USA Today Bestselling Author, Elena Aitken invites you to celebrate happily ever after in her brand new, sexy-sweet series that will make you say, “I do!” Billionaire Damon Banks has everything he could ever want. Almost. When his childhood home goes up for sale, there’s nothing he wants more. The catch? The seller—his father—insists it be sold to a married couple. No problem. Katie Langdon has … couple.
No problem. Katie Langdon has been Damon’s best friend since kindergarten and there’s nothing she wouldn’t do for him. Including being his fake fiancé. They already know each other better than anyone else. How hard could it be?
But as their wedding date quickly approaches, pretending turns out to be much harder than either of them expected, especially since feelings neither of them ever thought they’d feel become very real. As the lines between real and fake become blurred, Damon and Katie must find a way to see clearly, or risk losing true love for good.

Needing happily ever after is the second book in Elena’s awesome fairytale series . I loved the first book so much , but I was not prepared for how much this book exceeded all My expectations.. this is a friends to lovers romance my very favorite. Each book captures you from the very start and holds on tight until the very end . I literally had to stay up until 1am to finish , I could not stop thinking about and wondering about what would happen next .one of my very favorite things about this book is how Katie and Damon’s relationship started out as friends and developed over time . But unbeknownst to either of them they have always harbored feelings for one another .This has the perfect blend of everything a great romance should. Passion , adventure, steam , heartwarming moments as well as a spectacular story – world building. This has clearly become one of my very favorite series
A great story! I enjoyed reading this story tremendously.
We are back in Glacier Falls and this time it’s Katie Langdon’s and Damon Banks’s story.
These two have been best friends since kindergarten. Damon left town for college, becoming a billionaire after selling the technology he created, but when his father emails him letting him know he is selling Elkview Ridge, him childhood home, Damon is devastated . This is a place Damon loves . When his father tells him the only way that Damon can buy it is if he’s engaged/married, Damon asks Katie to be his fake fiancee. They will do anything for each other, and she doesn’t hesitate to help.
But feelings start confusing them, and the line between make-believe and reality is getting less defined.
Then when jealousy explodes, their relationship might be ruined forever.
Will they be able to overcome the obstacles created by their lies and feelings or will this be the end of their friendship?
A good addition to this touching series. Looking forward to what else the author has in store for us.
I was entrusted a copy of this book by Booksprout. The opinions expressed are solely my own.
In Needing Happily Ever After, we get the story of Katie and Damon. They have been best friends for years and they always have each other’s backs. When Damon needs to be engaged, to get what he wants, the first person he calls is Katie. Of course, she goes along with his plans. What is going to happen during this beautifully written story? No spoilers so grab your copy and see why Damon needed a fiancée to begin with. I loved the angst that Elena Aitken threw in. I also loved catching up with the characters we meet in the previous book, Choosing Happily Ever After. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.

Elana’s books are always a treat to read and this one is no different. Damon & Katie are the perfect couple – made for each other – even if they are the last two to figure that out. Brought together by a deal to help Damon purchase his childhood home, Damon and Katie are caught off-guard when their feelings become more real than their “pretend” marriage. I hope we hear more about Damon and Katie in future books. This book was an easy weekend read. The characters are down to earth and easy to like. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for the other couples in the Ever After series.

Damon and Katie have been friends forever, and now they are engaged. Fake-engaged to help Damon. Everyone says they “knew it;” their friendship was more than what they ever said. Neither expressed their true feelings for fear of risking their friendship.

The relationship between two life long friends, turns into more. Nothing about this story is easy, but in the end romance and friendship changes, the challenge is can it last, moving toward a HEA. Another special story. Don’t miss this one.

This story was so good. The characters were very likeable and you just were rooting for the to realize they were really in love. Damon and Katie had been friends for years, but had never crossed over the friend role. So their friends and family were only a little surprised when they announced they were getting married. I felt bad for Jeremy but not too much. One of the things I really loved about the story besides the story was that you could see more stories coming out of this one. Bonus!!!

This is another well written, great fast paced, emotional, steamy and interesting enemy to lovers romance.
The characters are engaging, well thought out and constructed
This book can be read as a standalone but it would be more enjoyable reading Choosing Happily Ever After first.
Cant wait for the next book in the series
This is an interesting collection of short stories, some teasers that leave you wanting the rest of the story. Some are complete stories and some great introductions to promising authors and series. Many different styles and a great collection of authors.

