Read Pulled by the Tail for a happily ever after that includes a flock of cat-peacocks, plenty of steam, babies, and more!more
Pulled by the Tail is book two in the Tail and Claw series and part of the Celestial Mates by Nancey Cummings.
This was not my favorite. I loved book one in this series, but unfortunately this one did have that same spark for me. I still enjoyed and look forward to more in this series.
Georgia. Oh my, this girl has so many bad things happening to her that I can understand her feelings. She goes threw an area of emotions on Earth and in Space. To start she finds her boyfriend in bed with another women just after she finds out that she’s been cleared of cancer. Devastated by this she applies to the Intergalactic Dating Agency.
Quil her match in the Intergalactic Dating Agency is a piece of work. He’s a con-artist, gambler, and loves woman. Let’s just say their meeting doesn’t go as planned and Quil pons her off to his brother Talen with a loop whole in the signed marriage agreement.
Talen is the younger brother, but he acts more like the older. He’s responsible, kind, and caring. All his emotions are conveyed threw his tail and I loved how that was done.
Talen and Georgia’s romance is a slow bloom. She can’t leave until an annulment is done and that can take months, so that gives her time to spend with Talen. Their time together was nice.
Besides the romance and drama there are forces hoping to see everything go wrong.
Overall, Pulled by the Tail was a nice read.

Loved it. Hot aliens, bait and switch, along with evil intent.
A very different story amongst this genre. Good, patient hero. Fun people in the house.
Thoroughly enjoyable.
It was a good story and I liked the characters except for the selfish brother and his greedy wife.
Sweet and predictive human bride, alien groom romance. Easy read, enjoyable characters.
I liked a lot this book. I really enjoyed “Have Tail Will Travel” and this one was great too.
Beautiful alien romance. I love Georgia, poor girl hasn’t been lucky in life but things are going to change when she decides to start a new adventure sending an application to Celestial Mates.
Funny, steamy, romantic story with appealing characters that show you how life can change for the better when we don’t give up and keep trying.
great read
A fun read. She’s a hoot. Throughly enjoyed this story.
easy reading, nasty villain
This wasn’t my favorite Nancey Cummings alien romance. It isn’t bad, but for the most part it’s just ordinary. The reluctancant heroine, the reluctant hero, the attraction in spite of the reluctance – I think it’s been done before. The real trip here is the hero’s Bad Brother. This dude was just off-the-hook – a self-serving con artist who plays his brother, his mail order bride, and even his ex. The highlight of the book was when he finally got what he deserved. Everybody else got the requisite HEA.
I really enjoyed this romance. Talen and Georgia are likable characters. The writing is great and the story held my interest all the way through. I also liked that Georgia, who has been let down by love so many times in her life, is still strong and sassy and always ready to speak her mind. As for Talen, what’s not to love? This big, sexy alien needs a bit of happiness in his life too and Georgia is the perfect woman to give it to him. Pulled By The Tail is an all around entertaining read.
I am voluntarily reviewing an advance reader copy of this book.
Loved it.
This is another great read. It had wonderful characters and an intriguing storyline. I can’t wait to read the next book.
What’s a girl to do when the contract’s fine print is turned against her?!

I liked the plot and action in this story, right up to the thrilling, danger-filled climax and the happy (though painful!) ending and cute holiday epilogue. Human Georgia and her alien Talen had a good supporting cast of characters and I loved Georgia’s snarky correspondence throughout. She’s a strong woman (though aggressive in her need for coffee!) who wants to stand up for herself and make the best of things even when they seem to conspire against her. Talen is strong, responsible, handsome, protective, hard-working, maybe a bit too perfect? Self-centered Quil and Fiona?! Well, they deserve each other because I certainly did not see them contributing to anybody else’s health or happiness
I felt some of the love scenes seemed a bit choppy, but I am not a big lover of prolonged, detailed steam, so it did not affect my enjoyment of the book.
I read a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest review.
Georgia has been with her boyfriend for many years and they work at the same company. For months she has been feeling sick and after extensive test finds out that her fear that she has cancer is wrong. Just something minor that she is prescribed medicine for. In her happiness that it isn’t anything serious, she rushes home to tell her boyfriend but finds him in their bed with another women. She leaves him, and to shake up her life she signs up for an intergalactic dating agency. After 6 months of travelling to meet her mate, Quil, on a distant planet, she finds out he has already married someone else. He says she can marry his younger brother, Talen. Georgia is upset, heartbroken, and angry, She has been rejected by two men in several months. But she has to stay until her marriage to Quil is annulled. As she gets to know Talen, she just might find that he is a much better choice than Quil. I loved how Talen used his tail to convey feelings and emotions, and stroked her and hugged her with it to show affection.
Talen and Georgia make a great pair. The bed and breakfast is the best backdrop for this adventure that has great twist and turns. I couldn’t put the book down it was so entertaining.
I absolutely loved everything about this book. I especially loved the male characters names. Add it some action, laugh out loud moments, and some steamy romance to keep you hook from beginning to end and you have a helluva of read. Overall a enjoyable and entertaining read. I voluntarily read and review this ARC no monetary compensation was received the opinions I have expressed are my own.
