kept me laughing throughout which is reason enough to want to be one of them but then to add in how protective they are of their people and I am a goner. Alley really out did herself with this one, I need to dive into book three now!
OHMIGOSH! I absolutely LOVED Rocky & Gage!!! Just like in Power Play there was so much chemistry between the two main characters! Alley is amazing with drawing me in to the “angst” between these two! I didn’t want to put the book down! It was a bit repetitive again, but I’m learning to like that aspect of this series!!
Tap Out is the second book in the BTU Alumni series by Alley Ciz and focuses on the story between Rocky and Gage. Unlike her first one, this one focuses on the MMA fighters in the book world. We get glimpses of past characters and together, they all come together to create a series that is simply AMAZING! Seriously, y’all, I love this series.
Gage is a champion fighter who is looking for a new gym to call home. When he finds out his cousin is expecting his first baby with his wife, Gage knows he has to be closer to them, so he packs up and moves out there. While out at the bar with his cousin, he sees Rocky in all her glory.
Rocky is a kick-butt and take names kind of girl. I seriously have the biggest girl crush on all things that make her awesome! I want to be her! Rocky works for the gym that Gage is considering calling his new home, and also has harbored the biggest celebrity crush on him ever. When he comes into the gym, she can’t help but swoon!
The undeniable tension between them is unmatched but Rocky’s got a rule – no dating fighters. But the tension between her and Gage is so thick and through all that tension, she can only stop herself for so long before gives in to temptation. And y’all, Gage is ALL sorts of temptation that make you want to drop everything and let him take you on a ride.
Their story is sweet and funny, with the Coven bringing in an extra dose of sass and class to the world of the BTU Alum. This series is everything and I can’t wait to watch as each of the alumni find their own piece of happiness!
Gage and Rocky are seriously #couplegoals and I love their story so much!
This book is another fantastic read by Alley Ciz. I can’t begin to tell you how addicted I am to her sports romance books. I binge read all three books in the BTU Alumni Series (admittedly out-of-order having read book 3 first). Gage is A UFC fighting, alpha hottie, dealing with the pressure to maintain his title and relocating. The very last thing he needs is the added complication of his coach’s daughter – Rocky. Rockey is a physical therapist surrounded by hot athletes that do no test her professional resolve until her secret crush Gage lands on her radar. The chemistry is hot, the fireworks explosive. I love sports romance books and male leads who go after what they want like a dog on a bone and this book oozes that. Add the phenomenal female friendship network of the coven and this book hands down becomes one of my favorite reads.
”Getting involved with a girl was bad enough. His new coaches daughter- worst idea ever.”
Tap out is book 2 in the BTU Alumni series and can be read as a stand-alone, but if you want the full effect and you want to know all of the inside jokes then make sure you read Power Play first as you will be seeing a lot of the crew from there in this book.
I love MMA romances, and Alley Ciz killed it will Tap Out. She bought to life not only the BTU world but all of the sports that makes up a large part of their world too.
“You play dirty.”
”You have no idea how dirty.”
Gage James, MMA Heavyweight Champion, loner, career focused and straight up panty melting.
Rocky Steele, bad ass, Coven member and my new best friend.
There are certain scenes in this book that you want to read when you are on your own because HOT DAMN
Alley Ciz bought the emotion, the heat and the passion that damn well made my panties melt.
“If I could live off the taste of you I would.”
The push and pull and the forbidden aspect of Tap Out made me feel like I wanted to combust.
The witty comments, the characters sense of humour and the banter had me absolutely dying! I also swooned hard because Gage James ain’t no joke! He’s alpha, sexy, disciplined and family orientated.
(Kinda makes you want him to be real huh?)
Return to the BTU world where you can party and be best friends with The Coven, Laugh your ass off with all of the hockey and MMA guys antics and swoon so damn hard you may need medical attention.
Alley Ciz killed it with Tap Out and you should all go and read it when it releases on September 9th.
