Perry has one goal: to find the best friend she lost when the world ended. Even after five years, she’s not given up hope. When a sudden change in the weather finds her more than she bargained for, she might find some answers, along with unexpected allies and a chance to finally stop running from the ruined world. If only the apocalypse wasn’t so complicated. -Rise Of Night is the second book in … Of Night is the second book in the Return Of The Fae Series, and is Perry’s complete story. It is a paranormal apocalyptic book with a low heat reverse harem romance. It was previously titled Fae Blessed. Only the title and cover have been updated.

Now that Perry has finally found her best friend and a few new ones along the way, it’s time to for them to join together and find a way to survive the apocalypse that they find themselves in. We are once again left with questions but I am sure the next book will answer them all and give us a happy ending.
The world is ending. Perry has wandered for four years alone, looking for her best friend Theo. She finds Kingsley and Jordan and their secret hideaway. But when they realize they are her mates they leave come with her to find Sanctuary (if it exists), and she hopes to find Theo also. When they find Theo, they also find Sanctuary and it is full of all different types of Fae. But Theo is also her mate and he is jealous of her necromancer and fae/shifter mates. But she has bigger problems as they all do. How are they ever going to get the world back on track. No one seems to know what caused the portal to the fae realm to close, but everyone is blaming everyone else. Several individuals have suggested how to fix it, but they need to find pureblood fae from all four groups. That might be almost impossible.
Rise of the Night by Laura Greenwood is a paranormal apocalyptic reverse harem that I listened to on audio narrated by Anaya Vitalis. The book used to be titled as Fae Blessed.
I just love Laura’s books! They always leave me begging for more! I cannot wait to dive into the third book of the series Dawn of Pain (previously known as Elf Blessed).
Anaya did a great job on the narration. I liked that she used different voices/tones for each character. It made it really easy to follow along. I look forward to listening to more of her work in the future.

Perry is on a quest in an apocalyptic world to find her lost mate, but she finds he is not the only one and a new journey begins, along with a new adventure. This series sounds like it’s going to be a thrilling on, I can’t wait to find out more.
Anaya Vitalis narrated this exciting new journey.

The characters were great in throughout the entire audiobook. They really made the story and pulled you in. There were some questions I had about the background, the world, and some decisions but overall they were pretty minor. This audiobook could definitely have more added later but it was a good RH. Mostly figuring out how to handle all 3 once she realized she was bonded. The narrator did an excellent job portraying each unique character.

Perry, a falcon shifter has been on her own for five years looking for her friend Theo. Along the way she meets a necromancer and a half shifter/half fae. This is a well written book set in an apocalyptic world full of adventure, suspense, drama, romance and twists that pulled me into the story.
This was a great short read with great characters. Laura Greenwood always has great characters, detailed enter twining plots, and wonderful world building and this story/series is no different. I really liked book one but the story arc is starting to really unfold and book two was a great addition. I look forward to reading what happens next in Elf Blessed.
The author provided a very realistic view of what would happen to civilization if the weather were to go wacky. The high winds, tornados, and other severe weather events left a lot of dead in its wake. The majority of survivors were of the paranormal community and even they had a tough time. Nothing could grow due to drought followed by too much rain, too much sun or no sun, and frequent episodes of hail. The only way to find food or clothing was by looting places that had them in the past. This made the world a dangerous place to survive in. Perry, the main character, has spent the last five years looking for her best friend from childhood “Theo”. She doesn’t know if he made it but is hoping to find him. Caught in another critical hail storm, she drops into a hole which was actually a shelter belonging to a necromancer “Jordan”, and another shifter “Kingsley”. Jordan invited her to have a warm meal with them, when Kingsley arrived, he offered a warm shower with soap and a fluffy clean towel, then offered to wash her clothes for her. Being the recipient of all of this kindness after fending for herself for the best part of five years. Perry was very appreciative and felt a little spark of attraction to both of them. Or was it just appreciation?
When finding out that Perry was trying to find the sanctuary where a large number of paranormals were said to have collected, Jordan and Kingsley asked to join her on the trip. Does she find her childhood friend “Theo”? Do they find the sanctuary? Does the spark Perry felt when meeting Jordan and Kingsley develop into anything? You will have to read this book to find out.