Another lovely book by Elena Aitken. Really growing to adore this series and the wonderful, surprising, romantic stories it tells!
Katie and Damon have forever been friends. Been friends so long they understand each other completely. When Damon needs some help, Katie does not hesitate to jump right in, not considering the backlash. Lots of ups and downs, full of emotion while they blend together without also ruining their longtime friendship !
I’ll argue anyone that says they don’t enjoy a good friends to lovers story, ESPECIALLY one by Elena Aitken.
I won’t give anything away, but Damon and Katie have been friends forever, and when a huge life change makes a marriage a solution to his problems, Damon doesn’t waste any time going to Katie for help.
Loved this book, number 2 in the series. Elena writes very well developed books, has characters with real depth that you WANT to be friends with, and has you wishing for your own HEA.

I love Katie and Damon’s story being best friends for ever then Damon needing have a fiance (must read to know why). This story has the angst and love and of course the HEA.

Damon and Katie have been best friends forever and now they are slowly discovering that love has always been there and it’s worth the leap.
What a sweet read. It’s not your typical fake fiancé story. Two best friends who love each other cannot figure out that they’re in love with each other. Katie and Damon have been inseparable since childhood. Damon wants his childhood home and a Katie wants to help him get it. Along the way, they tripped up and realized they were in love all along. My only criticism is the language so the book isn’t PG. I feel the same emphasis can be made without the use of those words. I guarantee you will love this story. It’s sweet and endearing. I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Katie and Damon have been best friends forever, since kindergarten. Needing Happily Ever After by Elena Aitken, book two in her Ever After series, is an amazing story featuring a fake relationship my favorite trope, and pairing that with friends to lovers, oh my!!!! This is truly the perfect love story.
Damon Banks might be a billionaire, but when his childhood home goes on the market, he knows he must have it. There’s a catch. His father is insisting that it be sold to a married couple. Damon knows there’s a way around this. Katie Langdon would do anything for him, including being his fake fiancé. They have known each other forever and know each other better than anyone else; this should be a breeze. As their wedding date approaches, the pretending becomes more difficult as their feelings, real feelings neither of them realized they’d ever had, become very real. Suddenly the line between fake and real becomes blurred, and Damon and Katie must figure out how to straighten out this mess or risk losing true love for good.
Ms. Aitken wrote a wonderful and amazing story, filled with sizzling chemistry, fun dialogue, and endearing characters that is not to be missed. I totally enjoyed and highly recommend Needing Happily Ever After to other readers and look forward to the next book in the series.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
Welcome to Glacier Falls where love is real. Friendships are dedicated and happily ever after can exist.
In Needing Happily Ever After you get to meet Damon Banks and Katie Landon. Damon and Katie are best friends. Damon and Katie are always there for each other. They have each other’s back. When Damon’s father puts his childhood home up for sale Damon wants to buy it. Enter the problem. Damon’s father will only sell it to someone who is married. That made my heart sad for Damon. That land meant a lot to Damon and hid father had stipulations. Ugh! Enter Katie. Damon decides he needs a fiancée and he naturally thinks of Katie first. Once Katie becomes Damon’s fake “fiancée” things begin to heat up. Feelings change. Emotions get confused.
I love their chemistry. The journey both Katie and Damon go on is realistic and relatable. I laughed and felt my heart swoon throughout this story. Katie and Damon are perfect for each other. They are truly the very essence of true love and meant to be. Their friendship is full of dedication and loyalty that pours over into love. I felt as if I were a part of the their journey. I quickly became invested in their journey to love. I love catching up with other characters. I love how they mesh perfectly with the story and Katie and Damon. There was no confusion. I read Needing Happily Ever After in one day. I couldn’t put the story down. I didn’t want it to end.
Elena Aitken knows just how to grab her audience’s attention. She grabbed mine from page one. She captivates her reader’s hearts and soul. Every book she writes leaves you wanting more. The words danced into my heart to stay forever. Grab your copy and join me in Glacier Falls.
Another fun, enjoyable read! Katie & Damon have been friends forever so when Damon needed a “fake” fiancée he instantly thought of Katie. He wanted to buy his family home but his dad was insisting that it had to go to someone looking to settle down. As Katie & Damon worked to overcome obstacles, they began to pay attention to their feelings.
Ms. Aitken gives her readers wonderful characters that are well developed & thought out. The characters all mess together perfectly & from the descriptions you can picture them in your mind. Katie & Damon seemed perfect for each other. It seemed like it was a case of not wanting to upset the friendship so they didn’t look any deeper at their feelings. I really have enjoyed the first stories in this series & can’t wait for the next one.
