FROM BESTSELLING AUTHOR OF GAY ROMANCE, MORTICIA KNIGHTBook six in the Sin City Uniform series – a newly expanded and edited version! What’s a little danger when there’s a sexy man dying to keep him safe? After deciding his love life is worse than a disaster film, Rich wonders if maybe he should stick to his book boyfriends instead. It’s not as if he has much free time to date anyway. Between … much free time to date anyway. Between working long hours at the coffee shop, guarding his sodas from his hygienically challenged roommates, and running the programming at the Vegas LGBTQ teen shelter—how could there ever be space for romance?
Diego enjoys taking his downtime from working Search and Rescue by hanging out at the Lucky Cup coffee shop. Nothing relaxes him more than perusing the Internet while pretending he’s not watching the blond barista he’s been pining over for months. He imagines that the pretty boy has more offers than he knows what to do with, so it takes Diego time to work up the nerve to approach him.
Rich isn’t so sure about the rugged, older Diego—even if he’s always thought the guy was hot. But there’s an immediate heat and connection between them that takes him by surprise. Unfortunately, now that Rich believes he might finally get a chance at an ever after, danger seems to stalk him wherever he turns.
Someone in Sin City not only doesn’t want Rich to find love—they want him dead.

There is Sin City, the crazy and the action, but beneath it all the book is a really cute love story with entertaining characters. I really liked the dynamics between the couple and the book is an awesome addition to the series!
I really enjoyed this book. Poor Rich couldn’t seem to catch a break, despite all the good he put out into the world. His life was difficult in so many ways. Thank goodness Rich accepted sexy Diego’s invitation of a date. These men together were raunchy, sexy, and hot in all the best ways! And their feelings for each other were as sweet and loving as I wanted. I was happy that the angst in the story did not show up in their relationship with each other. I loved these men, and I think this was a great addition to the series!
A very sensual story, where two men find their forever.
I loved everything about this story, but I swooned by how Diego devoured Rich.
Gosh, that was intense and hot.
Diego is passionate as he makes sex into art. He loves to play and devour Rich.
Rich is a busy guy and works many hours. With the little money he earns, he can lease an apartment with two other guys. He works at a coffee shop and running the programming at the Vegas LGBTQ teen shelter. After some awful dates, he concludes to stay with his book-boyfriends instead of real-life guys. Until the rough-looking ‘biker’ guy at the coffee shop asks him to dinner. Very quickly Rich understands Diego isn’t at all what he expected at first sight.
What he experienced with Diego omg that was beyond his imagination. He never met a guy with such strong sensuality.
Besides this, there are doses of action, angst, and even worse. Absolutely not too much, I found it quite entertaining and it fits perfectly in this story, it didn’t overshadow the beautiful and intense relationship and lovemaking. All nicely balanced!
It doesn’t matter what this author writes, it’s always entertaining. Always with a good portion of excitement, engaging and lovable characters, intensely sexual, attractive environments and a wonderful well-developed plot.
A winner!
A delicious addition to the series!
It’s not necessary to have read the other 5 books, but they are all great reads!
Rich is not happy with his home life so spends most of his time at the coffee shop or the shelter where he volunteers. Diego watches Rich in the coffee shop. Now, when I read the blurb I thought that kinda creepy, but it’s delivered in such a non-creepy way, I loved it! Rich KNOWS Diego is watching him, cos he watches Diego too.
Both guys have a say, in the third person. Both Rich and Diego know they want something more than a quick fling, they want to BUILD something. It’s great reading, the way they both sort of dance around their feelings but know what they want!
Their chemistry is hot and heavy right from that first non-date, and it was great fun watching Diego introduce some new pleasures to Rich.
The danger to Rich is front and centre throughout the whole book, and it’s really well told, the way that sort of snowballs around him.
Most of the previous characters pop up in one way or another, or are talked about, and it was particularly wonderful to catch up with Lonnie and Parker (book 2, Copping and Attitude) I think they were my favourite couple!
It is a really great book, just a little on the sweet side for me, which was why I gave it four stars and not 5. Still, I read it in one sitting on a quite afternoon at work!
4 good, solid stars

I admit that Searching for Shelter took me a bit by surprise, because Morticia Knight amped up the sweetness for this story. I’m not saying it’s a bad thing, only that it was a bit more than I’m used to finding in this author’s books.
Diego and Rich connect almost instantly, and it’s soon obvious that they’re perfect for each other. They’re definitely more than compatible in bed,and the sex scenes in the book were scorching hot. So when a murderer wants to take Rich down,it’s only natural that, for his safety, he should move to Diego’s place, right? And to keep living there indefinitely once the risk is taken out. I might think they’re moving a bit too fast, but hey,if it works for them…
Searching for Shelter is a fast, easy to read story. A combination of sweetness, the right amount of spicy passion,a touch of danger… absolutely worth reading.
