Started with #4 in the series which was free, then this one – also on a free promotion. It helps to start at the beginning to understand the sides confronting each other for societal values and freedom later on. Interesting main characters (although a bit angsty-young adult for my taste), while it is the plot details that drive the book and hold …
Open Minds I took this book not expecting much but it had me hooked from the page 1 till the end. Beautifully described, action pack with characters you actually care about. It made me think about what if?
I recommend reading it while I purchase the rest of the series. 🙂
Great twist
Open Minds (Mindjack #1) was a great read by Susan Kaye Quinn. Kira Moore is sixteen years old and considered a zero. A zero is someone who can’t read thoughts or be read by others. They are outcasts who cant be trusted. She accidentally controls Raf’s mind and nearly kills him. She tries to hide this new ability from her family. I enjoyed reading …
Creative story; smartly done. Can’t wait to read the next book!
Couldn’t get through it. Thought it was poorly written and didn’t keep my attention. I deleted it from my library.
This was a good book. Kept me interested and a creative story.
Once I got over the hurdle of the new lingo, I was hooked! Great characters and exciting story line!
Unexpected response to a basic new to me type of characters and book plot. It was refreshing. Definitely different in a good way. I keep an open mind in most areas of life as u never know what u can learn or debate with someone. You can miss out on wonderful relationships and things you never thought you would do. do not get me wrong, I will …
I loved this book even though paranormal is not “normally” my cup of tea. Unique premise, well-done, Sue!
I found this book easy to read but I just wasn’t as drawn to the main character.
Open Minds boils with action, adventure, and surprises. I was fully invested in this inventive world and the protagonist. A story that had me imagining what if, long after I finished it.
amazing
Good for teens. Plot got old.
Enjoyed reading, no long boring parts
Thought it was weird at first, but it got so good and I really got into it
A fun read with plenty of action. Leaves you wanting to read more.
I liked it at first, a bit of bullying, but then the mind jacking begins-and her “teacher” doesn’t seem like a nice person. I had trouble after that
Couldn’t finish
Interesting read. Good world building but I don’t see a point to reading the next book.