I really love this world and group of characters. There’s quite a span of time between this and the first one in the series, and because of that lots has happened that I still have questions about and hope to get answers to eventually.
This story follows Rocky and Gage, a bad-ass heroine (they all are in this world, it’s fantastic and you can’t help but admire them and want to be like them) and the newest fighter to join her dad’s gym. Instant, intense chemistry. All the reasons it’s forbidden for them to get together, so of course all the more desire to do so. Fantastic supporting cast of friends. Great, deep world to sink your teeth into. All around, fantastic read! I love this series!
A great continuation of the BTU Alumni group with a twist (MMA vs. hockey)! Absolutely loved Gage and Rocky together and their instant chemistry is HOT!!!! I loved how Rocky was stuck where she thought she should be and Gage came in to show her that it is truly where she is meant to be. Also loved the cameos from the whole BTU crew and can’t wait for more!!!!
This book was such a fun read. Loved the characters and the storyline. Loved the surprise too. Makes me want to get my own coven tattoo.
What can I say, Gage and Rocky are awesome
The Coven are awesome
Everything about this book is awesome
The gang is back, with a few added extras…when I grow up, I want to be friends with these guys
Alley has found her stride, this author is one to watch…I cannot wait for more from her
PS. Jase is mine
WOW!!!! This series just got HOTTER and I already NEED more!
Gage ‘The Kraken’ James is Rocky’s celebrity crush. Somebody that she would have given anything to meet…but the chance to date him!!! HECK YEA!! He’s such a hottie and everything he does to try to claim Rocky as his was so swoonworthy!
He’s been on his own for so long, he doesn’t know how to deal with the crew that comes with Rocky. She has such a huge group of friends and family that support her in huge ways! As Gage starts training at gym that Rocky’s family owns; he not only grows close to her but also starts to feel that same support she gets from all her friends. They take him in as one of their own and before long the lonely life he led before is long gone.
I don’t normally read many MMA books, it’s just not what I’ve gravitated towards. Alley Ciz story incorporates more than just that world into her book. I feel like that made it really easy to appeal to someone like myself who isn’t as into that world as others might be. When I finished this book, I realized I enjoyed it more than I have any other fighter books I’ve read. This group of characters span across different professions and relationships. They basically have created their own little family. Even though she has a wide range of characters in this series, my favorites have to be The Coven. That kickbutt group of ladies who are going to RULE THE WORLD! The friendship among these ladies is only part of what makes these books so great. How accepting and hilarious they are…it would make you want to be their best friends too!
I read Power Play; which is book 1 in the BTU Alumni series. I enjoyed it but I loved Tap Out! You can definitely see a lot of growth in the author’s writing. I am loving this series and all the characters involved, I can’t wait to see what all she has in store for them along the way.
Alley Ciz throws us another Knockout with her latest Book Tap out, starring main characters Gage James and Rocky. I always love a good MMA Romance novel, but this surpasses them all! I love the main heroine Rocky! She is strong, beautiful and graceful. When Gage firsts meets her, he finds that she is very hard to resist, even though he should. The Chemistry between Rocky and Gage is off the charts!! One of my favorite things about this books is how seamlessly it flows from Alleys First Book Power Play. I love the continued banter and friendships between the Coven that she continues in this book. It adds an amazing element to this series that you wont read any where else. This book is one of my top favorites of 2019! I can not wait to read the rest of the books in this amazing series.
I was given an advance readers copy of this book and have decided to write a voluntary honest review. Honestly Alley blew me away with Tapp Out, I couldn’t put it down and honestly didn’t want to. I was so into this book and the characters I was sad to see it end lol. I absolutely love Rocky I love her girl who can handle herself. And cage my God he’s just perfect. I love UFC fights fights nights are always watched with the hubby the big ones. And I have to say Alley did this book and the sport more then justice. I can’t wait for Vince’s book next. But I have strong connection and attraction to Jase.
Alley Ciz is a master at captivating her audience, torturing them to the highest degree possible but that relief. . .girl it is sweet and you won’t Tap out!
