Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg never asked for fame—she has only tried to make the world a little better and a little freer.
But nearly a half-century into her career, something funny happened to the octogenarian: she won the internet. Across America, people who weren’t even born when Ginsburg first made her name as a feminist pioneer are tattooing themselves with her face, setting her famously searing dissents to music, and making viral videos in tribute.
Notorious RBG, inspired by the Tumblr that amused the Justice herself and brought to you by its founder and an award-winning feminist journalist, is more than just a love letter. It draws on intimate access to Ginsburg’s family members, close friends, colleagues, and clerks, as well an interview with the Justice herself. An original hybrid of reported narrative, annotated dissents, rare archival photos and documents, and illustrations, the book tells a never-before-told story of an unusual and transformative woman who transcends generational divides. As the country struggles with the unfinished business of gender equality and civil rights, Ginsburg stands as a testament to how far we can come with a little chutzpah.

I wish I knew Ruth Bader Ginsburg. What a forward thinking intelligent judge.
Fantastic read. What a gal!
Interesting and informative. I did not care for the way it time hopped. Would have preferred a chronological account. Very short book and easy to read.
This was a well written book on the life of Ruth Bader Ginsberg. I really enjoyed the story of her life and her man accomplishments. I would recommend it.
Insightful and informative look @ how to keep your mind and body sharp.RBG is an awesome role model for women in so many ways. A must read.
I already was in awe of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, but this book filled in lots of information I didn’t know about her and shared her humanity and humanness.
Insight into what her life was like and how the court system works.. She is an inspiration to women. A shining example of what can be achieved.
She is a good example of how to live ones life..
The Supreme Court is populated with interesting people, but none as interesting as Justice Ginsberg. Her history coming up through the ranks and dealing with the same issues herself that she deals with on the court makes it so much more personal. Also, the love story with her husband that you don’t get to hear about otherwise is great background. She is very witty along with her vast intelligence. A great read.
The life and times of RGB is long and compelling. This book gives a quick insight on this remarkable lady. It gives readers a snippet of her life and the roadblocks she had to endure to get where she is today. It is funny, quirky and a fast read, and most of all it gives RBG fans a chance to revel this unlikely hero.
Truly enjoyed this; cleverly arranged and very informative. RBG is an inspiration to women everywhere!
Loved it. RBG is inspirational still.
A good way to understand this magnificent woman.
Mostly knew all of this stuff
After reading Notorious RBG I sent copies to both of my daughters. Great read about an amazing woman of our time!
I am about half way through and really enjoying it. How short a time women have had rights.
Loved this book.
Easy to read, brief and to the point
Bio of Ruth Bader Gingberg
Well written book about Ruth Bader Ginsberg and her experiences both in her early years and on the Court. Fascinating and inspiring!
I knew Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg is brilliant. I just didn’t know how wry her sense of humor. Her logic is astounding and it is a shame her conservative colleagues don’t see the the consequences of their skewed decisions.
