THE #1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLERTHE SENSUAL SAGA OF EVA AND GIDEON CONTINUES in the hotly anticipated follow-up to BARED TO YOU…the New York Times bestselling novel of “EROTIC ROMANCE THAT SHOULD NOT BE MISSED.”– Romance Novel News Gideon Cross. As beautiful and flawless on the outside as he was damaged and tormented on the inside. He was a bright, scorching flame that singed me with the … bright, scorching flame that singed me with the darkest of pleasures. I couldn’t stay away. I didn’t want to. He was my addiction… my every desire… mine.
My past was as violent as his, and I was just as broken. We’d never work. It was too hard, too painful… except when it was perfect. Those moments when the driving hunger and desperate love were the most exquisite insanity.
We were bound by our need. And our passion would take us beyond our limits to the sweetest, sharpest edge of obsession…

Ok, you’ve caught my attention with the book. The story line piqued my interest at the end of the book. Now I ask where does Gideon and Eva go now. What will the next book bring me. I so thought that Cary would be right for Eva, but now I’m rooting for Gideon. This was a great book.
Best series loved every one
Absolutely love the entire series . I could not stop reading , I read the entire series in a week , definitely a page turner.
Unpredictable characters, hard to put down.
One of the best series of books. As a matter of fact, the best series I’ve ever read.
This is tied as my favorite book series of all time. How 50 got noticed and not this is beyond me. Love love love!
This nook took my breath away and the end made me cry
GREAT! it’s just like a good movie that you say oh the sequel cannot live up to the original…this can & it was even better than the first. the book never dragged and was pissed when i was done because now it leaves me hangin’ until the next one 🙂
Great Series will their was more coming
Loved the series
As in the other Stark sagas this one will not let you down. I love how both Nicki and Damien are so in love with each other. Great book.
Love anything by Sylvia Day
Loved it!
How two people work so hard to get there mind on the some track l love the book because it was up and down and it was one you could put down
Very similar to Fifty Shades of Grey series. Easy reading.
I’ve read the whole series three times! One of the best I’ve ever read and will probably read it again if I ever run out of books to read
Wow what a intense read I can’t enough of Gideon, this book consumes you from beginning to end. In this book we get a better understanding of Gideon and Eva relationship how much they really care about one another however messy it may seem they truly do love one another. I can’t wait to see what going to happen next in this world wind love story.
So, now, I’m done with book two. Thank goodness Sylvia Day learned from E.L. James’ mistake with “50 Shades” and gave us some real outside-relationship conflict to chew on in between love scenes, earlier in the series rather than later. A lot of that conflict ended at the end of the novel, so where the series goes from here, I can’t see it. I’m sure we haven’t run out of plot yet!
I maintain what I said in the first book’s review about being on the light side of BDSM here, although one scene did begin to show a little darker view than other scenes. All of the love scenes are erotic, but here we don’t see everything in every one. We have real and juicy plot to deal with instead. Thanks, Ms. Day!
I’m wondering about Lionsgate moving forward with the TV option for the Crossfire series. If they do, Jason Momoa (Stargate Atlantis) should play Gideon Cross.

This 2nd Book in the Crossfire Series was better than the first one but I can’t give more stars because it wasn’t the best I’ve read. I am glad I read it though, because after the first one I just wasn’t sure if I could stand another boring book. But there was more story this time than just Gideon and Eva having sex. Even when there were some pages I would have loved to skip, I still kinda enjoyed reading it.
I don’t understand the behavior from Gideon though. He seems weird sometimes. I mean, yeah I read what he did and everything. But it feels so weird. Gideon is a strange guy and he wants to protect a woman he barely knows. But this is way to extreme in my opinion.
One of the best second books I’ve ever read in a series. This story keeps getting better and I am looking forward to the next book. I definitely recommend it.