I loved Gage so much that I licked him as mine–yes you can fight me anytime, I have time. LOL No seriously, Gage is just soooo damn swoon worthy, trust me there is just something hot about him and I was dying each time he whispered in Rocky’s ear.
Rocky is a strong girl, and she has always wanted Gage even before they met. Can you believe in fate? You will after reading this gem! Loved it!
Well Alleys second book did not disappoint. This was also the first fighter book I’ve read and I absolutely love it and need more. Both characters were kick ass! I’m in love with Gage and want to be Rocky when I grow up…even though I’m much older than her haha. If you have read Alleys first book Power Play your definitely going to want to read this book which is book 2 in the BTU Alumni series. I’ll say the same thing I did with book one that I’m not much into sport themed romances but Alley hooked me hard with hers. It definitely changed my opinion. I dont like to give too much away so let me just say you need to read this new release! Alley you did an amazing job and I cant wait for the next book
OMG!!!! What can I say but excellent job Alley Ciz. Tap Out was everything I was expecting and so much more. I felt in love with Alley’s writing in Power Play when I met “The Coven” and “The Guys”. In Tap Out we met Gage ”The Kraken “ and Rocky “Alphabet Soup”(just by their nicknames you know their personalities are going to be one of a kind). Their chemistry is off the charts and I love the fact that even do the sexy scenes were steamy hot (melt your panties hot you better have a fan next to you ) they also were a lot of sweet and caring moments, they stood for each other to face challenges that they encounter. Gage and Rocky were the perfect couple for me and I absolutely love them. “Heck” the whole gang of friends are one of a kind I think I enjoyed so much their interactions when they were texting each other( hilarious by the way ) or when they were in the presence of each other making me feel like I was part of the gang. I had so much fun reading Tap Out and even though it can be read as a stand-alone book I would definitely recommend reading Power Play first.
Wow! Just WOW! Author Alley Ciz delivers another addicting and utterly swoon-worthy read! Book two in the BTU alumni series, Tap Out, is deliciously sexy, completely forbidden, and sure to steal your heart! If you thought you couldn’t love the BTU crew more in Jake & Jordan’s story, get ready to make room, because Tap Out dishes out even more characters to love and another sports romance to die for! I’m positive while reading that I felt every range of emotions. I laughed out loud, cheered hard, swooned harder, and fell head over heels for Rocky & Gage.
Author Alley Ciz is exceptional at making readers feel like one of the squad. I promise once you’ve read Tap Out, you’ll be dying to be a full-fledged member of the infamous Coven! Tap Out brings all the feels, and gets all the stars!
Enjoy a cast of completely lovable characters, addicting romance, and a hotter than hot connection! One-click Tap Out today! Enjoy xo
This is Alley Ciz’s second book. Reading it, it feels like she has been writing forever. I love, love, love Gage and Rocky!! Rocky is strong, independent and smart. A true role model and inspiration. An absolute badass. Gage is sexy, strong and alpha. Hot. Hot. Hot!!! Alley has so much talent, making these characters come alive for us. She not only created the ultimate hot couple, but she has given us a group of friends that make us laugh, get excited and cheer them on. The witty banter and the unyielding loyalty is just perfection. I devoured this book. I truly love everything about it. Cannot wait to read everything she puts out for us!!
I was lucky enough to recieve a pre-release copy of this baby and let me tell you…Mrs. Ciz definitely showcased her talent with this one. Tap Out rocked! Get it? Ha.
Anyway, the story follows Gage and Rocky. Rocky Steele is a physical therapist at her father’s gym and Gage is an MMA fighter who happens to be Rocky’s celebrity crush.
I love Rocky. Her and the coven were the definition of girl power. Gage was alphamale and delicious all the way. The two of them were perfection.
Get ready for humor, heat, friendship, badass chicks who could possibly rule the world, and did I mention there’s sexy MMA fighters?
Yeah, you need to read this! 5 stars!
