Held my interest. Wanted the see how the characters faired, hoping for the best.
Oh Penelope this book is wow. This chapter on Annabella and Damien is great, hope they get their happily ever after. Poor Damien so devastated that she remarried her husband. She is trying so hard to make her marriage work even as she loves Damien. He finally admits he loves her and tells her, she tells him she’s committed to her husband. Oh man things couldn’t get any better when Hades and Damien catch Liam at the drunk with another woman. Now that Annabella has filed for a divorce again she is on her on and tell Damien she needs space. Liam finally knows who Damien is wow. I can just go on. Can’t wait to see what happens next.
The last chapter had me on the edge of my seat! I enjoyed reading more about Damien and Annabella’s relationship and how it unraveled, however the last chapter had my heart pounding fast and the adrenaline pumping. Of course, I was left with a cliff hanger and now I’m trying to patiently wait to see how things play out with Damien. Does he get Annabella back? Are they meant to be together? How does Liam deal with Damien? Too many things to think about and occupy my thoughts till the next book comes out. I am not sure if I can wait that long!
This book is definitely a one sitter. As soon as I received it today, I knew it had to read asap. This book picks right up where the last one left off and is just as drama filled, intense, page turning goodness. Can’t wait for more.
Damien and Annabelle and Liam. What a complex trio of characters. This book had yet another crazy ending that I’m beginning to love from Penelope Sky. Love how old faces were incorporated into the story. I can’t speak enough of the how perfect all these series this author writes are. Can’t wait to find out how this ends for everyone involved.
Wow! This is the sixth book in the Betrothed series. It is never a dull moment! You are sucked in from the start. This book is fantastic. It will take you on a roller coaster of emotions. You will want to laugh, cry, be angry, hot and bothered, happy, etc. At times you will want to throw your kindle at what the characters are doing. Every minute is worth it though. It is a must read just as the series is! In this book we are reading about Annabella and her ex/ now again husband Liam and her ex lover Damien. We also have Heath who heads up the Skull Kings and a cameo of Bones. It will keep you on edge and you will not want to put it down because you just have to know what is next with these three. Having said that I can not wait for the next book!!!!
Penelope Sky continues the Betrothed series bringing Damien and Annabella together in an angst ridden relationship. Not only do they have to deal with Liam and his efforts to win Annabella back, but with Damiens commitment phobia and Heath, lets not forget the Skull King. As always, there are perilous situations, hot sex and Bones (who makes a cameo appearance)! If you are a fan of this series continue on, and if it’s a new series to you catch up! You won’t regret it!!
This is the continuing story of Damien, Hades and Annabella. Again, I was completely drawn in to their story. I love the way she brings in old friends from her previous series for appearances. We are left on another cliffie, but don’t fret too much as the next installment, Forever, is coming June 2.
