Great couple. Good book. Couldn’t put it down.
Absolutely loved this book.
Outstanding Book and Author
I enjoyed this book – the characters, the story line!
I learned some things about the secret service in this read and how challenging it is to do this work while having a family. Very interesting and the story was really good. Great characters, realistic.
Shay does not disappoint in another fulfilling Secret Service novel. Love involves sacrifice and both Macy and Gabe allowed love to overshadow their own personal feelings. I also enjoyed the relationship Gabe had with Simon.
So I have a new experience on how our Presidents detail for protection is formed. Wonderful story and great ending.
Another winner by Kathryn Shay. The characters were complex but you loved them. This book was a page turner. Another great book.
A good read. Engaging characters. Enjoyed the insertion of a special needs child into the story.
Every book I have ever read from Kathryn What has been well worth reading.
Shay always delivers!
I would recommend it to a friend
I always enjoy Katherine Shay books and this was no exception. Nice story line, realistic and a relaxing read. A bit of sex but not overly detailed. This is part of a series but you don’t need to have read the other to enjoy this one.
I appreciate that Christianity was finally accepted By the older sister. So many people cared for her but she couldn’t feel it until Christ entered into her life. Vince the creepy boyfriend that was so abusive got what was coming to him so that made things good.
One of my favorite authors!
I loved this book, and it was hard to put down. The characters became friends and family, as I went through the story line. I will watch for this author’s books in the future.
Not as good as a previous Kathryn Shay book I had read.
I love books that aren’t predictable. A lot of books I can figure out by the third chapter. This book shows on both sides what happens when you put the ones you love first. More relationships in real life would last and be a lot happier if they would take a page out of this book!
I have always liked books written by Kathryn Shay. They are generally easy to read and have great characters you can identify with. This book was not one of her best. I also found some glaring mistakes in it which at first blush was confusing until I figured out she was using the wrong name. However, the mistakes were only in one small section and did not really effect the overall story.
Well, I guess I learned something about the Secret Service.
