This is the 2nd audiobook in the A Series of Angels books & Mr. Crofoot sure can write!!
This is even better than the the 1st. The 1st one was great but I just adore the character Ramatel.
This is most definitely a must listen to!!!
I enjoyed this angel paranormal romance and loved reading about the struggles of Clara and Ramatel. The story flowed nicely and the characters were very well written and believable. There is plenty of action and some sexy erotica. I didn’t read the first book in this series but I certainly plan to…along with the rest of the series. This is a fun read and highly recommended!

I absolutely loved these characters. Its wonderful, action, humor, emotions, everything you want. I cried and laughed and was so thrilled with the ending. Narration absolutely perfect, great voice really pulls you into the story. I recommend this book and encourage readers to start this series with the first book (Michael’s Passion) because although it is not necessary to read it first I have to say readers will be missing out on a wonderful story if they do not start there. Great work!
A beautiful romantic tale of a fallen angel and a soul looking for redemption. Through the story of Ramatel and Clara the author describes the torment we put ourselves through, thinking we don’t deserve to be happy based on the past while being guided by fear. It gives meaning to the saying “we are our own worst tormentors”. The scars seen on the outside tell a story but mostly the inner scars that no one sees are the ones that control our actions. The fight between good and evil continues with the lesson of love conquers all. With determination and perseverance any obstacle can be removed. Must we lose something to know how much it means to us? Very realistic personality traits to characters and descriptive settings make this book a page turner! Highly recommend for all lovers of the genre!
After coming to the end of her human life, Clara is whisked away to the realm of angels as a second chance at redemption. The only problem? She’s assigned to Ramatel, an angel who is snarky, rude, and has just recently been saved from Hell. As the story progresses, feelings begin to develop between the two but Ramatel is afraid to break his vow, afraid to get close to another being for fear of being hurt. As the tensions escalate and the two are put into a dangerous battle, the pair realizes what the other truly means to them once everything is put on the line.
Very fast-paced and enjoyable quick read for anyone who likes paranormal romance.
Ramatel is angry when Claire appears in his room and he tells her exactly what he thinks. However when she’s targeted by a Demon his feelings for her start to show although he’s still holding himself back. I really enjoyed this story and I liked this narrator better than book 1 hopefully Joel will stick with him for the rest of the series .
Harboring a vendetta against God… okay that’ll get a huge conflict going. LOL!
Another great book from Crofoot! If you like romance and angels with attitude and baggage, this one is so definitely for you! Then add the bonus of a very cool female main character who is not afraid of sticking to her principles though she is both vulnerable and considered weak. Clara is able to see past the scars of Ramatel’s damaged body and soul, but her quest to help does not go easy and the journey is full of twists and turns. Overall, the thing that really resonates in this book (and the one before) is that the characters feel real – and that’s despite us talking of famous angels here. There’s the hope that everyone can heal and learn to live with their past, which is a very positive aspect of the story. I am looking forward to the next book in the series!
I was lucky enough to pick up this book when it was free. Having read the first one, I would willingly have paid full price for it. After reading the synopsis, I wasn’t expecting this book to follow on from the first one quite as closely as it does. The author has done a great job with continuing with existing characters as well as introducing new ones. I was a little disappointed that Michael was not more involved, but the new characters are just as good, so I can’t complain.
This book is fast paced, but doesn’t feel rushed at all. It had my heart racing at some points and I was crying at others. The story is good and I couldn’t put this book down. I can’t wait to read the next one!
