My favorite book of all time. I read this every year. Jane Austen was a gifted author who created wonderful, three-dimensional characters that you will fall in love with.

It’s the original romantic character story. All have followed the model — boy meets girl rejection. Boy meets girl again and she rejects him. Boy finds error of his ways. Girl and girl fall in love and he’s very rich. Very very rich

I absolutely loved it. I would recommend it to anyone, even though young people won’t be able to read it an enjoy it, ’cause it’s a good book to read and when you finish it you feel as if you’ve lost a good friend.

I loved this book. I must confess due to the language of the time it was written it can be difficult to read at parts. However the characters are ever so endearing. For the first portion of the book though I really didn’t understand everyone’s obsession with Mr. Darcy. Admittedly he’s kind of a her to start out with and I didn’t really like him until the book was almost over.
All things considered the book is certainly worth a read and I can see myself reading it again in the future.

It’s a great book, but not the easiest read, as it is an older book it just has that style to it that makes it hard to follow along. The story line and idea is great. I’d like it a lot more if it was a modernized telling.

This book is, of course, one of the best books ever!! The language is lyrical and the characters are superb. Still love Mr. Darcy after all these years and Mrs. Bennett is wonderfully irritating! I don’t know how many times I’ve read this book but writing this review makes me want to read it again!
