Book One of the Resurrection Trilogy and now optioned for film, from prize-winning author Michael J. Totten Welcome to a world turned to ashes. Annie Starling is missing her memory of the last eight weeks–the most devastating in history. It started in Russia and went global in a matter of days, the most virulent virus the world has ever known. It’s stripping its victims of every last thing that … of every last thing that makes them human. And that’s just the beginning. The other survivors are no less dangerous than the infected.
She meets Lane, who stops at nothing to assert power and control over everybody who’s left; Kyle, who dreams of building a new world upon the ruins of the old; Hughes, who lost the ability to feel after burying his family; and Parker, who threatens to tear himself and his companions apart.
And when her memories finally return, Annie discovers a terrifying secret that could change everything–but she can’t tell a soul what it is.
Praise for Resurrection: A Zombie Novel
“For fans of World War Z and The Walking Dead, Michael J. Totten’s Resurrection is the novel you’ve been waiting for.” – Scott William Carter, author of Ghost Detective
“In the tradition of The Walking Dead, Michael J. Totten delivers a must-read with Resurrection. Action packed with a wicked twist, this is one book I couldn’t put down.” –Annie Reed, author of The Patient Z Files
“Resurrection dragged me in from the first page, with fast-paced, suspense-filled action and multi-layered and totally believable characters. Painting a vivid and gritty picture of a post-apocalyptic Northwest, Totten puts us into the minds and emotional struggles of a group of mismatched survivors forced to band together for protection even when they’re on the verge or ripping each other apart. He also wrote one of the scariest passages I’ve read in any horror or suspense story…so be warned if you’re afraid of the dark, or water, or both.” – JC Andrijeski, author of Rook

This is a fantastic “zombie” story. There are a few little issues but they’re easily overlooked because of how great the story is.
The plot was different and interesting but the characters were annoyingly idiotic and whiny. Had to force myself to finish.
i really relly want to read that book if you want to give it tome please my adsree is 1202 benville street
We’ve all read the books or seen the movies; the zombie apocalypse is here. But Michael Totten has come up with an interesting premise with this novel, the first in the Resurrection series. What if an infected person became a zombie, then their immune system cured them? This is the case of Annie Starling, who after being bitten, was a mindless cannibal for three days before regaining her humanity.
.
This was a decent book, if not an instant masterpiece. The storyline was based on an interesting premise, but was uninspired. The characters were rather stereotypical and not very sympathetic. The action at times was thrilling, such as the assault at the grocery store, but at other times the story was plodding. The editorial staff left a bit to be desired, with spelling errors and grammatical miscues which made it difficult to follow the tale. Overall, this was a fair way to spend a few hours, but I’ve read better.
If you are into the resurrection of the apocalypse, this is a good book to get you started!
Awesome sauce
some new twists on a common (zombies) current theme in books and tv
I was hesitant at first, but a big zombie lover, I ended up enjoying this book so much I went to search for the second.
Not my usual style but I could not put it down.
Enjoyed the blend of the character personalities in this group on a quest to save what’s left of humanity.
Good enough to read if nothing else is available.
It was entertaining. I enjoyed the characters and surprises throughout the book. A very good read. I recommend it highly.
Spoiler…..Ok. Left me hanging but I don’t care enough about the characters to continue. The fact they think they will make it across the country is ridiculous.
Really liked this book, especially the characters involved. If you like zombie apocalypse books, this one is for you. Looking forward to the next book to follow Annie, Hugh, Parker and Kyle on their journey to find a cure.b
Just finished reading Resurrection, very much enjoyed. Good story line, characters very rounded out, believable. Anyone who likes “end of the world as we know it” stories will enjoy this book, want to keep reading to see where the characters end up. I will be purchasing book 2 to see where they go, what they do.
This book was totally stupid. This is one to pass on. Sorry.
I was skeptical at first but found myself getting into the story early on (a good sign!). Will be purchasing the sequel.
Great read
As zombie books go…this was fun to read. It had a little different take than most and enough action to keep it entertaining.
I love a zombie adventure. Real, diverse, flawed characters. Held my interest. Good read.
