Profiler Sarah Armstrong knows what it’s like to be in a sticky situation. As a single mother and one of the few female Rangers in Texas history, she has had to work twice as hard to rank among the best cops in the Lone Star State. But when megawealthy businessman Edward Lucas III is found murdered along with his mistress, their bodies posed in grotesque ways, Sara quickly senses that this will … will be the deadliest case of her career. While others focus the investigation on Lucas’s estranged wife, Sarah disagrees and hunts a suspect only she believes in. Yet nothing in her career could have prepared her for the horror of a young man who believes he has been sent from heaven to massacre innocent people. When Sarah picks up on the killer’s elusive trail, following his scent all over Texas, the psychopath makes her his next target. And as Sarah closes in, the madman sets his sights on all she holds dear. Singularity features a feisty, funny, and tough heroine and a truly creepy killer, as it races along to a chilling and unexpected climax.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I liked the portrayal of the characters. Pleasantly surprised our Texas Ranger was a woman. A good read. I will recommend it.
The first chapter and a half didn’t really impress me, but all of a sudden the book took off and I was hooked.
Great start to a series. All are good reads
Great book and I’m from Texas
I hardly ever give 6 stars
As if written by an Idaho cult member. Not recommended.
Overly (and unnecessarily) descriptive in many places, almost like the author was trying to reach a word count. Still an enjoyable read, and I am looking forward to reading the next books in the series.
Super plot, well written, and obviously well researched. It was a pleasant and enjoyable story.
I liked this book because it was pretty good paced and kept guessing until the end . I usually figure the “who dun it “ out real fast but not with this one it was nice.
Writing is a little on the simple side. ie lots of short sentences. Too much emphasis on the “side story” of grandma and the kid. Plot story was OK, but at times a little unlikely as to what really would have happened in a true crime story. But I did hang in to the end so it couldn’t have been that bad. Have for sure read worse.
Good story. I liked the lead is a Texas Ranger. What a twist!
LOVED IT.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book.
Loved the writing. Exciting! As a born Texan and a female who was a former law enforcement officer, her description of many male counterparts was spot on!
A female Texas Ranger, nice twist. Even some of the suspects were well written and interesting. Who knows what comes next!
I did not realize that the main character is a series character. To the author’s credit, she worked in the background. The ending was more of a TV ending than a gripping book.
I liked the relationship between the Ranger mother and her daughter.
Pretty raw
I love suspense and this did not dissapoint! If you like mysteries I highly recommend this one.
This was a good story, finished it in one sitting. I read 200+ books a year and this is definitely going to be re-read in the future.
