Intense, exciting and scary right from the first page to the end. Kept me on the edge of my seat, ducking out of the way and almost swinging my fists to stay alive. Phew I was exhausted at the end so good job this was short, action packed all the way.
These ladies are doing this serialization perfectly. I am spending more buying this by the episode. And I have no regrets.
This is the 1st book I’ve read written by Eli Constant; she has done a great job at writing a good book; I can’t wait to read more of her books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.
I loved the chemistry between the characters.

Red Eye: Season One, Episode One written by authors Claire C. Riley and Eli Constant is the beginning of a thrilling “end of the world” zombie apocalypse series. In this book, instead of snakes on a plane…we get a scenario WORSE than that…we get ZOMBIES on a plane. Imagine…being thousands of feet in the air, a passenger mysteriously dies, and then within minutes…comes back to life and begins a rampage of horror, death, and destruction…and there is no way out. Are you ready?
I am an avid fan and reader of horror novels and I’m also a huge fan of Eli Constant so when I heard about this book I was eager to get my claws on it. These two authors do not disappoint in their collaboration with this book. You get to feel the fear the characters are experiencing as you picture yourself in this life or death situation. The authors set the stage with a plane coming into land, but already chaos has broken out on the ground. No one knows what is happening, but one thing is for sure…death is coming…and it’s hungry.
Instead of the usual one person perspective, we get two – Rose and Sam. Both women are on this particular plane for different reasons, but they will soon find themselves united in their fight for survival. There is a ton of gore in this book, but don’t worry…it’s not overdone. Ha-ha! Right now there is no point of origin for the spread, but I don’t mind that piece of the story not being there. Right now, the focus is on the plane, the passengers on board, and how strong their will to survive is.
This book is an edge of your seat thrilling, and I couldn’t get enough. I was disappointed when this episode came to an end, but the authors have whetted my appetite for more and I’m eager to learn what happens next. If you like horror stories full of flesh-eating zombies then this is a series to pick up with its strong beginning. Buckle up because the last place you want to be…is on a plane in the air with zombies and no way out…
I am rating this book 5 out of 5 stars. Bring on the next episode because I’m ready!
