Tragedy strikes in Sulfur Springs and one of their own is caught in the chaos. Will Walker return in time to save the young man he’s silently watched for so long?
Saving My Sanity is the third book in the Sulfur Springs series. This is a Men of Crooked Bend spin off, but it isn’t a requirement that you read that series to enjoy this one. Familiar faces will be seen, but this series takes you off of the ranch and into the lives of those in Sulfur Springs. While each book will focus on a different couple, you should read them in order. Each book contains sexually explicit material between two men and is intended for adults over 18.

Wow! This book was amazing! I love how it’s two firefighters brought together by tragedy. Walker and Tristan lean on and support each other which I find are admirable qualities in both of these men! It was hot and also adorable! I also love the support they get from their fellow firefighters too! This is definitely a must read book! Especially if you’ve read the first two!

I really enjoyed this book. I loved the connection between Tristan and Walker. Man Tris’s parents were pieces of works. They belonged to a fanatical church and forced Tris to give at least 50% of his pay check to the church, they had debit cards and they could write out cheques from his account. They also hated that he was gay and thought that if he married the right women he could repent for his “sins” and totally forget about being gay. I loved the friendship between Tris, Hawke and Cody. Total friendship goals. Man, Walker is such a sweetheart in offering to take Tris’s younger sisters in when Tris got custody of them without even batting an eye. It would totally mess with your head if you find out after 34 years when your folks both pass away that you were adopted and that your dad’s best friend donated his sp*rm since your dad couldn’t have children, and that happened to be your boss that never said anything for years that you’ve worked for him, just like what Walker went through. Tris and Walker are great together even with the massive age gap. I’m looking forward to reading Cody’s story next. I’d definitely recommend this book, series and author.
Saving My Sanity is the third book in the Sulphur Springs series. It should be read after the first two books.
This is a contemporary romance centered around two firefighters who are both managing some difficult family issues. I really liked this book, especially how both men have to support each other and overcome some serious family dysfunction. There were a lot of sweet moments in between all the angst and drama. The audiobook was narrated by Michael Dean who does a great job with the performance. The audiobook production was well done.
Great book great series.
This series keeps getting better and better. Written around a firestation with hunky Firefighters. What more could you want. Great stories, great characters and a lot of heat. Can’t wait for the next installment.
I don’t know what it is about Walker and Tristan but I just loved this couple. Walker was that guy that didn’t quite understand what it was about his coworker Tristan that he just couldn’t stop thinking about him. And Tristan just couldn’t figure out why Walker wouldn’t stop staring at him. Then the day that Walker finally gets up the nerves to see if there could be something there with Tristan. But, unfortunately he is turned down. Walker was already down about being told no by the man that took over his brain, that the call from his mother was one that he wasn’t needing. It was during this tragedy that Tristan was able to finally come to see that maybe he was too quick to say no. Then while on a call Tristan’s life is almost taken away before Walker is able to finally show his true feelings.
This was a story about a couple that has a lot thrown at them. One thing after another is put in front of them that you would think would end things before they even have a chance to really begin. But, Walker is a man that you are able to see is 100% in when he find that one person that he truly loves.
I loved meeting this couple. This was definitely a couple that I didn’t see coming together, but once they were I just couldn’t get enough of them. I cannot wait to see what else is in store for this series.
Wow! Following on two geat previous books, Saving My Sanity brings with it all the great qualities of previous titles, adding to it with an important topic of parental abuse and religious bias. Loved how the themes were treated without unnecessary big bangs, while still delivering an impactful message. Good job!
Taylor Rylan’s Saving My Sanity is the third book in the Sulfur Springs series. It’s a bi-awakening, coworker romance, telling the story of “straight” Walker who finally faces his attraction for fellow firefighter Tristan and embraces that newly realized Bisexualness by asking the other man out, then his whole world is turned upside down. For that matter, so does Tristan. During it all, they realize they can hold on to each other and be strong… they can thrive no matter the tumbling blocks, because they have each other.
The story does a fantastic job of bringing us into the action… making us feel the characters’ emotions. I found myself hating certain secondary characters and falling in love with our main characters and thier extended “family”. There are major drama topics these guys face but mixed into those serious scenes are the humor, the sweet and the sexy. This is definitely a satisfying story and makes me want to look into the whole series.
This is the 3rd book in the Sulfur Springs series. I would recommend that you read the book in order to have a understanding of the characters Hawke, Cody and Tristan best friends. With all the drama that is happening in Sulfur springs with fire and lost. The story is written so beautiful of 2 that need the strength and love of one another. Walker and Tristan were meant for each other and will their house full now with happiness and love. you will love this series it is a must read today!!!
