Shay says it all in her character descriptions. Each main character, Gabe, Macy and Simon must grow within themselves before they can grow together. Simple words from others ring true as decisions are made. Great series

I liked this book. Macy lost her husband in the Secret Service. Gabe is her friend but would like to be more. His job with the Secret Service gets in the way. The story was good and the conflict resolved in a realistic and satisfying way.
I liked that Simon was a real character with issues that some kids face. He was portrayed in a good way and I liked that he was treated with love yet disciplined in a good way.
CKathryn creates characters that are real, people you want in your life. You will enjoy the way you feel as you get to know this story.
Not much to it! Very predictable, and written at about a 4th grade level.
