The first three Pineapple Port Mysteries – Murder, romance & laughs strike a Florida retirement community full of characters you’ll never forget! The twist: The resident ace detective is only twenty-six. Book One: Pineapple LiesGrowing up in one of Florida’s fifty-five plus communities, Charlotte never expected life to be wild. Golf cart racing with her surrogate mothers Mariska and Darla was … Mariska and Darla was about as nutty as life got…until she found the hot pawnbroker’s mom buried in her backyard.
Talk about making a lousy first impression.
Armed with nothing but her wits, Pineapple Port’s questionable cast of characters and a growingcrush, Charlotte is determined to solve the mystery of Declan’s mother’s murder.
Hey, at least this guy’s skeletons aren’t in his closet.
Book Two: Pineapple Mystery Box
When a giant inflatable Halloween witch goes missing in the Pineapple Port retirement community, Charlotte’s eager to nab the culprit. Before she can lift a fingerprint, someone threatens to kill a new neighbor who looks like an adorable Pomeranian but possesses a disturbing talent for revenge. Moments later, a stranger demands the return of a mysterious wooden box… or else.
Charlotte’s boyfriend, Declan, isn’t having a great morning either. His calculating ex-girlfriend has returned to claim she’s the rightful owner of his pawn shop. She’s livid he’s found a new lady, too.
Eh. Things could be worse. At least Charlotte doesn’t know that a mojito-swilling killer who fed his grandmother to a cat is on his way to Pineapple Port…
Book Three: Pineapple Puzzles
The infamous Puzzle Killer returns to Charity, Florida, in search of a rival murderer, and when two serial killers battle, Charlotte, Declan, Seamus and a naked cat find themselves on the chopping block!

Just not my kind of book
combining senniors with young things, this is fun series of a young woman living in a senior complex in Florida. Fun!
This was a fun series to read
i like mysteries…. and i like series…..and sometimes i just need light reading that is a mystery series. :>) this was very light reading and kept my attn.
i would say that first one sets up the situation, while the 2nd is like reading about an old friend. have not read the 3rd part yet.
I’m very glad I picked this series up. I don’t remember why I’d hesitated to do so before. It’s refreshing to find a romantic heroine who’s not insecure and jumps to all kinds of stupid conflict-causing assumptions. This gal can read people and, it seems, trusts her instincts. The residents are lovable (though it may be a stretch on the whole premise), and there are several LOL moments. It’s certainly unique in the setting! Great fun. I will pursue reading the rest of the series!
terrible
each book had a totally different plot with the same main characters trying to solve things – some are yet to be solved…..
one can watch relationships grow and develop
All 3 stories were humorous, with a great bunch of funny characters. Loved each and every book in the set. Quick reads, perfect for the busy reader.
I have read all of this series.am currently reading most recent one. love them. not like all of the B&b or bakery series.Original and cute characters and themes
Charlotte is only 26; but she has already lived in the retirement community of Pineapple Port for fifteen years and is adept at maneuvering her golf cart around the area. Unofficially adopted by most of the residents, Charlotte is beginning if she needs to meet and talk to folks closer to her own age. And of course she then meets Declan, the owner of a thrift store who does most of his shopping at estate sales. While predictable in plot, the characters are charming and likable. The stoties hold a few surprises and are well written. I recommend the series.
I have like all her books so far. I think they are funny and enjoyable to read. There is suspense but not too bad.
I thoroughly enjoyed this set of books. Maybe because I am a senior….this is based on a retirement community and I found parts of it hysterical. The characters are so true and reflective of some of our “gray haired” friends. The best part of it is the unique take on a young woman who was raised in the community and thinks of a lot of its inhabitants as part of her extended family. Having been raised in this community she thinks of it as any other neighborhood when it fact it has a cast of unusually unique people. This just adds to the humor. The story lines are well thought out and very unique. I may wish it was just a little less ‘cozy” and a tad more mysterious, “but it was still a great read with a whole lot of mischief, and I will probably pick up more by this author, even if just to find out where the next book takes me!
All these books are wonderful!! I will buy more of the series!
Enjoyed light read.
These are great “take you mind off things” entertaining books.
Liked it more than I thought I would when I first started reading it. Fun!
I liked the first one best. In the later books, the situations became ever more unrealistic. But all of them fun.
Predictable, but really cute. Light, easy bedtime reading.
I read2 of a set. Excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed, them. I like the characters. Very entertaining.
These books were entertaining and easy to read.
