What an amazing story! It’s both heartbreaking and heartwarming. The story is wonderfully written and the characters are so easy to fall in love with. Plenty of emotions that pull on the reader’s heartstrings but make the story all that much more special. No spoilers here, just I highly recommend.

Wow, what a great yet heartbreaking story. Meet Max, he has it all until a car accident turns his life upside down. He loses his girlfriend, the love of his life at that time. The story takes the reader through Max’s grieving and survivor’s guilt. During one of his many one stands, he ends up a father. Can Max recognize his second chance at life and maybe love? I loved the story and the characters along with the roller coaster of feelings that the story brings to the surface. Enjoy!

Emotional journey after an unexpected chance encounter………….but will he take the journey or not?
No More Heartache is an engaging and emotion story about one man having to deal with a traumatic car accident which took the life of his girl friend. Since the accident he has been mired in the depth of his soul and trying to numb himself with booze and one night stands. But what happens when one of those women comes knocking at his door with a little dividend? Will he be able to finally face his emotions and have a future or will he continue to run and numb himself while staying stuck?
Tarrah Anders has written a complicated character in Max and a truly emotional story for him. Not only does she deal with a man on a self-destructive path which can only lead to his own death but she also shines a light on a possible new path for him to take. One that will lead to a future that he did not think he deserved but that could bring him untold happiness. Sometimes what starts by chance can lead to the ultimate prize…………….love, acceptance and family!!! This is a really well written story and was a true pleasure to read. I recommend No More Heartache to other readers who already know this author or who would like to get to know her writing.
I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
An amazing fast pace second chance read of loss, grief, and moving on! The story is well written, well developed, emotional, and heart wrenching. The characters are likeable and perfect for each other to heal. This story will pull your heart strings and will captivate and hold your interest until the end. Definitely recommended!

This is the 3rd book that I have read from Tarrah Anders and I really enjoyed it. Very good storyline and good characters. Second chance romance for Max after losing his girlfriend in an accident. He is suffering with survivor’s guilt and he has to hit rock bottom before he is able to find himself. Tatum is the person to help him and it was an emotional and wonderful ride watching them move into a relationship. I can’t wait to read more from this author.

No More Heartache took me a little to get into but once I hit Chapter 14, I was hooked and captivated by this beautiful love story. Tatum and Max’s story was one of second chances, healing and learning to love with all your heart. Max was a man broken and destroyed and drowning in women and booze to try to forget the hurt and pain. When he reaches an all time low his friends and family finally get him to seek the help he needs. However fate decides to play a hand in the healing and this might just be what he needs to finally feel his heart beat again. This is a truly bewitching love story that will have your pulse racing, your eyes misting and leave you with a huge smile on your face along with a heart so full of love.
This is not your typical romance read – but definitely worth it! Max is a man with a lot to work through but he is not doing it in the healthiest of ways. His friends and family are helping in the only way they know how – making him go to rehab.
And then there’s Tatum. Her pineapple obsessed self brings in a curveball that seems to set things on the right path. The feelings that develop between her and Max turn his life around and are beautiful to watch develop! An excellent read from Tarrah that is beautiful in the way it’s different!
This is the second book I have read in this series and it did not disappoint. The way Max has to hit rock bottom before he can learn to live again. This was an emotional story but very good. I am looking forward to reading more in this series.

What a page turner. I couldn’t put it down, Cried happy tears as well as sad tears, This has got to be the best book I think by far from Tarrah. None of her books disappoint but this was really good. Max had gone through a horrific loss in his life and took a down hill spiral. When he hit rock bottom he was at a hotel & met a random, stranger to have “fun” with. Tatum was that stranger. Tatum worked with Max’s brother, Davis. Tatum ends up with a present she wants to share with Max since its for him. Tatum was the one bright light in Max’s life. She turned is life upside down for the best. Max never thought his whole world could have gone from Bad to GREAT in a matter of 2 + years. Tatum was his new life.

Survivor’s guilt
I can only imagine how anyone feels or copes with survivor’s guilt. Even if you in no way contributed to the death of another, it must be awful! My heart was breaking for Max… BUT I don’t know that he’s really doing anything to help himself. But does he want to help himself? Or get over this guilt?
He sleeps around, to avoid any real feelings, and one of those encounters comes to bite him in the backside… Tatum has a bit of a surprise for Max. One he certainly was NOT expecting. How will this pan out for him? For them? You’ll have to read on…
An enjoyable read, one that I’d recommend to some.

This is not a love story for the faint of heart. The hero does not instantly fall in love with our heroine and immediately change his ways. He needs a little more time to get his head and heart straight but once he does man is he perfect. Max is stuck in a collision course of booze and sex with many women when this book starts and he struggles with overcoming his demons. Tatum is amazing and when circumstances force them back into each others lives she brings Max back to life. Their relationship does not start in the most traditional way but that in no way deters from their story. This book has a lot and it is truly amazing to read as Max heals and falls in love with Tatum and vice versa. Fabulous read I did not want it to end!

This us the second in this series by Tarrah Anders and it is just as wonderful as More Than Friends! This book contains characters from the previous book, but focuses on Max. It is an emotionally charged book that gets you from the very beginning and keeps you captivated throughout.
Max has had a bad year. He has been struggling with just coping with life following a car accident which he survived, but his girlfriend did not. He didn’t believe he deserve to survive, especially not when she was dead! It sent him into an alcohol and womanizing spiral. Rehab, fatherhood, and Tatum lead to healing and a renewed belief love and life.
I totally loved this book. The pain and loss Max experienced was palpable, as was his journey back to experiencing life, including new love and renewed happiness.

I was hoping for Max to get a second shot at happiness, and Tarrah didn’t disappoint! Max has had it very rough, to put it mildly, and has not only hit rock bottom, but he’s swirling around the drain. His chance meeting with Tatum leads to a turning point in his life. And it’s a turning point he desperately needed. While Tatum and Max have an unconventional start to their relationship, it proves to be exactly what they both needed. Between Max’s determination to succeed as the new him and Tatum’s unwavering support and love, their story felt very realistic and made me tear up when Tatum met Mike, because it proved just how far they’ve both come individually and together.
For anyone who has ever dealt with a loved one on the same destructive path as Max, this book will hit you hard. It doesn’t mean that you should skip it, AT ALL. In fact, I feel like Tarrah did an excellent job of portraying Max’s downfall and recovery and that it very closely mirrored those of some of my loved ones. And no matter how angry I was at Max and his actions in the beginning, it was impossible to miss the depths of his suffering. Get the tissues ready, because you’ll need them for both the sad and the good in this book!
This was a book that inspired complex feelings in me. While it is at its heart a beautiful and inspiring romance that I truly believe is worth reading, it is also not an easy or comfortable read depending on your own history or personal experiences. This book has a complex story and features complicated characters that will inspire strong feelings in the reader. Be prepared to experience a roller coaster of emotions as you read this book that offers up plenty of emotions, poignancy and drama.
This book gives you all of the emotions of a fantastic read! It completely wrecked me but then put me back together again. Max is a wonderful guy who is not dealing with his guilt and loss in a healthy way. The drinking and women are how he “forgets” but it’s not really working. His baby mama was a surprise to me, Ms. Anders threw me off the track a couple times with this one. Turns out she is absolutely perfect for Max and, even though their relationship is not without some bumps, it is beautifully written. I absolutely loved this story and I could not put it down.
