Book One of The IMPERFECTION Series
more
This feels like a very compelling series. This is the first book in The Imperfection Series. I found the beginning a touch slow but then I realize the author is setting up many parts of the series. The story centers around Declan and Aria. Declan is top paid model, all alpha – perhaps a little pig headed and always expecting or demanding to getting his way. Aria is an independent, smart business owner who doesn’t know she’s beautiful. They meet when they come to the beach/shore for different reasons. Their relationship is sweet but you can help but sit and wait precariously- waiting do4 the other shoe to fall.

Wow, this is one rollercoaster, the characters are wonderful the story is full of emotions, love, suspense, hate, tears, laugh it has everything it is a sure page turner. My heart is in my throat when ending this book and tears are rolling.
I an’t wIt to start the next book I recommend this book
This is the first book in the Imperfection series. I thought this book was a great introduction to a new series. This book is the story of Declan and Aria. I love the characters that appear to have it all but yet they are not perfect and are looking for happiness. We get this feeling with these two characters in this story. Declan is tired of the fast paced successful lifestyle but still finds himself wanting to slow things down. Aria is a strong woman who has been successful as well and she has her father that is her rock in her life. Unfortunately, Aria’s father passes away and Aria is left in pieces. This is a well written story that moves through the lives of these two characters and brings them together to find happiness. This is a cliffhanger book but good news is that book two is available right away to keep going. I cannot wait to see where the series goes.

This story took my breath away. Aria is such a phenomenal character, with strength and determination, and Declan is such a big-hearted hunk. And then you get Marisol – how can one person be so evil? This book has the perfect recipe, romance, suspense, villain, but it’s not one to start when you’re restless. It takes some concentration and focus, not because the writing is bad but because that’s the only way to get the benefit of the whole thing. And oh, the ending. The second in the series is an essential read after this.

This starts as a sweet budding romance and you think “good, all will be well with this couple”, well don’t get to complacent.
Aria is trying to come to terms with loss, deep in her grief the beach is both a blessing and a curse. Declan is at a crossroads in his life and his career, he feels the modelling side is becoming a bit old and staid. The beach is his peace, giving him some time to think about what he wants to do and where. A meeting and a spark starts something good.
As the story weaves its way along a lot more happens, building up the suspense and the threats. Torment and more grief and angst keep you from getting to comfortable or for the story to get boring. It doesn’t end here carrying on into the next book, I definitely enjoyed reading this and I am glad I waited to read it until the next book is almost out, I hate waiting to long to continue a story. An enthralling and emotional read.
Oh D.D. how you played with my emotions with Positive Negativity! I love Aria and Declan, Aria especially. As for Marisol…..don’t get me started!!! Can slapping your Kindle become a thing??!!
D.D. you added those twists that I didn’t see coming and I’m pretty sure you have more up your sleeve with Selective Memory. You are a wonderful writer and how you left me hanging there on the edge at the end was brilliant.
Round two is going to have to wait because it is either my Kindle or Marisol right now and only one of them needs to survive. Well done!
This author is new to me and OMG this is a good one! I’m not good at telling you what happened in the book…plenty of others have written about that. I’ll just tell you I loved it and it ends in a HUGE CLIFFHANGER!!! So be sure prepared! I’m so ready for the next book and I hate one of the characters…
WOW…what an incredible story! Declan and Aria’s story had me from the beginning! I love the how detailed the author gets and how it’s written the point of view of all the main characters! Looking forward to reading part 2!!! A must read!!!