Perry has been on the lookout for her best friend Theo. It has been since the world has been destroyed for the last five years. The weather I erratic and can change dangerously on a dime. Then when it starts hailing she immediately seems shelter below ground. Where she jumped is apparently someone’s home and she feels necromancer magic. Perry is a peregrine falcon shifter and she feels someone behind her. That’s when she meets Jordan who is a necromancer. Then she meets his roommate Kingsley. He is a shifter too. She does find Theo when they all head out to sanctuary. There is just and kissing in this book, but no sex. Also they are all tea drinkers. Where is the coffee that everyone in America drinks?

Our heroine is searching for her best friend, lost five years ago during the apocalypse.
This is another entry into the author’s Paranormal Council world and the second book in its series. It can be read alone without much difficulty. You will miss out on a bit of the backstory, but nothing that will impair your enjoyment of this book.
And this one is enjoyable. The world is well detailed, the plot easy enough to follow but with a few twists and turns along the way to keep it interesting. The characters are the most fun and have a sense of humor to keep it from getting too dark. Overall it was a fun easy read, well worth the time for fans of the urban fantasy genre.
Highly recommended.

Perry is seeking shelter from an ice storm and goes into a hole she finds. There she meets Kingsley and Jordan. Perry is a peregrin, Kingsley is part fae and Jordan is a necromancer. They offer for her to stay with them. Perry finds herself drawn to both and can;t figure out why she”s feeling like this. The next they prepare to leave the place Jordan and Kingsley have been for 5 years. They will seek the sanctuary they;ve heard of for paranormals. The journey will be long and dangerous and made even more so with the way Perry is feeling and getting the feeling the men are reciprocating those feelings. Now what;s a girl to do?
Fantastic story and read! And a unique way to look at a totally different life in these times.

I am really liking this series. I thought Perry was great. She has great survivor skills for being alone in the new world. I had to laugh when she first started hanging out with Jordan and Kingsley. After 5 years on her own she’s a bit rusty in communication. I liked her determination to find Theo. It was so easy to like Jordan and Kingsley. They are so thoughtful and understanding, just perfect. Meeting Rhiannan and her guys again was really cool. I volunteered to read an advanced reader copy and am under no obligation to leave this review.
This post apocalyptic story is definitely an original concept for me. There wasn’t a lot of description, leaving the reader to visualize their own characters and settings. I personally like that. This is an enjoyable afternoon read.

This book is the second in this series .
You don’t have to read the one before it
but I would to get some background on the
characters in this one.
The flow of this book is real smooth and the characters
are very well developed.

Fae Blessed by Laura Greenwood is an awesome story to read. I wish I would have read the first one so I could get more background on the characters, but I still loved reading this story very much and it can be a stand alone to read. I love reading this story so much I loved the characters and the story line, I highly recommend this to everyone.

This is the second book in the series but can be read as a stand alone, But I would recommend reading the first book so you have a bit of the background. After being alone and searching for her best friend for five years, Perry encounters Kingsley and Jordan. All three of them are cautions around others but in the end they helped each other.

A well written dystopian YA fantasy, a clean romance with lots of kissing and a shifter with multiple mates. Since the event that changed the world five years ago, bird shifter Perry has been alone, wandering the abandoned and ruined land, in hopes of finding her best friend Theo. She comes across a necromancer and his shifter bff who turn out to be two of her mates. A very intriguing story and the second entry in the blessed series.

I liked Perry’s character and her struggles she went through to find her BFF, and boy did she and then some! It’s a great short read, and of course I still can’t believe the end of the world happened In the Paranormal Council series! Recommend as it’s a good story, plot and of course an HEA!

World as it had been known ended about 5 years before the story starts. It is told by Perry, a falcon shifter, who lived most of that time on her own, surviving, but not easily. The story starts with her meeting Jordan and Kingsley, two men – one a Necromancer the other half shifter, half fay, recognizing them as possible mates. Still she is looking for her best friend, Theo and so the 3 of them start out their journey.
Although the story is set in an apocalyptic setting, it is anything but a dark story. It is a story of trust, friendship and love coming together.
A nice story, not too exciting, but interesting to read, nonetheless.
