“She’s generous because that’s who she is, and everyone loves her for it. She went from the reason the world was broken to becoming their saving grace.” -Paxton
Atlanta and her band of innocents are free… Free of Prigham’s and the cruel guards and oblivious warden. But they will never truly be free until “The Sins of the Father” law is overturned…
“I will not let Prigham’s change me into something I was never meant to become. I am too beautiful to be bitter. I’m too purpose-driven to be haunted by the flaws of the past.” – Arlanna
Arlanna has a plan; a plan to make the world listen… To SEE the wrongness of the law that punishes the innocent for the sins of the guilty. But she is fighting on another front; battling to keep her loves safe… And when Sloan is taken as a guarantee of her blind obedience, the world is stunned at her response…
“The world might never understand my actions, but in this moment of moments, I know the path I need to go down. I also know there will be no coming back from this.” – Arlanna
This is the most intense, complex, complicated book of the trilogy. The multiple plot threads, the dangerous and twisted love that her father has for her; the machinations of others, all trying to bend Arlanna to their will… The old magics are awakening… And no one is safe…
I really enjoyed this series. I particularly liked the social issues that were addressed. It’s a great way to get people to think about things like the inequalities between races, the use of cheap nearly “free” labor, and as Twomey says in the afterward, mass incarceration.
As usual, great character development, good suspense, and Twomey wrote in a way that I felt like I was there.
Can’t wait for the next book by her!

I would expect nothing less. This series kept me on my toes. Exciting, interesting, controversial plot, beautifully developed characters, and always excitingly paranormal. Excellent read.

Arleana, Grey and Paxton bond gets even closer. They defend themselves against their enemies. The bond between Arleane and Rafe gets even stronger. Sloan and Jen help Areleana, Grey, and Paxton in some difficult situations.
The main heroine has won the fight but there is still more to resolve in order to gain true freedom. I voluntarily received this book for an honest review.
I can’t tell you how long I’ve waited for this book to come out! Every novel in this series just got better and better. Good twists and turns along the way. The Sins of Mine did not disappoint!! I really wish we could of gotten more chapters of Grey but other than that it was a spectacular ending! I learned more and more of the early years of Paxton and Arlanna. I hope that he can finally tell her about the wonderful stories in the attic. I was thrilled to read that the heirs had a voice and they wanted to make it heard. They all feel like they finally have a pack! Hopefully there will be a book on nurse Jen…??!! One can hope!!

This was a really good book. I think it was better than the first one in the series. I loved the characters. They have grown and changed over time. There are a lot of challenges in this book. I enjoyed it and would recommend it.

First let me state that I received an advanced reader copy, (ARC), but this in no way influences my review. I always leave an honest review
Holy shiznet!!! What a gr8 way to end this series. I recommend this read. 5 Thumbs up.
I’m very happy with how this series ended. Nothing to sugary sweet to be real but a HEA still the same. Lots of action and drama surrounded the main characters but all worked out realistically in the end. Change doesn’t happen over night and prejudice isn’t overcome by desire alone, but hope for the future happens with every step taken the right direction. Excellent job.

Arlanna, Paxton and Gray have escaped the prison, where they were paying for their parent’s crimes, but that is not the end of their challenges. Arlanna is working herself hard, seeing she is the giving woman she is, she feels the need to make sure those who escaped with her don’t go without. Paxton wants to keep them together, but Gray seems to be pulling away, and Arlanna is overworked. Can he help them stay together? Paxton’s and Arlanna’s fathers are not done with causing problems either, Can they survive their fathers plans? Or will it cost them too much this time? I loved this series, and how things happen in this book, not everything was smooth sailing for this group.
